Brought out the spread for a couple pupusas. Yum
Really good pupusas, they also have the best cantaloupe water.

I was pleasantly surprised after driving past this building for literally years! From the outside, the building looks a little run down, but let me tell you...the inside is IMMACULATE! The staff was very friendly and spoke English and Spanish. They were more than accommodating to explain the different types of Pupusas they have to choose. The food was fresh, it was tasty, and the new owner came to visit (he was related to the previous owner). I couldn't have been more pleased, and now my staff uses this as our "Pupusa Friday" location. Great experience at El Majahual!

This place has the best pupusas in all Houston. They are super quick (10 minute) wait to get fresh and hot pupusas. The workers here are so friendly.

Great pupusas, made fresh to order. Bit of a language barrier, as I was doing a lot of pointing and head shaking while I was ordering...but that's how I knew I was at the right place for pupusas!

My favorite pupusa place. They make them as you order and they taste really homemade! Cantaloupe water is delicious. Service is great!

I usually just give a heavy splash of whatever hot sauce that's on the table. Caution they have Chile Habanero sauce! ( El Yucateco Brand) WoW

Went there today with two other people and the waitress never took our order. We waited for nearly 45 minutes and never even got the menu. We even told the guy in the front and he said the lady would be coming but she never did. They even served the customers who came after us but just ignored us. Definitely not coming back

Very authentic type of hole in the wall place! They serve authentic Salvadoran food. My co workers and I came here for a papusa fix. We all really enjoyed! The papusas are huge! Two will definitely fill you up. They are incredibly warm and comforting. My favorite was the bean and cheese! The horchata is also very good with a nice amount of cinnamon in it. There is a little language barrier so definitely brush up on your Spanish or go with people who can speak Spanish. This place is great and authentic. Also cheap! I paid a few dollars for just the papusas (They are around $1-$2 each). Because it is a hole in the wall type of joint, I felt like it was not the cleanest, but this is the only slight negative to me!

OMG....the papusas here are amazing. None of the extra dough like some places. So flavorful and the cabbage is spot on.
