El Lobo Mexican Restaurant

We stopped here for an early dinner and were not disappointed.A nice atmosphere, friendly service and good food.Their kids meals are big and reasonably priced. My picky grandson loved the taco, rice and beans. I had two burritos. One was all I could eat, took the other one home with me. Both were well done and I would order them again.The salsa is a little on the spicy side for us, but was still good.The chips were thick and warm when served.Located near a grocery store, kind of behind some other stores, it was a little hard to find at first, but now I know how to get there, so we will be back!

My favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at. Service is excellent and very quick. Wide variety of items on the menu and food is always so delicious!

Great shrimp taco salad - the shrimp was large and was a generous portion. The chips were just okay - not great. The salsa was mild and tasty. Not much atmosphere but the prices and food makes up for it. The Waiter didn't quite get my order right so that's the one less star.

I would give them a 0 rating if possible. The food is bland, and always messy. My tortilla on the fajita quesadilla was pure mush...like raw, mushy dough. The "manager" refused to give me her name. She told me it was none of my business. Her attitude was horrible while ordering over the phone, so I should have just cancelled then. She said they could only WARM my burrito, and could not do it chimichanga style, which they had done before...When my husband came to pick up the food, she acted like she couldn't find the order. When I called her to tell her about the horrible quality of the food and inaccuracy of the order she was extremely rude AGAIN! When I took the food back, she snatched it, and threw it in the trash and didn't say a word. The gentleman at the register handed me a receipt and said they refunded my card and that it would take 7 business days. She still refused to give me her name. Horrible experience!!I ended up going to Mi Cancun in Angier, and it was aamzing! The atmosphere was great and the vibe was so welcoming! The food was 10 times better...so fresh and seasoned! And the staff was NICE!!

The shrimp served with the fajitas were literally rancid. How did the cook not notice the smell before and after the shrimp was cooked?I hope a health inspector sees this review.

They start your meal with warm tostadas and an incredible salsa! Waitress and waiters are always personable, prompt, and they never let your glass get empty. The food is hot and full of flavor!! Plus you eat like royalty for less than 30.00 for two!!! We are always happy when we come here!! Our favorite for Mexican cuisine.

Love supporting this family-run business! Staff is always a pleasure and food is consistently great.

The food was very good. I liked the salsa which is a big plus for me. I had ACP which is boring I know but it's usually the first dish I try at a new place. The cost for lunch $14, about average these days. But the portion was amazingly large! I ate all I could hold, and I like to eat, and still brought home enough for another meal. The service was a bit odd, I had a female take my order but she was either bartender or something else because I had to ask the male server that working my area for water. She never came back. All said I'd go back in a minute!

Poor quality food. I've been to several Mexican spots and this is low tiered unfortunately. Good location but the food was not good at all. Tried 2x and same results. Not good. Service was subpar as well. I'm like I need a refill and where's my waiter.

Great place to enjoy a meal with a group. Affordable and fun, wide selection of meals on the menu.
