El Limon - Wayne

I have now been to 6 or 7 of the 14 El Limon's and last night we had LIGHTENING-FAST service and huge mason jars of (very sweet) FREE margarita.Chips were freshly fried and we got pico AND guacamole which were both very fresh tasting. The pico had a fairly strong jalapeno/onion "bite" so maybe they got a really spicy batch.My friend had 3 tacos and I had a shrimp tostada ($5!).I also ordered my man a veggie burrito ($12) to go which he enjoyed.Be aware there is a 3% cash discount (i.e. - they charge more for using a card) so luckily, we had cash.Unlike a few years ago - service is much improved and the food is still great and in today's crazy-expensive world - a good value, too.

This is my usual takeout spot for tacos and they're usually pretty tasty. Finally had the chance to dine-in and things were still pretty good. Started with Chips + Guac, which were fresh and had good portions. Also had a complimentary marg which wasn't all that good, but it was free, so can't complain there.Ordered a Chorizo, Carnitas, and Lengua tacos and they were all tasty. Finished the meal with a Tres Leches cake, but it was unfortunately pretty dry? Mom had some Shrimp Tacos which I got to sample, which were also tasty, and so was the rice that came with it. But the refried beans were a miss.Overall, it's a solid taco place, and gets the job done.

I love the Chicken Tinga Burrito with Tomatillo sauce. When I'm in town it's the first thing I want to eat since good chicken tinga is hard to find! I also get the yummy Guacamole.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed by my recent experience at El Limon. We ordered guacamole for the table. The portion was tiny. I ordered steak fajitas, and they came out warm - not hot - and were clearly not cooked on a cast iron skillet like all fajitas I've had in my entire life were. The meat was bland and the peppers were, too. The green salsa at the table was good, but I had to add quite a lot to get the fajitas to taste like anything. Just not a great meal at all. The service was fine, nothing out of the ordinary.I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, unfortunately.

Quick service and always fresh! Love everything I have ordered. Tacos, burritos, and nachos.

Consistent with the Others Except One ThingI was excited for an El Limon to open up within walking distance of where I work. I used to frequent the one in Conshohocken and the other in Ardmore. This place is just as good as the others.I typically get either the shrimp tacos with rice & beans or the chicken quesadilla. Both are great and remind me why it's one of my favorite Mexican places to frequent. I will say that I don't feel like the service is as friendly as the other places, though. I mean the one in Conshohocken (at least used to) gives out free margaritas. Regardless, even taking that out of consideration, I feel like this place can be a bit cold when ordering.

I used to love this place but the last 3 or 4 times I've gotten food from here, it was v bad. They've gone downhill and I'm not sure why. The burrito I had was awful. I used to love their quesadilla but that was bad too. I hope they pick up bcos I love this place.

Wow the food is delicious. It's an unassuming spot but both the service and food are excellent. There's free margaritas and the servers are great- shout out to Paula and Diego! I had the mole and I can't stop expressing how wonderful it was.

Ordered a chicken Tinga burrito and added peppers and onions. I paid extra to add peppers and onions, and there is absolutely ZERO chicken in this... not happy. This is mostly rice and terribly dry. AND again, I paid extra.

Tamales tacos burritos Chips and guacamole.... Good food and good service A-+++++++***
