El Limon

I usually just get three tacos when I go to El Limon. It's good enough for a neighborhood taco place. My go to is the Chicken Tinga tacos. They're juicy,, moist and the meat is plentiful. This time the meat was dry so not as tasty but fine abd edible. The guacamole is tasty. It has the perfect lime-y tang to it. I ate the guacamole without the chips because they weren't as fresh as I'd like so they took away from the tastiness of the guacamole. My husband had a burrito that came with mole. Did not love the mole....no one did so that got disposed of.

For starters we enjoyed the chips with guacamole and salsa. The salsa was a medium hot pico de galla with a few spicier spots from the diced jalapenos. Everyone enjoyed. I had the marinated chicken fajitas. Others in my party had the tacos (shrimp, barbacoa, tinga, carnitas, and asada). All were good and very reasonable.Included 2 free margaritas per person. Bill was $62 for chips, guac, salsa, 6 iced teas, 2 margaritas, 8 tacos, and chicken fajitas.Place was clean, but could use a face lift with a paint job. Service was fine. Would definitely return when in the area. And, have already recommended to friends.

i've never been inside, only ordered out, but I can say from what i've received their food is great. The price is very fair for the portion given. I have only gotten the cheese quesadilla. the cheese quesadilla comes with lettuce and tomato's, and sour cream. I also get chips guac and pico and the chips are homemade. I will continue to order my quesadilla here whenever i'm in the mood!

Love this place. Authentic, affordable, fast. The staff is always friendly, kind and accommodating. The food is great. My favorite is their Tacos, the chicken tinga and the lengua. A neighborhood favorite for sure !

I've visited over 7 El Limóns and this location is one of my favorites. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently great. Even when they're busy, they manage to churn out food relatively quickly. Order accuracy is also pretty high. Out of 9+ visits, they've only made a mistake once and it wasn't a big deal (different type of burrito). Never had a bad experience here. Veggies are always fresh and cooked properly, and the loaded nachos' ratio of chips to toppings is just about right (piled high w/ all the fixings). Once you try El Limón's loaded nachos, other place's nachos pale in comparison.Their jamaica's the right balance of sweet and sour, and their free margs hit the spot even if they're a little watered down (excellent for the price).PS Anyone wanna start an El Limón fan club with me?

I was super excited to see the reviews and had a taste for Mexican. Service was quick but authentic tasting Mexican is a no go for me. The steak was extremely dry and tough definitely not skirt/flank. The same meat was used for tacos. When you have lived near Mexico and in San Diego you know what food should taste like. Inside is basic.

First time here, was treated to lunch by a friend. I wasn't expecting such a delicious meal. Will definitely return. Affordable & tasty on the mainline? Yes, please!

At first, this place didn't seem so good. But then I ate the food. It was so good, and the service is amazingly fast. There is a lack of ambiance, so that will sadly dock a star, but the food is 5 stars!

IF YOU ARE PICKING UP, CHECK YOUR BAG EVERY TIME! They seem to forget stuff each time I pick up food from here. They are so kind and it never feels like it is on purpose but it is something to look out for.

A rare open on Sunday restaurant in Ardmore! We loved the food (especially the quesabirria) and service. The horchata was more powdery than we are used to but would visit again.
