We had not visited this spot in a while and decided to drop by with the kids. So glad we did! The staff was very nice and helped explain the menu. We were hungry, so we ordered tortas and the hubby had a mangonada. I was pleased to see that my daughter loved the torta! She normally likes turkey sandwiches and she said 'it was soooo good'. She even ate her leftovers at home. The tortas are a big size, so plenty to eat. They also have hot dogs, which was what we ordered for my youngest. He gobbled it up. The kids also enjoyed a fruit salad and they loved the crema which they said was the best 'yogurt. Very nice to have options that we can enjoy with the kids. They also have ice cream and snow cones. We'll be back.

I've seen these fruit/dessert places pop up all over houston and many of them have pretty good yelp reviews. I decided to visit one day and just ordered the XL watermelon agua fresca. It wasn't on the menu, but it's served at many of the other locations I visit for agua frescas. Lets just say it was way different than all the others I've ever had. They add some type of thick syrup to it...so the resulting liquid mixture is very viscous and not refreshing at all. Texture is more like a cough syrup. I think they may be more well known for their other desserts such as ice cream, cut fruit, or snow cones. Needless to say, I won't be back and I'd recommend going somewhere else if you want a real fresh aqua fresca without all the added sugar and syrups. I ended up dumping it in the trash after about 4-5 sips.

As a fan of El Kiosko in Magnolia I was pretty certain the Tomball location wouldn't disappoint. I was correct. As usual the frozen treats were delicious!! My kiddos had their homemade ice cream (Mango and Strawberry) and I had a pineapple trole. Everything I've tried at El Kiosko (both locations included) has been AMAZING!! One of my favorite places to visit in the Magnolia/Tomball area.

I never clicked post review a few months ago...Some of the women behind the counter can be super rude. I'm sorry, but if you are in the service industry, make an effort to learn some of your industries' language--Especially as a cashier. You wait for your order on their time while they chit-chat about something or someone. It was not the first experience at this location, but it's the last one. I asked for my money back--bye!

Last time I came it wasn't too bad. This time, I asked for pineapple and orange juice mixed. The cashier looked at me like I was nuts and said they can't do that. I noticed there's a juice on the menu that includes both of those, and asked how that one was made. They wouldn't tell me. So I just got an orange juice which was $8. Then I ordered the regular elote with hot sauce on top. The corn didn't even taste like corn, like at all I don't know what the deal with it was. That was also $7. When I got my juice, it was warm. On top of all of this the cashier was extremely unhelpful. Probably won't be back to this location.
