El Guacalito Restaurant

Siempre que venimos es un super buen servicio aparte de la comida y de los tragos. Melissa me atendió y siempre preguntando si necesitábamos algo. El dueño super nice y buena persona también. Siempre la paso bien cuando vengo a Guacalito.

The location is quite odd. There are an incredible amount of tables, similar to a ballroom. The service was fine. The waitress was very nice but when it was time to get the check she was no where to be found. The food was very good. The only drinks we had was cacao but it wasn't great. Very grainy. Overall, I would go again just because the food was very tasty.

I place an order on Sunday to pick up I always order to go it was a parrillada with 2 n acarameles I had put the order of 2 Gallo pintos they didn't come with the order like the manager was like whatever about it but he told me to go pick it up very disappointed the nacatamal was like mussy and wet inside

The food was delicious but the music was too loud my boyfriend was not feeling well we can't talk we was screaming

The food was amazing and authentic. Fire Nica food with live music past 9. I will 100% come back here.

We got an appetizer for the whole table that came with yuca, fries, sausage, chicken, pork, wings, steak, tostones, fried cheese, black beans and sweet plantains. we were more than satisfied. That was the best fried cheese i've ever had in Miami. They have a full bar and live performances. This place is more to drink and have fun with loud music with family/friends. It is open really late so it is almost like a club. If you want to only come for the food i recommend going in the daytime or just doing take out because everyone inside will be drinking and dancing to the amazing live performers.

The service was absolutely trash. Me and my family visited this restaurant for the first time and after spending hundreds of dollars their food was extremely expensive and at last they were kicking us out because they were getting busy.

This restaurant recently rebranded their name, they used to be a Mexican restaurant, but now they seem to be Central America. Before walking in, I am not sure if they do this everyday, the bouncer scans you with a metal detector and they search your bags, I am assuming for weapons. The music inside is ridiculously loud, uncomfortably loud. It was annoyingly difficult trying to place our order with the waitress. In matter of minutes everything we ordered was brought out. We even noticed a few customers left because the music was way too loud.The food was delicious, their parrilla for one is honestly big enough for two. I, like a child haha, ordered their chicken tacos with fried cheese and liquified refried beans. The ambiance seems like lots of fun during the weekend, and every single table was used. They have live performers and customers dancing at the side of their table.

Our bill today came with an 18% service charge. When I chose NO TIP, as the tip is included in the service charge, the waitress said the service charge did not include the tip. I proceeded to add a tip. One person in in our group questioned the veracity of the statement. We called the manager for verification and it turns out the waitress lied to us. The tip IS included in the service charge.Don't go to this place, as the food is mediocre at best, but the SERVICE is BAD when the server tries to scam an additional tip out of you.

We used to visit this place often. The orchestra is very, very good and the waitresses are very competitive. We recommend this place!Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5
