this place was delicious. I cannot express that enough, I would totally recommend this place if you're ever in this town.the service was amazing, the salsa and chips are top tier, the enchiladas were amazing, the marg was a bit strong towards the end and very flavored at the top, just needed to be mixed but overall amazing. would come here again fr.

People not friendly and more concerned about their phones instead of the customer. The food was tasteless and bland. I really expected better, but it was not good. The chili was not savory and had no spice to it, the beans and rice were bland and flavorless NO plans to ever return to this restaurant. NOT recommended - go elsewhere.

El Dorado is a hidden gem in Golden! We have been coming to this restaurant for years and it is our favorite Mexican food place! Every time we are here they are consistently good. I can tell that word has gotten out about it as every time we come here now it is packed and oftentimes on a little wait. It is worth it though. You have the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is really nice and beautiful. Although they can be very busy, we have always had really great service. The staff is so friendly and they all work together as a team. Even the manager is helping out the servers, which (as a server myself) is extremely nice to see! The food comes out quickly, is hot, and is consistently good. I have had everything from their breakfast burritos, tacos, margaritas, chimichangas, burritos, enchiladas, chile rellanos, green chile, carnitas place, etc. I have never had a bad meal here. You get the choice of mild, medium, or hot green chile. I can take a lot of spice and I think the medium is perfect. I love the chips and salsa that are served upon sitting down. The chips are warm and taste homemade. The salsa is extremely flavorful and the consistency is perfect...not too chunky and not too watery. The servers keep the chips and salsa full until the meal comes out which is nice. If you are in the Golden area, I highly recommend this place! (The only thing I wish was different is their hours. I wish they opened earlier and stayed open later).

Love this place, great little spot in Golden. Food was delicious and the service was great.

Food was awesome and fresh. They provide options for level of heat, start slow, haha. Service was just fair. We had to call someone over to take a drink order after sitting there for five minutes. I'd definitely go back though.

This place had good food and hefty portions. You can tell this is a favorite for some locals. The margaritas are strong and tasty. The service was good and the atmosphere is lively. This place is definitely worth trying. Warning: the salsa they give you is a little spicier than mild, so if you are expecting mild, you could get a surprise.

Back again - and the same order as is typical for the here: a smothered bean burrito with spicy hot green chili!This time the green chili was hot - and delicious. The beans were creamy and flavorful. Lettuce and tomato on top finished off this classic burrito.

Some of the worst veg fajitas I've ever had. Looked like they dumped a pack of BirdsEye on the plate. I live right next to the restaurant but have never been back because the meal was so disappointing.

We love this place! And have now become regulars. Service is ALWAYS good. Food is fantastic and authentic. Their chile relleno's are delicious, some of my favorite I've ever had. Highly recommended!
