El Dorado Mexican Restaurant # 2

We passed this place several times, but glad we stopped this time. Greeted and Seated promptly. Ordered the combo for 2 which consisted of beef chicken shrimp fajitas, beans and rice . Babbbby it came out streaming with goodness. The beef and chicken was tender and moist . The onions bell peppers were cooked perfect . It was alot but we definitely tried to eat it all but couldn't so we packed the rest to go. We have found another great place and have have already planned to return with others in tow.

Manager and staff are amazing! Came in here because I heard the service and food were reallly phenomenal! Was greeted promptly by miguel and the manger with all smiles! Food was great, service was fantastic, I am in the customer service industry so I always appreciate good service I also love their decor in the restaurant! All around awesome !! Thank you !

Nice location, comfortable seating, great food. I had the pastor tacos at the recommendation of someone picking up a to go order. Top shelf Margarita work great choices of tequilas. It's a good spot for Mexican food.

This is my to the point review:Jalapeño margarita is on point! The tequila is infused with jalapeño and you can taste it! Yum!Fish tacos - the fish is very fresh and seasoned well!! Came with all the usual suspects.. tomato, lettuce, onion & cheeseQueso - meh, not the best but not the worstChips & salsa - see response for quesoAs other have mentioned, there are way too many choices on the menu and I think I need to create a spreadsheet to break it down!Overall I enjoyed it and will he back if craving fish tacos.

We tried here this past Sunday. I'll say the staff was nice and quick, it might've been quick because there was only one other table when we were sat. After eating I see why. I read a review that said decent price and decent food. I don't feel like that was a decent price for the flavor of food I got. The salsa is ok and that was probably the best thing we had. The queso had a weird texture that lefty a film in my mouth along with less flavor than canned nacho cheese. I ordered the flautas they were crispy and that was the best part, the meat had no flavor, was a grayish color, and they were covered in the flavorless queso. The beat description is my food was cooked and then afterwards washed off to make sure all flavor was gone. In my opinion 3 meals, (2 being enchiladas) queso, and a house marg are not $69 meal when they are of the quality I had.

Service is always great. We usually have 6 or more people in our party and they seat us immediately. Today we were a party of 17 and they stayed on top of it. Very impressed with the service. Chips and drinks stay full. Bathrooms are clean. They have a bar and always have sports games on. The food is good, not the best, but it's good.

We always give restaurants another shot and we're glad we gave this one another. This has become our go to Mexican Food in League City. The menu is extensive and the prices are great. The best is the service. These folks work hard to make sure we are always taken care of. The food has improved dramatically since my first negative review. Sadly it has taken me so long to update the review. We have eaten here at least twice a month since 2018.

First time trying this place and wasn't disappointed. Service was great and the tacos al carbon were very good. The fajita meat was very tender and flavorful. Only thing I would improve was the queso. It just had a weird taste to it. It wasn't nasty it was just different. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Service, food is spectacular and the staff is very welcoming and very experienced. 100% recommend and will be coming back. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Second time at El Dorado and the service was sub par. My fiancé and I sat at the bar, only received a drink several minutes after being looked over from many servers/bar tenders is because we asked for a drink. The bar had at least 50 dirty dishes at the end of the bar. The server's do not have a POS system, that is on management/owners so, they literally have to write down every order on a piece of paper, go through the menu, write the price next to the item ordered then they have a community calculator to manually add everything up. Way too time consuming and stressful on the staff especially when busy. Now let's get to the food. We ordered the Fajita Computesto combo for two. It was okay. The charro beans were good, the food is not salty.
