El Corral Mexican Grill & Bar

I'm so ecstatic to have a solid Mexican restaurant open up so close to where I live! I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The restaurant is pretty spacious and service was quick. You get complimentary chips and salsa, and the salsa was so deliciously spicy. I ordered the chicken flautas and loved them. They were neither too dry nor too oily. Perfectly crispy and they paired well with the salsa, guacamole, and sour cream. Their rice was cooked well, and I'm a sucker for good arroz rojo. I also tried a michelada and that was the perfect, refreshing complement to my meal. I'm excited to come back here whenever I'm craving Mexican food so I can try their other dishes!

I decided to go today with my family and food was amazing solo service and the waitress were absolutely so amazing and the place looked very clean and nice

I will definitely eat here again. Service was solid. Drinks were solid. Michelada is good. Atomosphere- SOLID very authentic with a nice small bar which I prefer. Food: I had the Machaca a la Mexicana and was impressed. Very authentic flavor to the beef. The hot sauce is warm which isn't MY personal favorite, but still good. The green sauce was bomb! Give it a shot, very authentic spot

I'm giving 5 stars because each time I stop here after a long stressful day of teaching, the service is friendly and so tentative. Their top shelf margarita is one of the best anywhere in the area. The food is also tasty. Tonight getting tortilla soup to go and I'm looking forward to tasting. I greatly appreciate that service is so good after a 12-14 hour workday.

I've been driving by this place regularly for over a year, and decided to stop in this morning for breakfast tacos. I'm glad I did!They were not crowded at all - it was a little after 8 AM. I ordered four breakfast tacos - two with bacon and two with sausage, all four having flour tortillas, refried beans, eggs, and cheese.They were made fresh while I waited - and were delicious!I'll definitely be coming back for lunch or dinner one day to try their other fare.

I love Mexican food. I grew up eating it and I'm always looking for good restaurants, especially those with chiles rellenos on the menu. So, I see the mixed reviews for El Corral, and decide to try it. The restaurant is large and clean. The chips and dip is yummy..: they serve both the traditional red sauce and avocado sauce. Then... they have horchata and agua frescas. I ordered jamaica, which is made from hibiscus. It was delicious. As an entree I ordered chiles rellenos stuffed with cheese, with rice, beans and salad with slices of fresh avocados. It was all delicious and the plate was huge. My husband ordered Enchiladas Mexicanas , and he was happy and full and took home food to go. Me? Despite the huge serving, there was little left. Good service, good food, reasonable prices. If you like Mexican food? give this a try.

Tex mex food that's better than the usual around here but it was just okay to me. The queso was good and not the usual neon orange kind so that was a plus. The burritos are also large. It's also reasonably priced. I would eat there again because this a food desert

We happened upon this place this past weekend as we were driving back home to Katy, and we're so happy we ending up stopping here. My wife is very particular with certain foods and the caldo de pollo is one exact dish she only eats when I make it at home. But, she really wanted some so we ordered it anyway and with the protein on the side. To our positive amazement, they actually serve it with chicken breast, which no one ever does. So, that's an accomplishment in and of itself!I had the menudo which was really, really good and didn't taste greasy at all like most places think everyone wants it to taste like. lolThe flour tortillas that came with my side place of barbacoa was also very tasty, but the barbacoa seems to need a little more salt? Which, I hate adding after its already been cooked so I just ate it as is. All in all, great food and great service!

This is my first time dining at El Corral. I was looking for a place that served some good Micheladas because my daughter was in town and she wanted some Micheladas and Ceviche. I went in cautiously optimistic but let me tell you that I was very impressed!My daughter approved of the Michelada and she is very particular about her Michelada. She loved the ceviche.I had the mole enchiladas and some queso dip. My grandson had pancakes, eggs and bacon and he enjoyed his food as well.I will definitely be going back for more.

This has got to be the disappointment of the year for me. Shame cause I was looking forward to it and it truly disappointed.I ordered The Breakfast El Corral and I misread the menu. Didn't realize that the 'Specialty Breakfast Plates' were marked with an *.The potatoes were cold. Ate one.Could taste the grease from the flat griddle in the steak and not in a good way. Ate 2 bites.The cheese enchiladas, not sure about them either. Looks like some type of white cheese was rolled in the tortillas and covered lightly with sauce. And they were on the cold side as well.The only two things that were good, the cinnamon coffee and the lady that originally seated and checked me out (she checked on me once), not the one that took & brought my order (she did check on me once though).
