Every time I'm in Montgomery, I head to El Bosque. The service is so excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming and the food just melts my heart! The shrimp tacos are a particular with plump juicy shrimp. I love their Charo beans, and I always ask for green sauce, which is outstanding. My sister loves their taco salad with fajita meat. I wish there was an El Bosque in Philly; I tell them that every time I go.

The food is basic and seriously overpriced. Since the pandemic, management has claimed that inflation increased their prices. They were overpriced to begin with and increasing the prices has made it even more so. I'm not paying $18 per quesadilla or almost $20 for a fajita salad.

I love the food here. But can anyone explain why a chicken chimichanga in the restaurant is priced at $16.95 but the same chicken chimichanga for takeout is $20.69? I was going to order takeout today but that price is ridiculous. I checked their menu on line and it showed $16.95 but then went to order and it showed $20.69. Disappointed

After eating at nearly every Mexican restaurant in the area more than once, I can attest to El Bosque being the most consistent, and the most flavorful. The prices are a little higher for similar dishes at other Mexican restaurants in the area, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend the enchiladas.

The Fried Shrimp were absolutely horrendous- ever Mexican restaurant that l've known is expert at making this dish ,the Chef should be fired !No lemons , no tartar sauce or cocktail sauce, the shrimp were breaded with some weird,inedible mixture - a MINUS ZERO RATING!El Bosque owes me an apology and a meal !

Ordered through door dash Cheese enchiladas were tasteless, very small portion of everything. Tortillas had not even been warned or cooked. Very poor quality.My taco salad was very over cooked meat. Almost tasteless. Chips were stale. No salsa were included. Very disappointed $41 way too much for what was received. This was not a good meal at all

My husband went to El Bosque with friends and enjoyed the food and service (apparently the friend who organized the event is a regular patron). He was excited to take our family back there but the experience was completely different. When we arrived he mentioned to the owner that he has been there with his good friend (mentioning his friend by name) and the owner could not have been less interested. Only three other tables were occupied (Thursday night at 7:00) which I guess should have told us something. Despite the small number of patrons our food took a long time. One family member ordered tamales which arrived cold and dried out. Another ordered chile rellenos with fajita chicken, only to discover a large piece of plastic inside the pepper! When we mentioned it to the waiter he just shrugged. No apologies. We asked him to take it off our bill and he did. We ended up having a very good dinner at another restaurant.Definitely will not be going back. By the way -- the restaurant smells like people have been smoking there. Ugh.
