This is one of my new favorite places ! I'm literally obsessed with the design and all the food is amazing ! Parking:Parking is a bit of a challenge especially on Friday evening for dinner. This is pretty common in Rice Village area anyway but it's still good to be aware of. We parked in the lot, but then had a hard time finding the door. It's located on the side of the building past the local foods patio. Design:I loved the design ! There are so many cool and whimsical touches from the unique light fixtures to the fish shaped water pitchers, olive shaped pillows to colorful toilet paper. It's a fun and stylish space ! Seating: There is a patio with seating as well as indoor seating. They had some tables which could seat more but we were on the side of the bar with small booths. Unfortunately the area we were in had several vents directly above the seats. Whenever the AC would kick on it would blow directly on us which wasn't the best. The table height relative to the seating in this section was also a bit off. I couldn't cross my legs under the table and had to hunch a bit to eat. Both of these things contribute to the less than 5 star rating for me. The seating for the bigger groups look much more comfortable Food ! We ordered so much food and it was delicious! The dumplings and ravioli were a favorite ! Everything else was amazingly delicious as well. The burger was much larger than expected. There's a lot of dill in several of the dishes which I was obsessed with ! ValueI usually don't post about pricing but the value here was amazing ! We ordered so many things plus drinks and were surprised at the bill. It's definitely worth coming here for an amazing experience that won't overly break the budget !

Updating after a year, and 3 additional visits here after my initial one. This place seriously does not disappoint. The food is always top notch. And the service is outstanding. I sat at the bar on a Tuesday and was served by Daniel, the bar tender. He was so friendly and personable and treated me to some exceptionally made cocktails and great service.the happy hour menu is amazing with $1 gulf oysters and $2 east coast. They have a good variety of foods on their happy hour menu that is outstanding. This particular day I tried the duck wings and the 'haute dog'. Both were fantastic and I'd get them again. For cocktails I had the Fancy Greyhound, Gin Sour, and Not Another Word. All were very well made, balanced, and delicious. The gin sour is their take on the pisco sour and was so good!I was only disappointed in the fact that I was so full and couldn't continue to eat and drink here. Always consider this as an option for both happy hour or dinner service. You absolutely will not be disappointed

Eau Tour is located next to Local Foods with the front door facing Kelvin Drive. Street parking with 2 hour limit or the parking lot with Local Foods. The parking spots can fill up quickly and are a little tight. Eau Tour's decor is a complete vibe. From Houston engraved bricks in the stairwell, mushroom, fish, and snail knick knacks, down to a set of bread night lights. The restaurant was packed and lively on a Friday night. I'd suggest a reservation off Resy. They have a small cocktail list and decent wine list. Our group of 3 ordered the Sourdough with whipped ricotta, Mushroom stroganoff, Steak frites, Broccolini, and Carrots. The whipped ricotta is super light and airy. We enjoyed both charred veggies dishes. The Mushroom stroganoff was the most interesting of the night. There was a crisp potato rosti with the familiarity in flavor of a traditional stroganoff sauce. Slight salty sauce that didn't bother us enough but the one dish we couldn't stop going back to. Service was attentive throughout the night. Constant water refills out of fish pitchers. The staff were fun to strike up random conversations with. Eau Tour is great for a casual dinner with friends or date night. Cute touch with the pink toilet paper in the restrooms.

Went here on date night for my birthday. Loved the ambiance which was contemporary and there's seating inside or outside. For food, we got a bunch of stuff but I think the favorites were the vegetables including leeks and broccolini. Both dishes had just the right combo of different tastes and crunchiness mixed in. Service was also good. Our waters were promptly refilled and waiter came in to check in on us diligently.

Super cute restaurant and enjoyable dinning experience. The bread service sounded overrated, but the ricotta whip dip was delicious paired with the house made bread! It's a French restaurant - guess the bread had to be good. I am definitely going to find a dupe for enjoyment at home. The Brussel sprouts were tasty - sweet, savory crunchy. Lots of flavors and textures that complimented each other. The roasted striped bass was also delicious - crispy fish skin, fresh and flaky fish. I wasn't a huge fan of the leeks vinaigrette, but it was very unique and as a fellow foodie, I'm glad I tried it once. The only item I would skip is the Mushroom Raclette dumpling. Tasted like stinky cheese to me, but maybe that is someone else's thing. Overall solid dinning experience.

My sister went to Paris recently and was craving French butter, I found this place because they served French butter, the butter didn't live up to the one she had in Paris but we still enjoyed the food. Cute restaurant, loved the music, retro-ish deco and friendly staff. Small brunch menu but the items we had were all good. Would have liked a bigger selection of drinks.

A group of 12 came for a birthday/reunion & they were able to accommodate us very easily. We did 3 orders of each item per table & it was plenty of food. We ordered quite of bit of appetizers but I wished they spaced it out a bit. Our table was feeling cramped & we felt a little rushed to consolidate to make more room. I got a ESPRESSO MARTINI with tequila & it was nice & strong Appetizer- GULF / EAST COAST OYSTERS: Clean & refreshing - TUNA & SCALLOP CRUDO: Loved the quinoa in the tuna crudo. Served with little gem wraps to make a little taco. The scallop crudo was TOO SALTY & SOUR - STEAK TARARE: The squid ink lavash made the dish visually interesting- SEEDED SOURDOUGH: This was the most surprising in best way. The WHIPPED RICOTTA was to die for. Creamy & sweet. The sourdough had a great texture. I would get this again in a heartbeat - MUSHROOM + RACLETTE DUMPLING: Wasn't memorable to me, the other appetizers definitely excelled & left this one in the dust Entree- CAVATELLI: Good chunk of tender lobster but I just wasn't a fan of this dish. It was lack luster compared to the other two entrees. I wouldn't get this one again - BEEF BOURGUIGNON: Super tender & the potato rosti was crunchy & something I haven't had before - STEAK FRITES: The cook on the steak was more medium than medium rare. The duck fat fries were addictingThere's a few more dishes I would be interested in trying & would love to have a HAPPY HOUR transition to dinner date here.

First, getting to Eau Tour was challenging since it is on the second level of a restaurant building and I had a stroller. I didn't see where else to enter so we had to carry the stroller up the stairs.Once inside, we were promptly seated and they made sure that we had enough space. I am unfortunately dairy free so much of the menu I could not have. The waiter was extremely nice and went above and beyond in terms of service. He even provided a free dairy free appetizer which was so sweet. The food I could eat was delicious. The fries were classic shoestring fries - nice and crispy The Brussel sprouts were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The steak tartar was everything I needed it to be. Lightly seasoned, nice balanced flavors. I ate most of it by myself despite there being 3 other people there. The duck was the main star. The only thing wrong was that it was too small. I craved more meatttt. They adapted this dish to meet my dietary needs which is a sign that they make their meals fresh. Love that for us.Baby friendly: 3/5Dietary friendly: 4/5 (they try their best)Food: 4.5/5 what I had was good but it is a bit pricy for the serving size. Service: 5/5 our waiter was the best and made up for the fact that we could barely get into the restaurant. He made sure that we were welcomed and not made to feel like a burden because we had a baby and dietary restrictions.

We just had another fantastic dining experience at Eau Tour. Daniel Z. was our server and took excellent care of us. We got there early as to take advantage of the one dollar oyster HH special as well as the Happy Meal. We also had the Eau Tour salad and brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit.
