Eat Greek

Food was excellent! More than enough! I had the beef & lamb gyro, wife had the chicken kabob rice bowl. The food was seasoned very well however, we would have loved more fresher ingredients atop the rice bowl.

If there's one place that still has pre-covid prices for food - it's this! On top of that, the food is absolutely AMAZING!!!! The pitas are so freaking fresh, soft and delicious. It almost melts in your mouth! We got chicken gyro and that was 10/10. Fries are really delicious and crispy. Dips were 8/10 Service is 10/10 as well. Food came out really fast. There's a cute sitting area in the back that's giving Greece vibes. Must visit place if you love Greek food!

Very laid back spot with ample seating in the back. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and left absolutely stuffed and satisfied. Definitely recommend this spot for a lunch or dinner on the cheaper side. Service was friendly and helpful as well. Lamb/Beef Gyro Sandwich: Solid gyro stuffed with meat, fries, sauce, and onions. This is a pretty filling one, so pairing it with apps is sure to fill you up. The meat was seasoned pretty well, and overall, this is just a great dish. Very authentic Greek food. Def can recommend and would go back again. We had the spanakopita which was wonderful.

The beet salad!!! A perfect partner for roasted beets! Its funky flavor and creamy texture paired wonderfully with the sweet, earthy root veggies. I also had some French fries - complete goodness **

After a morning at the Elmwood Park Zoo, my family and I came here for a quick lunch. The food was surprisingly really good and satisfying. I got the lamb and beef gyro and my husband had the chicken skewer platter with fries. The pita bread here is so good (fresh, warm and soft) but the tzatziki could be better (too thick and not enough flavor). The entire meal was very heavy because of the fries, but the salad helped cut some of the grease. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for quick and good Greek food.

The food was very good. The seasoning was well balanced. Generous portion. The gyro, skewers, mousaka were delicious. Next time visiting would come back.

Order in front, and find seating in small space with about ten tables in the back. Though small, tastefully decorated. Large menu, and waiter was friendlFood is fresh delicious. We ordered grape leaves, which tasted very fresh. Skewers and gyro are fresh off the grill. The yogurt sauce which came with the meats was also good. Every platter comes with generous side of Greek salad.

Never had been there before, so I calledto find out if they were strictly takeout, or had a dining room. The gentleman did tell me they had a dining room, so I assumed it was a full service restaurant. We had to order at the counter, which was no big deal and they brought our food out to the dining room for us. Food was served in takeout containers, which was certainly not what I expected. Food was mediocre at best, and if I were going for a sandwich, it may have been fine. Wouldn't go back, and they should have told me that they weren't a full service restaurant when I called.

3.5Competent but not spectacular.Meaning I would not go out of my way to come here, but if I lived or worked nearby, I would stop by occasionally. I have had better. Debated whether to give place a 3 or a 4. Not quite good enough for a 4 but better than average, which is what I consider a 3 to be.Tried a gyro. Pita grilled. Tomatoes, lettuce, red onion seemed fresh enough. Overall a little dry (could have used more sauce) and a little greasy, if that makes any sense.Didn't really taste 'Greek,' at least the Greek I know from American restaurants.If I were to be completely honest, compared to good, delicious Greek food I have been fortunate enough to have, fairly middling in taste.Only disclaimer, this was just one time, so maybe there is sampling error, as many reviews seem to rave about the food.Sandwich came well wrapped and nicely compact for convenient on-the-go lunch eating.Price reasonable.$12 for lunch special, with sandwich, fries, and a 12 oz can soda.Can order ahead online. Tipping part of payment of course (you can select zero).Just make sure to take a close look and see if your order is right. I was ordering for a group and one was a lunch special, the others just sandwiches, and the french fry was missing and no soda was offered. Fortunately caught the mistake myself before leaving the store.Small, narrow shop located right off the street and so just use street parking for pickup.
