Dulcino's Italian Steakhouse

Great service. Great food. Romantic ambiance. Highly recommend!If you are in the Conroe/Montgomery area and looking for a great place to eat dinner, Dulcino's Italian Steakhouse just opened and it's delicious. Dulcino's is in the same location where Rex's used to be. My husband and I are here now, they just opened this week. I had a rosemary lemon drop and he had a glass of silver Palm cab. For appetizer we had the Burrata with arugula and prosciutto, for soup we had the Pasta e Fagoli, and for entrees I had the fillet with mashed and he had truffle pasta with grilled chicken. We give this place 5 stars.

We are staying in Conroe for an event and decided to try this place. Guess it's new, only been open for about a month. The service was great, food was overall good! We got the shrimp pasta with a little cream sauce but everything else was not modified. It was great that they accommodated our request for that. The owner/manager seemed to be very caring and attentive. Overall this place was a good choice, and not too expensive.

We made reservations here and had a wonderful time. It's quiet with Frank Senatra playing in the background and food was wonderful. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the pasta dish felt like home made pasta and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. The Chilean sea bass melted in your mouth. We will definitely be back.

We went on a weeknight in the middle of February. It was...pretty good...? Not bad...? I know, not helpful, but we're struggling with why we didn't like it better. The ambiance is okay, better than before but still like a fish out of water, a country vibe pushing for fine dining. My steak was good to very good, as was her pasta - solid if not great ingredients, well prepared, but a little heavy-handed with sauces. My bisque was super heavy cream, so couldn't eat more than half. Service was good, not super professional but timing was good and they were pleasant. Talked to the new owner/manager at the door. He seemed out of place, a little overwhelmed.Good food but not fine dining, and too expensive by 20-30%. For the acid test, we've never once talked about going back.

Think ambiance could be a little better. Very bright for an Italian steakhouse. Good selection of steak and Italian dishes. We tried the clams appetizer and it was ok. Penne al a Vodka - if you like traditional NY style vodka sauce you will be disappointed but it was good. More of a cream sauce. We had a filet, perfectly cooked with a nice char crust and perfectly seasoned. We also had the shrimp fra diavolo. We had asked for spicy. Flavor was excellent, not very spicy but delicious. Highly recommend this place. Priced higher than most places in the area but worth the trip.Hint - the server we had needed a lot more training. She didn't really know the menu or what was in things or even what was not available.

Had to go back for a second try and they hit it out of the park again. Drinks, starters and food was amazing. Everyone needs to try this place out.

Great ambience, wonderful waiter service and excellent food. I ordered the Sea Bass and it was extraordinary; my girlfriend ordered the Prime Rib and her only mild disappointment was that they do not carry horseradish. Presentation was excellent and we would go back. Pricey and worth it.Pat S.

They had a great appetizer and the beer temp was absolutely perfect. The steaks...meh. One and done.

Went for Valentine's Day, service was a little weak, staff was always rushing, too rushed to even hear that the drink order was wrong so we had to wait 8mintues for the next encounter with our waitress. Chilean Seabass dish was not good at all, the fish was under cooked in the middle & on top of mashed potatoes that just did not go well together & the asparagus was chewy & stringy. $160 for two and only the appetizer was impressive.
