I just had the best dinner at Dua. We started with the Israeli Duo and the Calamaras Du Pescado. I love the Israeli Dul! It is so flavorful and a large serving size. It's such a good starter as it's not too heavy. My only critique is that it needs to come with more focaccia. I enjoyed it so much I'll be ordering it as a to-go lunch soon. My husband really enjoyed the calamari but I didn't. It's more like a soup which isn't what I was expecting. For my entree I had the special which was gnocchi with shrimp and crab meat in a tomato based sauce. Excellent! They didn't skimp on the crab meat, the gnocchi was perfectly cooked and the sauce was plentiful. Just so good! My husband had the Za'atar Chicken. He said it was good but didn't love it. I tasted it and agreed. It needed more of the lemon tahini and mint yogurt. Service is always good. The restaurant is nice and the tables aren't too close to each other but it can get loud in the dining room.

Cozy spot with friendly attentive staff and great fresh food. The portions are a bit small compared to the average restaurant. Great BYOB option. Focchia is so flavorful and fluffy. Special appetizer- goat cheese and feta with fig and pistachio. Super creamy and savory Israeli duo- hummus isn't traditional hummus. Crunchy chick peas and thick. Pepper dip is fresh and delicious. Rigatoni- clearly hand made. Very Al dente. Kalamata olive bitter flavor works well with the chicken. Very salty. Pasta special- squid ink pasta with crab meat and shrimp. Pasta is Al dente and super salty. Strong fishy flavor. Shrimp are not tender Meffalde was the best. Super creamy but not overwhelming. Very garlicky

Had an amazing dinner last night at Dua! Great addition to the Main Line restaurant scene. We had the Kafte, Mafalde, and the Paella which was a perfect amount of food for 2 people. Hard to pick a favorite as everything was so so delicious. Service was also excellent. Grab a great bottle of wine and get yourself ready for an amazing dinner!

Dua is a charming BYO in Bryn Mawr with a modern & bright interior & a lovely upstairs rooftop terrace. The staff are friendly & well versed in the menu. The prices are reasonable & portion sizes are standard. The food reflects dishes from all around the Mediterranean. We found the dishes lacking in salt & acidity & most dishes, especially seafoods were overcooked. Overall an average establishment but nice addition to the area.

Another great addition to Bryn Mawr with Dua (BYOB). Went Friday 02/17/23 and make sure you get a reservation. We made it early for 6pm and by 7 the place was packed and they had to turn people away that just showed up w/o a res. Started off with 2 apps, the Albanian Kofte & Melitzanes. Both were great and then decided on the Paella for two and it was delicious and plenty for us both. Service was good even with the place so full. Looking forward to coming back.

We were not surprised that the food here is great because we have eaten many times at Trattoria Moma in Mt. Airy, the other BYOB restaurant owned by Dua chef/owner, Bledar Istrefi. The sauces are heavenly, on a par with those at the most expensive restaurants, for example, the roasted pepper puree with the burrata, the tomato sauce with the baked shrimp and the lentil salsa with the orata. We can't wait to indulge in these again. Our server, Bjorni, a recent arrival from Albania, was delightful. Could not have been better! The ambience was lovely also. Weird, though, that no cream was offered with coffee and just one tiny packet of raw sugar. Never experienced that before. So the coffee was terrible. And no wine glasses for the wine, just juice glasses. Very, very strange!

Rude place. Wouldn't serve water. We were told they only "sell" bottled water as a restaurant policy. Restaurant wasn't crowded, but we were told we must leave in 90 minutes--restaurant policy. Then received our bill after asking if they took credit cards. We were suprisingly charged 3% to use a credit card, I guess this too is a hidden restaurant policy. We won't be going back.

We went for restaurant week and were glad we did. T,he hummus, rigatoni, salad, octopus, and tira misu were delicious. Our waiter B was delightful and very accommodating. We had a problem with the cook on the salmon but they were having issues with the oven, All in all it was pretty good and I recommend you give it a try.
