D's Bottle Shop

D's Bottle Shop is great! They have a really good selection of beer on draft plus a large cooler section. We grabbed a few beers and ordered takeout from one of the nearby restaurants. The service was very friendly and helpful too. Before you leave, browse the selection of beer to take home. Cheers!

I stopped in on Saturday afternoon after a long absence. I was pleasantly surprised with what the new owners have done with the place. The selection of beers and wines have expanded greatly and the layout of the store has been changed with new decor and a fresh coat of paint. I really like the neon sign at the front which states, "Enjoy It All" with tin brewery signs around it. They moved the dart boards to the rear and added some booth seating that wasn't there before. Like I said the beer selection has been expanded greatly and I picked up some cans to go from breweries I haven't seen before. It's a really nice spot in Wakefield to have a pint (or two) and hangout a bit while shopping for beer and wine to go. Definitely check them out.

I would like to thank Kelly and Nathan for everything they have brought to this place. I loved it when it was Susan and Darrell's, and it has gotten even better with Kelly and Nathan! They have gone through extremely difficult times throughout the pandemic, and the Bottle Shop continues to be a fantastic atmosphere and a place to simply relax and forget about all of the crap we all have to deal with on the daily.Their beer selection is top notch and organized. They also have several wines you can choose from, and will order anything they don't have (if you ask). Did I mentioned the selection of beers on tap??? The darts in the back??? The multicade in the front??? The huge chalk board of beers on tap to get you out of the digital landscape that we all live in now??? And on top of it all, some of the best people I've ever met work there (and the customers are pretty amazing too!).

D's is a great place to grab a beer or a glass of wine (thank you for having both)! Owner and staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Certainly more of a bottle shop than a hang out, but people do! Plenty of bar stool seating and a couple of booths and side tables if you decide to enjoy something there. I always get anxiety going to a bottle shop since I am not a beer drinker, but D was so kind as to ask me about my taste in wine and make suggestions. There I tasted for the first time Raeburn Russian River Valley Chardonnay; well done D! Some splits are offered if you find it poor taste to drink a whole bottle there.My husband shares with me that D's offers a good range of everyday and specialty beers, taps rotate frequently and it's a verified "Untappd" (app) location for keeping up to date on what's being poured. There are special events on occasion.You're welcome to order food from the nearby restaurants and bring it in (there are even menus from Dante's Italian on the booth tables). I've seen super cute puppies outside with their people and super cute kiddos hanging out with their very happy parents, so it's family and puppy friendly.

Fantastic place. Great selection of beer. Run and staffed by super people. It's always a joy to visit whether I am shopping or staying for a beer.This is a terrific local neighborhood spot.

New owners at D's Bottle Shop. Same great vibe and selection of beers. The burnt finish on the bar is steadfast and makes you want to learn carpentry. Excited for the next chapter at Ds.

I support local businesses but not with this attitude! I have purchased expensive wine at D's Bottle Shop but will not be returning. Shame on him!

Love D's Bottle Shop and only wish I could visit more often. The owners and staff are super friendly and I have always felt welcomed there. Amazing selection of beers and they've always been patient and kind with my many questions.
