Ok this Bar makes u feel right at home but u get to turn up with A couple of fly beautiful bartenders such as Kat and Gorgeous lol * my two favs* There drinks will get you right for happy hour and the home made food yes FOOD will have your mouth watering! (Get there early) however Best place to chill with friends, lovers or even during your favorite games *(rockets fans only)* live music with a good Hookah! Cheers!Oh yeah ask Kat for something fruity lol she will hook you right up

One thing that a Gemini like me can find is a gem--a precious commodity like none other. Dreams on a Thursday night definitely delivers a one of a kind live showcase of Houston area singers that will have you groovin and bobbin your head into the early morning hours!Before I continue with this review, please note that I am not talking about Dreams the strip club--I am referring to the Bar and Lounge with the same name off 288 and OST just to be clear. Sure, parking is sketchy. My advise: spare the five dollars to park in a lit area. The trade off-- no cover charge. I even saw patrons bring their own box of pizza inside the place and serve it out inside the lounge. Dreams does not sell food (and rightly so because the drinks are subpar, mediocre, and have the nerve to be expensive). $8 for a Daiquiri in a plastic cup is just highway robbery. If you must indulge in a drink, stick with the bottled brews or go across the street to Diallo's and get your shots and old school concoction fixes there. Beyond having no food and decent drinks, the live performances are on point! Real and Raw R&B being belted out among a crowd on a breezy Thursday evening puts you in the right mood to...ummm well you can use your imagination to finish that sentence. Upon entering you may not know where you fit in, but once the showcase starts, music tends to unify and make people really happy and cordial. I didn't really have a problem with anyone except a few stares when I ventured to the back to go to the restroom (which was clean by the way), but no one was outright rude. There is a reserved section waaaaaaaay in the back of the lounge, but if you're trying to actually see the performers cutting up, that's a bad seat. You either are going to stand up, or be lucky enough like me to get the tall tables and stools by the door (it's a high traffic area so beware). I usually don't mind posting up at the bar, but the bar was very tall and the stools were very low. I felt like a little kid sitting there and I had to reach way up to get to my drink--a very awkward situation.Despite the bland drinks and having to crane your neck to see around people standing inside to see the performances, you STILL must come and experience this live show that was still going strong at 1am! The band is on point and the singers are tremendously talented--even if you can't dance you'll find some sort of rhythm to groove to and have a great night!

I've been here quite a few times over the last few years, the drinks are always good, and its a nice fun party atmosphere 30 & up crowd. Sometimes on Sundays they have live music, but they can get packed quick and parking can get crazy so early arrival is suggested.

It was extremely crowded. Thought it was going to be fun. The bartenders are slow. It took 15 minutes to get a drink that I didn't like. It tasted like vomit. Tried to send it back and the waitress refused to take it or make another one because she didn't make it. She told the manager and she completely ignored us and continued taking orders... Maybe its fun early in the day when its less crowded. Giving one star for the DJ.

This is a nice little cozy spot. Music is good. Drinks are good and looks like they've done some remodeling. It's a cool vibe on the inside or outside on the patio.

This was a split sec decision and I had SO MUCH FUN! We happened to go the day Dreams was celebrating their 14th Year Anniversary! And all white party that was so much fun. Honestly would have had just as much fun if it were a regular Friday evening. Great drink specials, food and hookah! Service was great as well. I love Houston!!We sat outside and it wasn't to hot. They had misters and it was well shaded from the sun! Inside was nice as well but I prefer outside. Age group looks to have been 40+ which I appreciate ! Music and ambiance matched well!!

The place is one of my favorites especially during the holidays . Grown ups having a good time. Hip Hop and R&B music. Love the energy overall but yesterday,the bartender with blonde weave is not trustworthy. We we're charged $20 for 2 shots when the actual price is $5 shots not only once but twice but did realize it until the other bartender gave change back. It was mentioned to the owners and she stated because we walked away from the bar it was considered a tip, I don't know how long you need to stand at the bar to realize the customer has $10.00 owed to them not only once but twice, this bartender knows the game, she didn know that I'm a regular customer and a honest bartender would've tried notify the customer and let the customer choose to leave a tip or not, so she actually got $27.00 in tips from us and not by choice.I suggest if you're visiting this establishment to always be clear on the price of your drinks with your bartender and always ask for your change and don't leave the bar until you get your money that is owed to you.Most won't take the time to voice their opinions where a change can be made.I love coming to the establishment,but energy like that left a sour taste in my mouth.Maybe it's time for me to find another spot. I hate it because I've been coming to this place for years.

Cool laid back atmosphere. Happy hour was awesome! Drinks were strong. Great music! Will definitely come back.

Fun place to hang but very unprofessional!!! I had my birthday party there on yesterday November 7, I reserved and paid deposits weeks in advance , which was a pain getting the owner to respond, i order crown apple and a large order of wings a fries , I didn't receive either , they was out of crown apple , so I had to settle for something else, the food situation was ridiculous I have messages of how I spoke with the owner assistant confirming my order. Some how when I got there no one knows anything about the food they says constantly we working on it then a guy comes and say he has taken of the kitchen the club has nothing to do with the food which is crazy when the assistant sent me a list of items to order from, no never came to apologize are just to discuss the situation overall it's a fun place to hang out and party just don't try to have a party there it was awful business.

I'm leaving this review to make patrons aware that the owner " as he identified himself " does not value the business of the community that his business is right in the center of. He basically stated that he would prefer white business rather than the business of his own people. He was rude and threatened to have me sent to jail for simply asking a question as if my self and other patrons don't have a right to question any of his actions. He discriminated on a group of young ladies solely on their appearance. He first said they are under age . They offered to present identification he said well you aren't 25 and they again said yes we are look at our TDL . That wasnt enough so he then followed with your shoes aren't allowed. Ironically while they were still standing there another young lady walked in with the same shoes that he denied ...you guessed it he allowed her and stated that it's his business and he can refuse who he chooses and no one can question him and if they were "white people he would never this issue" news flash you're in 3rd ward and the white people over here hate your establishment and complain about you on our neighborhood app weekly. Poor customer service and I won't be returning.
