Donut Wheel

I went looking for really good donuts and found them in this hole in the wall place. Please don't let the old building fool you. They put all their energy into making the most awesome donuts and kolaches. And the prices are incredible. The donuts have a distinct vanilla flavor and don't leave that pasty lard taste in your mouth. The kolaches are a sweet bread and not doughy. The oriental run shop is super courteous. Check them out.

Best donuts ever. They taste so much like Krispy Kreme I couldn't believe it. Their caramel ice coffee was also amazing.

A Conroe staple for 20 plus years that I know of. Haven't been in there in a while. They must have sold out to new people or something because the incredible kolaches are no more. Down-sized for profit I guess. Not the same as they used to be. Big, big bread with a little bit of meat inside. Shame.

I came here bc of the reviews. I normally go to Shipley's and wanted to try out a local shop bc growing up those were the best! I ordered ham and cheese Kolaches and sausage and cheese kolaches and some glaze and sprinkle donuts. Donuts tasted old. DO NOT order the ham and cheese, the meat was absolutely disgusting and not edible. My bf hated the sausage and he eats anything. Luckily it was cheap, I just wasted $10 and went to Shipley's anyways. Gave them two starts bc I feel bad giving one since it's a local business but legit never going back.

This donut shop is amazing!! You are greeted by the sweetest woman and her family Place is clean, just dated (which are the best places in my opinion ) I bought 2 dozen Kolaches and 2 dozen donuts for work and they were gone fast! The guys stated the bacon/egg/cheese Kolaches "were fire". I had an apple fritter bear claw that was delicious! The best fritter I had was when I visited Germany and this took me right back! I will be back again for personal and work!! Thank you to this family and their hard work!!

I've been here a couple of times and the service was always good. I usually get the boudain kolache, smoked sausage kolache, or bacon egg and cheese kolache. They are all pretty good. The boudain kolache is my favorite. The spicy version is very spicy however just be aware. I've had the glazed donut was good. When I've gone I've noticed they made the food fresh on-site. The dough is always freshest because of this. This is my go-to breakfast spot when I'm in Conroe.

I know I've gone back and forth on this review, BUT it's the best spot IMHO in the Conroe area. It's my family's favorite and we've tried several different locations. The Chappel Hill kolaches are great. I like the sausage. I get the spicy and it always has just the kick I like in my breakfast sausage. The service is always friendly and fast. We like the drive thru. There are a few places inside but it's a simple inside with 70s seating. Best to take it to go for work or back home. I don't recommend the regular kolaches but my wife and kids love them.

I used to stop here every morning for kolaches. So delicious and the lady working every morning was so sweet to me every single visit! I used the drive through except once I had to go in.

This is one of the best places you can go to in the morning the people there are so nice and one time i was 1 dollar short they covered it and gave me free doughnut holes they always keep the kolaches fresh and they have unbelievable coffee one thing i do really wish they had is a delivery app or were on Uber eats they are so much better than shipleys and I will never change my mind.
