Wow. I won't be going back here ever again. I guess business is so good they can afford to be RUDE to the only two customers in the store. Between the monosyllabic grunts to our requests and refusal to even pretend to be helpful and courteous, you'd think the donuts would at least be enough to make up for the lousy service. But no. They were stale. And microwaving the egg, cheese, and ham croissant right in front of us... nice touch.

I don't usually get all goofy over donuts. But if there's a bakery in heaven, this'd be it. Kolaches and croissants that melt in your mouth, bursting with fresh flavor. Apple fritters are among the very best I've had. Quick and friendly service by hard working staff. Located off the beaten path up on the north end of Lake Conroe, I never miss this joint when coming to visit my parents. I'm certain there is a counterpart in SA, just have not found it yet. And if they had chicken and waffles, I'd give 'em 6 stars instead of 5.Scott H.

Best donut shop hands down. Me and my kids love it. My daughter says we can't go to any other donut shop. Also nice people.

The owner is super friendly, kolaches are to die for, croissant sandwiches are divine, and the blueberry cake donut is the best I've ever had!! We pick up breakfast here every time when at the lake - always a crowd pleaser! And you can always count on them to be open, especially on holiday weekends. 10/10

Definitely the best donuts we've had in years. And the apple fritters were the best we've had, *ever*. We also tried the blueberry donut, cinnamon twist, jalapeno sausage kolache, and donut holes. All were outstanding, and the owner was friendly and personable. We look forward to going back and trying more flavors.

The Donuts are always fresh and delicious and service is great. I only get my Donuts there because the owner make you feel welcome and always have a smile on his face. And also take his time to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase.

I came to Donut Outlet because of the Yelp reviews, and they were spot on. These donuts and kolaches were fantastic. The Apple Fritters, Creme filled donuts, and cinnamon rolls are truly some of the best I've ever had. The Kolaches, no joke, are also some of the best that I have had. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the surrounding areas. If you're local and just haven't tried it yet, I hope that you give this place a shot. Thank you!

We are new to the area and was looking for a donut shop near by. I always rely on the people reviews in Yelp and I have always been steered in the right direction until now. Not sure if they were having an off day but the ONLY donut selection was glazed, choc glazed and donut holes. Nothing like the pictures posted of cinnamon rolls, colorful glazed with cereal topping, etc. It was 9:45am which is not super early but still in the realm of breakfast time. We left and went to Shipley's on FM1097 and I45. They were very busy and had a large variety of donuts.
