Great options for any type of diner!Donavan's has healthy options, classic options, gourmet options, and wine and dine- fine options! ...probably more, but we didn't browse for too long.Tip: if you are picking up dinner, try to pick it up earlier in the day. The meal we picked up needed to be completely thawed, so we ended up eating it for the next day!

Ambience: The store is very easy to locate, well organized and clean. You are able to quickly locate what is meatless meals, chicken meals, seafood, etc. They ensure you know what is in all their meals to ensure dietary needs are taken into consideration.Food:This has become one of our go to places for meal prep type of meal for the week. We are in love with the Salmon dinner, the ranch dressing, the boneless beef ribs, and the blueberry loaf bread. We enjoy going here weekly. As others have stated, they have frozen and fresh meals to pick from so you can have a quick meal or serval to unthaw through week. Service:The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I've used this meal delivery service and shopped in person at the Cary location. The food reheated as instructed and the customer service was good for both the in store and delivery. The food is pricey but you're paying for convenience. My only complaint would be that there aren't any Keto option. Almost all the meals come with a high carb base like rice or pasta. I would shop here more of that wasn't the case.

Donovan's Dish is fantastic. Think of a meal delivery service except this is a local option that is already prepared and you just have to thaw it and throw it into the oven. My favorites so far have been the black bean & sweet potato enchiladas, meat lasagna, boneless beef braised short ribs and and pimento cheese stuffed chicken. This company delivers but you can also pick it up fresh or frozen. I can't wait to try more entrees.

I LOVE Donovan's! My husband and I used them as our wedding caterer and the entire experience was phenomenal! We told our wedding planner how important it was for us to have amazing food at our wedding, so she suggested Donovan's Dish. We went for a tasting and were immediately sold! All the food we tried was delicious and all the staff we worked with were helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We loved that they offered a wide variety of dishes that were more than just your typical wedding food like the same chicken or salmon dish you get at every wedding. For appetizers, we selected the goat cheese empanadas (AMAZING), bourbon meatballs (my husband still talks about these), mini chicken and waffles, and caprese skewers. We did live chef stations for entrees and had the shrimp and grits (one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my entire life), lemon chicken with goat cheese risotto (I still dream of that risotto), and the bistro filet. The signature ham rolls as our late night bites were a massive hit - these things are so addictive. For dessert, we had the donut flambé station which was so fun! All our guests could not stop talking how amazing all the food was. We had a few vegetarian and vegan guests and Donovan's had awesome options for them, as well! We were so pleased with our experience with Donovan's for our wedding that we also bought their Thanksgiving dinner two years in a row! Everything comes packaged with the cooking instructions on the containers and you get everything you could possibly want. We have had two years of totally stress free Thanksgiving dinners. I am also a massive fan of their takeout market! We always have one or two of their meals in our fridge or freezer for when we don't feel like cooking. I seriously tell everyone I know about how much we love Donovan's! The owner, Jill, is incredibly sweet and she has a fantastic team!

Excellent take home. I use Donovan's dish to stock my freezer. When I am too lazy to cook, I grab a fresh frozen meal. I have had meatloaf, cabbage rolls, and Turkey. They were all good so far an very close to home cooking, except I did not have to think long and hard. The thanksgiving dinner was a hit, all the sides were very good. Excellent dressing, Mac an cheese, a great meal without the hassle.

Like most everyone else, I'm not going anywhere or spending much money, so the time was right to support this local catering and delivery business. Their site is very specific about the steps they're taking to stay safe, and they have no-touch delivery. I ordered Mac and Cheese, Shrimp and Grits, and the brussels sprouts. The prices are higher than if I cooked at home, but lower than if I ordered at a restaurant (and I've never been able to make a decent Shrimp and Grits at home!). Make sure you have room in your freezer! They text you on the day of delivery to let you know when to expect your food. They changed the delivery window three times in about two hours, but my food arrived when they finally said it would. The driver wore gloves, knocked and left the food on the porch while I waved through the window.The Mac and Cheese remains in my freezer, but the Shrimp and Grits was loaded with shrimp and quite tasty. I also enjoyed the brussels sprouts. Portions are good, though not huge (except for the brussels), and each dish has reheating instructions on its lid. Because of the variety of entrees, Donovan's Dish is a great choice for something different for delivery.

Love everything but the ham sandwich and loaded potatoes. Price is right. I hope they do seasonal changes to their selection.

A dear friend of mine sent many meals for me through Donovan's Dish when I was sick. I loved all the wonderful meals! When my niece was not feeling well, I decided to do the same for her. I was having trouble with my order online and called their number. A nice lady stayed on the phone and did the order for me. I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the meals. I will definitely use this service again.

Love this place for all things ready-made! Makes dinners super easy when we are busy with sports etc.
