Love the food, the green sauce, the waitstaff. Authentic and delicious neighborhood Mexican restaurant.

Not great but not bad either, my friend and I decided to come here after the Rockets game. It's been so long since I've had enchiladas & I was looking for a spot that can deliver some authentic Mexican food. To start, the server brought us some complimentary chips & salsa. They were fresh & hot. The green sauce was very spicy but I enjoyed it. I always have to get horchata as my drink; unfortunately this one tasted a little watered down & I didn't really get that cinnamon flavor that was expected. The enchiladas had the option of beef or chicken & you can either pick red or green sauce. I went ahead and ordered the chicken with red sauce. The enchiladas was fair at best. The chicken was pretty moist, but the sauce wasn't that good. The beans were over salted to the point it was inedible, I did however enjoyed my rice. Overall, the service was great but the food was fair. I'll come back and try out their other dishes when I'm around the area.

I've always love this place ever since it was called Arrandas. The pollo a la plancha plate is my favorite, taquitos are great burgers too. But I recently tried the flautas de papa and was blown away! Sweet tea is also San Antonio approved!

This is by far my favorite restaurant to eat in Houston, however I am thoroughly disappointed in today's service Tuesday, June 20, 2023 the quesadilla plate I ordered had the lettuce cut in Lange chunks, not to mention it was old and yellow( nothing like the fresh salad that is usually given) the avocado was also old and turning black-ish. I come to this restaurant regularly but I'm disappointed that as the price is increased on the food the service is getting worse(not to mention the disappointing tastes of a usually delicious charro beans). I am Very disappointed in today's service.

Ok. So it's nothing fancy but we love this place. The staff as wonderful and recognize us every time we walk in. The food is simple, fresh and delish. I adore the charro beans. Always order extra to bring home. We love it! Not to mention the prices are great too!

This is my go-to Mexican restaurant nearby! I'm not a Mexican food connoisseur, but I personally love their food. My husband and I always share their fajita for 1, because their portions are huge! (and I love their chips!!)Although I agree with most of the reviews here about cleanliness and such, but keep in mind this place is tagged with 1 dollar sign. You can probably feed 4 people (food + drinks) with a 50 dollar check at the end. And yes, it's true some of the staffs don't speak English. But English is also my second language, so it really didn't bother me at all (and I find it hilarious when my husband try his hardest to impress me with his broken Spanish). Just point on the menu, and you'll be fine.

I've driven past this place so many times and never paid much attention to it but it came up on Google when I was looking for a lunch spot so I decided to give it a try seeing as they have so many good reviews. This place was PACKED when I got there but they were still able to seat me. The chips are homemade and both salsas are good, but the green is my favorite one. The tacos are your normal street tacos. Nothing special about them. And the margarita, it doesn't taste like any alcohol is in it but it will sneak up on you. I'm going to be coming back here soon.

The spot. It's a good place to eat real Mexican food. Service always great. Even when it's a wait you don't have to wait long . Chips and salsa is great . Love the tacos here

Been coming here before it was Don Rey. A family favorite and consistently good. The service is always friendly which makes us feel at home. The food feels authentic and the green sauce is addicting. You can't go wrong with anything in the menu!
