"Unforgettable Flavors and Outstanding Service at Don Julio!"I had the most amazing dining experience at **Don Julio** in Wake Forest! The food was *absolutely delicious*! From the perfectly seasoned *tacos* to the sizzling *fajitas*, each dish was bursting with authentic flavor. The *burrito* was generously stuffed and savory, and the *molcajete* was a true showstopper--an explosion of bold, rich flavors in every bite! And let me not forget the *margaritas*! I treated myself to their top-shelf options, and wow, they were strong, smooth, and so refreshing!The service was just as outstanding as the food. The staff was *friendly, fast, and incredibly attentive*--always making sure everything was perfect with a smile. I can't recommend **Don Julio** enough for an unforgettable meal full of flavor, fun, and fantastic hospitality!

Food is what you expect when you go to a Mexican restaurant. They made what I asked for. No complaints.Atmosphere what you expect. Clean, bright, comfortable.Service was good. Guillermo19 provided good service.What I don't like is they charge you 4% for using card. Ccd companies aren't charging 4% fees to them. Future tips will reflect the poor policies of this company. Charging a ccd fee is like adding a line item for utilities or employee healthcare. I do t want to see a line item. Keep your cost of business wrapped up in your prices. Don't plan on returning.

Service could be better, the waitress was a little upset because we asked to be moved to a table with light. Ambience is too dark for my choice. You can't see the menu. Food was good, it seems like it was microwaved, every time I eat at Don Julio. I get upset stomach.

OMG. This place the food is delicious...the guy at the bar was amazing, Mr. Guillermo.. excellent customer service atmosphere is wonderful drinks or amazing. I have a cucumber margarita and I have two children Plate which was way too much food but I still enjoyed it. The prices are just exceptional you get so much more for the little money you spend this is a Hidden Jim , thank God I found them, please go you won't regret it

Went here for lunch. Prices are great and food is plentiful. We sat at the bar. The chairs are very comfy and large, which is an odd thing to notice and mention in a review, but worth being noted I think! The service was just ok. There wasn't a bartender behind the bar the whole time so if we needed something we would have to wait or to get silverware, I just went and got it from the host stand myself. The bar menu doesn't list the drink prices. I know that's not uncommon but I didn't love that. I got a classic margarita and it was $10. I think I assumed it would be smaller and less expensive. But, for $10 I did get a huge (and good) margarita. Would definitely come back or order to go for lunch for sure.

Went for light lunch over the weekend and the waitress wasn't interested in really be attentive. I had to almost jump out of my seat to get her attention. Never came back after the food had been served to ask how it was or if we needed anything. My son and I shared the nachos supreme the menu said shredded cheese and it was cheese sauce. The chips were sitting in a puddle of liquid. The flavor was so so. This not a spot that I would make a special trip for.

I'm new to the area and was looking for a Mexican restaurant (thank goodness for Yelp)! We chose Don Julio based on the margaritas. We were greeted and sat immediately. It wasn't busy at all. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and quick. To my surprise, Don Julio has tamales (something I had a hard time finding in CT) AND margarita flights. Because I'm a sucker for flights, I had to get one. You don't get to choose the flavors but that's okay, they were all amazing! I ordered the three choice plate with a tamale, Chile relleno, and an beef enchilada. Everything tasted great but I was more so blown by the margaritas! I will definitely come back to Don Julio...whether it's for drinks or food.

We went here on a whim when looking to try a new Mexican place, and we were seated as soon as we arrived, even without a reservation on a Friday night. The service was fast and our waiter kept checking back to see if we needed anything. The food was tasty and the margaritas were large. I'd like to come back and try more of their margarita flavors because my wife and mine were both delicious!
