Stopped by Don Beto's to grab a quick lunch, noticed they had a drive-thru, so we wheeled in. Drive-thru service was fairly quick, in and out in just a few minutes even with a car ahead of us. The food was really good, I had a taco salad with chicken and tried a couple al pastor tacos, the taco salad was good, shell fried just right, but a little too soupy in the bottom from excessive water on the lettuce apparently. The al pastor tacos were really good, they had nice flavor. I would stop by again if in the area.

Cute local place. My husband and I appreciate how convenient it is to home ....beats driving all the way to Raleigh on those tired/chill nights. There's usually a wait, but not too long. Servers are pleasant. I get the Don fajitas each time. They're my go to. We really go for the drinks. They have tequila flights! Plenty to choose from at a decent price. Love this place for a quick night out when we just want to get out.

Don't judge it by the exterior or the parking lot. This gem right off I-95 has good food and service. We had a variety of dishes - enchiladas, tacos, and chili relleno. All were good. Will definitely return.

Since moving to NC 2.5 years ago, it's been a mission to find great food. We don't know why this state is so afraid of salt, but that's been a thing. And when we moved from Raleigh to Clayton, we basically just gave up. It was a mix of my love of the Selma antique stores and my husband constantly asking his coworkers about good local restaurants that led us to Don Beto's. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was feeling like I was home. The music was a mix of the radio stations my abuela used to play, the aesthetic looked like it was adapted from my tio's living room, and the whole place just smelled like my childhood. Right away, I loved it. The beer list was perfection. I'd forgotten how much I missed a good Dos Equis. The nachos were god-tier, and I loved that they did not skimp on their guacamole when I asked for some. My husband got fajitas, I got something I wouldn't dare try to pronounce that was basically lechon with flour tortillas, rice and beans. When I tell you that as a Borinquen I am PICKY about my lechon, and this place blew me away - believe that. The service was amazing. Our waitress was a total sweetheart. She knew when to let us vibe on our own, but she was right there when we were even thinking we needed something. This is 100% our new favourite restaurant. We don't need to keep looking. I plan to bring all my out of town friends here. Every birthday for my future kids will be here. This place is absolutely amazing.Prices are perfect. Ambience is wonderful. Music on point. Food is next level. Service is ace. And you get portion sizes like there's a little viejita in the kitchen telling you you're too skinny so you have to take leftovers home.

Always excellent. A favorite go to. All of their food and service at the Flowers location has consistently been great. My twins always want to go there and the decor is colorful with just o hint of cultural history. Highly recommend.

I've eaten at this location many times and enjoy their food. This was my last time. My parents took a to go order for me when I got it one of the tacos was empty. I called the restaurant and they told me to go back the next day and I would get a free order of tacos. The next day I was helped by this older guy named JAIME. When j told him why I was there, he immediately became agitated and aggressive telling me I was a liar and that it could not happen. When I tried showing him the picture and explained I had called the day before. He began to raise his voice and continued to accuse me of lying. It was loud enough to where staff and other customers started to notice. When I asked to speak to a manager he said no one was there. When I asked who his manager is he said he didn't have one. I proceed to walk out. Rude doesn't begin to describe him. Never going there again.
