Divan Restaurant & Bar

It was an excellent night at Divan.We were planning to catch a show at the Atlanta Orchestra across the street, so it seemed like the perfect time to try this restaurant. I had read somewhere that it was a romantic spot.They showed us to your table, or I could say room. We walked up to the third floor of this huge house and were sat in a huge room that I imagine used to be a master dining room when the place was a 1 family house.Our server came over and was a guy named Gee. I expected a youthful sarcastic intro but he was smart and polite. He was went over the menu a bit and got our drinks. I got a D' Rum Rum. that was great.We started with Crab risotto croquettes, which were fantastic.for my entrée I got the Blackened verlasso salmon. The service was great, the salmon was out and on the table pretty quick. And man, it was perfect. The sauce and tomatoes an oyster mushrooms really complemented the flaky mouth watering salmon. From the ambiance of the great room to the food itself, not to mention the attentive service, it may be the best restaurant experience I have had in ALT so far.

It was a beautiful birthday dinner for a friend. The ambiance really sets the tone for great food and service. The 6 spice potatoes appetizer and the hummus spread (not pictured) were great. Mussels 9/10. White wine sauce really brings out they the flavor. some of the mussels seemed just slightly cooked longer then I would prefer. Would still have this again! Lamb Shank 10/10 nice tender, not too gamey piece lamb shoulder in a flavorful stew pot. Rice was perfection.Garlic Shrimp 9/10 large garlic butter tender pieces of shrimp. Lamb burger 8/10 really great crispy on the outside, tender on the inside patty. Could use a bit more flavor but not mad at it. Cucumber salad really nice touch.

This restaurant was one for the books. Let me start off with the service, the waitress was so helpful and friendly. She suggested great dishes. The food came out fairly quickly and black bean hummus was very unique and delicious. The food overall was very tasty. The saffron chicken was marinated to perfection, it was juicy and well cooked and everything paired really well together. The potatoes were also classic and well seasoned. I am a Mediterranean food enthusiast but haven't heard anyone talk about this place. I loved the fact that they had different spaces for Hookah and Food and for people who just wanted to dine in. We will be back!

The food was delicious, and the staff was attentive throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the mixed drinks were disappointing, and we had to send back a few food and drink items. However, the team was very accommodating and made sure we were satisfied with our order. There is no on-site parking, only valet, or you can park in a nearby garage and walk over. While the interior could use a renovation, it's still a great spot to relax. They also do a nice job of separating the restaurant area from the hookah lounge.

I've frequented their establishment when it was located in Buckhead and looked forward to seeing how they transitioned to the new midtown location. The building is an old mansion that was eventually turned into a bed and breakfast and now houses Divan. A lot of thought was put into the aesthetic. I went around Halloween and the restaurant was completely decked out for the holiday and now they have Valentine's Day inspired decor. They have several bars and full dining service. The menu is the same as far as I call recall and is composed of Mediterranean and Persian dishes. They have an excellent cocktail menu as well. My go-to's are the crab risotto croquettes and the garlic shrimp entree. The crab croquettes are delicious, but the portion is small. The garlic shrimp is served with dill flavored basmati rice and has a scrumptious butter sauce. The 6 spice potatoes are very good too. I sampled my friend's duck leg confit and was blown away. I instantly regretted not ordering it! The flavors were amazing and the duck was very tender.The customer service is good overall. My only cons are the $10 valet and the "security " out front asking if people if they're carrying any concealed weapons.

My girlfriend took me out on a surprise date. Never heard of this place. However, very thoroughly impressed. The bottom floor has a small bar, dinner on the 2nd with a bar, and hookah areas on 3rd n 4th with a patio. The valet option is great too so you don't have to walk from the garage. It was only $10. The setting is real classy and chill. Our server, Maya was real knowledgeable and some great recommendations. We ordered spice potatoes for the app, fire. For the entree she ordered the chicken kabob and I ordered the salmon pasta. It was really flavorful with onions, oyster mushrooms, tomatoes. The sauce was real light and tasty. I'd come back and def recommend ya'll to try too.

Okay so literally stumbled on this place leaving The High Museum!!! And can I just say this place got everything right !!! The ambiance was perfect! Staff was amazing - literally from the greeter at check-in to our host Zendaya's twin Shania and to top it off the GM Anthony!!! Everyone was very knowledgeable about all the products and recommendations were A1!!! We started off with an appetizer: Crab Risotto Croquettes ... I give those a 3.5/5.But stay with me... Anthony and Zendaya gave us recommendations for food. My friend ordered the Lobster Ravioli with scallops 10/10!!! Sooo good she broke out into a dance !!! I ordered the Blackened Verlasso Salmon 10/10!!! Seasoned just right not too soupy but just right amount of noodle / sauce / meat portion !!! Seasoned let me let you know I could've licked the bowl if I was at home but I have home training. But wait it gets better - the drinks were amazing !!! Anthony made us some pretty blue drink just because it was Friday and we were celebrating just that lol . It was 10/10 - pretty and tasted amazing . My friend ordered the martini and I had the Parisian sangria which was 10/10! So basically like this is on my map of places I'll most definitely keep coming back to when in Midtown. Because what - amazing food, amazing service and amazing vibes !!! So glad we stumbled on this location *excuse any typos

Divan's Resturant & Bar located in Midtown Atlanta. This Mediterranean restaurant/bar has fantastic service. Divan's has an upstairs rooftop with scenic view's of the beautiful Midtown/Downtown. If you're seated on the rooftop, Divan's serves flavored Hookah, drinks & food with a friendly functional staff. For my drink, I ordered an Old Fashioned, so yummy and for my starter, I had Divan's delicious Traditional Hummus, flavored to perfection. Entree, I ordered Koobideh Kabob and for desserts, the Persian Doughnuts with Raspberry Cheesecake. Overall, I give Divan's a ten out of ten. Divan's has a safe secure location with security upon entrance. Kudos to Jas, Divan's amazing waitress she provided excellent service. Perfect for date night!
