At Dirty Water Dough Company, we indulged in a delightful pizza feast. The small Margherita pizza had a fresh, simple flavor with just the right amount of basil. The large veggie pizza was packed with a variety of toppings, providing a hearty and satisfying bite. The veggie sandwich was a nice contrast, offering fresh ingredients and a well-balanced texture. The highlight was definitely the Garlic Cheesy Bread--crispy, cheesy, and flavorful, with a perfect kick of garlic. A great spot for pizza lovers!#BostonEats #PizzaLovers #DirtyWaterDough #BostonFoodies #PizzaTime #VeggiePizza #GarlicBread #FoodReview #NewburyStreet #BostonBites #FoodieAdventures #CheesyGoodness #BostonPizza #MargheritaPizza #FoodBlogger

Dirty Water Dough is a low frills place that makes a pretty darn good slice! The pizza comes out. pretty quick and the temp is just right! It's a thin crust pizza that holds up pretty good to the flop test and has a decent undercarriage, and the crust has a nice crunch. If i lived in Boston i'd probably make this spot a regular on my list. If you are on Newberry street in Back Bay give this place a shot!

This place has a cute vibe to it and it's great for grabbing a slice of pizza while shopping or walking in Newbury Street. The seating is pretty cute but it's definitely packed so it's not easy to find a spot to sit. But people are quick, so it's not a big problem. They don't have a lot of options but their pizza is pretty good. They sell some by the slice and some only as an entire pizza. We tried the chicken Alfredo, the cheese and the margarita and I'd say the margarita was definitely the best one, despite the minimal basil. The service, however, was not friendly.Overall, If I'm really craving pizza and I just so happen to be on Newbury street, I'd pass by to grab a slice to go.

Tasty thin crust pizza place. We ordered a large pie of margarita pizza and the three of us gobbled it up easily. Order at the counter then they bring your order out to you. Indoor and outdoor seating on Newberry. You can also get pizza by the slice here - bonus!

AWESOME PIZZA on Newbury St!!! Great food and so many unique flavors to choose from- I had such a hard time deciding. I opted for half Buffalo chicken and half veggie pizza-- both sides were great. I really enjoyed the goat cheese on the veg slices, it was a great compliment to the all the flavors. The Buffalo chicken was my favorite, though. The bleu cheese crumbles and dressing were amazing. I got it with no lettuce. Next time I'll try the Chicken Parm pizza, mac & cheese, or the Fenway. Would highly recommend getting takeout as lines can get a bit long and seating is limited and eating at the Public Gardens!

I popped in for a quick lunch and was surprised that a slice was $4! I got one slice of the BBQ and one slice of the Alfredo. My total was $8.80 which I thought was very affordable. My favorite was definitely the Alfredo though. For slices the options are more limited vs buying a whole pizza. They do have a $10 value option of two slices of pizza(cheese or pepperoni only), a bag of chips and a 20z drink. I recommend this place if you are looking for a quick bite in the Newbury street area.

If you are looking for a truly unique and authentic Boston-Style pizza, you have to give Dirty Water Dough a try! It is one of the best slices I've ever had, hands-down. Dirty Water was originally an ode to Boston's polluted Charles River. Pizza makers and residents alike turned to using beer to make pizza- given the water was too polluted to drink. The pizza here is top-notch. The dough is made using their in-house, Dirty Water IPA. They also hand-stretch their dough. The dough is super thin, yet crispy. It isn't too heavy and it isn't too airy. It is JUST right. Dirty Water has a solid selection of unique, "speciality" pizzas. The cool part: each location has unique offerings. If you're more of a purist, they do have all the classic/traditional options. They will happily make any pizza into a calzone for a small up-charge. They have a generous selection of additional ingredients to make your pie exactly how you want it. Their traditional dough is egg, dairy, and nut free. They also offer gluten-free options and vegan cheese! In addition to pizza, they have a solid selection of sandwiches, salads, and a huge selection of in-house, bottled beverages. We added a few of their craft beverages to our order. The lemonades are phenomenal and come in glass bottles. You must add one (or multiple) to your order! Given this was our first visit, we decided to go with a classic: Pepperoni. Our pie was made with shredded mozzarella, house red sauce, pepperoni, and Romano cheese. Toppings and cheese coverage was on point- no skimping here. No issues with toppings or cheese sliding off. The tough decision was choosing the right size. They offer two options: 12" or 18". From experience at most places, 12" is typically meant for a single person. That said, we went with the 18". The pizza was absolutely ginormous. I smirk a bit thinking about how the delivery folks fit the box into their car. The pizza was delivered piping-hot and it was in perfect condition- no issues with cheese or toppings sliding around during transport. The pepperoni was plentiful and the sauce was just right: not too sweet and not too acidic. I am very particular when it comes to the sauce on my pizza. The pizza dough itself was incredibly thin, yet crispy. The slice can easily be "folded" and eaten like a NY slice. Despite being so thin, the crust easily supports the cheese and toppings without flopping on you. I typically am the person to toss the crust. Not here! The crust is incredibly light and goes perfectly with a side of their house-made ranch. It is genuinely the best I have had, it is well worth the small up-charge! I look forward to ordering from Dirty Water Dough company again. I am originally from Chicago and we take our pizza seriously. This is one of the best slices on the East Coast. Easily the best slice I have had since moving to Boston! My only recommendation would be is to offer a "middle ground" between the 12" and 18" sizes. We ordered the 18" and could only have two slices each before we were stuffed! The slices are ginormous! I wish they would indicate on their menu how many slices come in each size pizza. We would've likely gone with the smaller 12" and added on a fresh salad. I am sure others have encountered this when the pizza arrived! The slices are HUGE. Luckily, we will have left-overs for lunch tomorrow! I look forward to ordering here again and on the regular! I cannot wait to try their "Mediterranean" speciality pizza next visit! If you have a craving for a Boston-style slice, you have to give Dirty Water Dough a try! You won't be disappointed. I wish I had tried it sooner! My new go-to for a solid pie in Boston!

I've been very curious about this spot and finally got the chance to visit. Their pizzas are $3 ($4 for all except cheese) which isn't too bad especially when you see how big they are and how filling one slice is. It's definitely a casual spot with not much seating but it seems to be fine considering how many pickup and to go orders I saw in just an hour. There is one person at the cashier who takes your order and she seemed helpful. Then, you'll spot in the back about 3-4 other people working on the pizzas. My favorite pizza is the BBQ Chicken one which just slaps for some reason. Now let me also point out I'm not crazy about pizza. I end up usually getting some with a group because it is the easiest and this occurs just a handful of times a year. The pizza was pretty good though the pizza makers on a mission to deliciousness. Though, nothing will beat $1 slices at any local pizza place in brooklyn. This boston style pizza has a thin crust which I think I prefer because you are not just tasting sauce but you can really taste the bread. One of my many favorite meals, snacks or treats, it takes many forms. I had just two slices and was feeling satisfied which was shocking for me. Like they really said you will leave feeling content. Then, I also had to try one of their drinks so I got one of their dirty water sodas flavored lemon rickey. It is mad sweet and I felt like a child again, just do yourself a favor and don't check the sugar content. The boxes for the large pizza are SO big. It was a bit longer than a lot of boston doors so I was struggling a little bit getting out. I had leftovers the next day and somehow the pizza tasted even better. That's when you know it's good.

Dirty Water has always been my go-to pizza spot whenever I'm shopping on Newbury Street. They consistently serve up thin slices with a variety of rotating flavors throughout the week. The crust is always perfectly crispy, and the toppings are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients with great flavor.I've never been disappointed when I stop by, and I genuinely believe this is the best pizza on the street. It's a great spot to grab a quick bite, and if you're lucky enough to snag a window seat, it's also perfect for people-watching. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!
