Good traditional spot for dim sum in town. Classic, not too fancy, no frills spot. The food was exactly what we were wanting and really good. Fast service as well and staff was decent. Wasn't busy on a week day.

BE WARNED: they say they're open till 8PM on Sunday -- they are NOT. They close at 3PM; this obviously isn't advertised on their website nor in store. My friend and I came here for a late, 2:30 lunch, and realized something was up when they started rushing our order, and the carts of dim sum disappeared swiftly at 2:45. 6 plates, two sodas, and $50 later, I left hungry, disappointed, and robbed.

Decent dimsum close to where I live. They have most of the essentials. The buns are pretty good, the turnip cakes were a little plain, the fried taro was kept in the fridge for too long; you could taste that it wasn't fresh. My boyfriend's dad had the Mongolian beef, which was very tasty. My boyfriend had the mango chicken, which was both sweet and savory. Both entrees were relatively high quality.Service was okay. They brought us forks for my dining partners, but the first two brought over were extremely dirty. After I told them I wasn't going to eat the fried taro, they went ahead and remade it without extra cost. I was pleasantly surprised that they did, which is why I'm going for four stars. The ambiance is only okay as well. I do worry for this business though.

Popped in after work on day after their 5 o'clock reopening. Only a couple tables. My order was taken quickly and food also came out quickly in waves which I didn't mind. I wanted to give my favorites a try and they didn't disappoint. First out (rather quickly I might add) was the bbq pork buns and they were super hot so give em a second if you ever get them. Next out was the fried rice which was good but nothing crazy. Finally the mango chicken and pork and shrimp dumplings. Both hot and fresh. I very much enjoyed the dumplings. There's just something about a good dumpling that hits the spot. I've never had mango chicken before but it was also very good. Nice tender chunks of chicken and honestly more chicken than I expected. Overall I was pleased with my trip. Everything was delicious and fresh. If I return back to Cary for work I'll be sure to stop in again so I can give their dim sum menu another whirl.

Ordered take out so spent very little time in the restaurant. It was nice not very busy the individuals I encountered picking up my food very and the service was quick. The online ordering platform was easy to use and my order was correct when I picked it up. Total pickup time maybe 5 minutes. Food is good, fair priced and the portions are the as most places. Ordered Mango chicken which was good not overly sweet like some places. Kungpao chocked good fave with just the amount of kick. I like it hot but flavorful which is what I got. Shrimp fried rice shrimp was good (plump and fresh) had good flavor . Enjoyed the good will definitely return.

Definitely isn't going to ever be considered for best dim sum in US, but is it the best dim sum in NC? That remains to be seen.We came for Saturday lunch. About half the restaurant was filled, so the ambiance was a bit relaxed. Service isn't bad at all. Did not have to wait for anything they just came right up with the carts. Your average price is probably around 30$ per person so it's on the pricier side. Food is decent. If authentic dim sum is an A then I'd give this dim sum a B, maybe B-. I don't often crave dim sum but I wouldn't mind coming here once, maybe twice a year to satisfy my cravings.

Came and n for Friday charming dim sum restaurant tucked away in the bustling streets of Chinatown. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm ambiance and the enticing aroma of freshly steamed dumplings. The menu offered an impressive array of dim sum delicacies, ranging from classic staples to innovative twists on traditional favorites. Each dish was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's skillful craftsmanship and attention to detail.I started with the steamed shrimp dumplings, which were tender and succulent, with a burst of freshness in every bite. The barbecue pork buns were another highlight, with pillowy soft buns encasing savory-sweet filling that melted in my mouth. As I explored the menu further, I was delighted to discover unique offerings such as the crispy taro puffs, which were crispy on the outside and delightfully creamy on the inside. The custard-filled egg tarts were also a revelation, with a delicate pastry crust and a luscious custard filling that was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy.Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met and every dish arrived promptly. The ambiance was lively yet relaxed, with the sound of clinking teacups and lively chatter adding to the convivial atmosphere. In summary, my experience at Jade Palace was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and inviting ambiance made it a dining experience to remember. Whether you're a dim sum aficionado or a first-time diner, I wholeheartedly recommend Jade Palace for a culinary journey that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more.

I'm writing this review and hopes that the owners or management see this to make some necessary changes. The good news is that we went there for Dim Sum on a Saturday morning and the food was excellent and so were the options. I did not check my bill although reading previous post maybe I should have to make sure I was charged properly it seems about right but could have been off, but that's not major concern right now.The main issues, and I believe these could be corrected in a weekend, is that the place is filthy. I feel fine right now so I hope that is only in the dining room and bathroom and not the kitchen.1. Bathroom - mens room is gross. The wall separating the toilet from the urinal is, on the urinal side, rusted and bubbled. Clearly from the location this is from being pissed on for years.Replace it.The rest of the bathroom could use some deep cleaning.2. The light fixtures hanging down over the restaurant I have clearly never been cleaned. You can see the dust all over the top of them. One of them is even broken in half right by the bathrooms, so you can see it's just Jagged glass hanging down.3. Ceiling vents are caked with dirt. get a ladder and a spray bottle and clean it. I'm pretty sure that all the framed pictures around the restaurant are in the same condition. Furthermore, the ceiling where they meet the wall have excessive and visible from afar dust and webs.4. The ceiling tiles, many of them are warped or water stained or whatever stain is on it. I'm not going to assume I know what it they're from.5. The wall next to where we were sitting clearly had some repairs done to it and those repairs were painted over with mismatched paint. There's definitely paint peeled off and missing and some of the repairs like covering drywall screws are in need of re-repair. They might as well repaint all the walls so they're at least one color and fresh.Given the visible and obviously neglected routine cleaning, I would not be surprised if under the tables and chairs were in similar condition and I would not want to touch the floors with my bare hands. Just in case. I really don't want to think about the kitchen condition although that should definitely be priority in any food establishment.I'm giving two stars because of the food alone despite the questionable cleanliness of the kitchen, but missing three stars because of the cleanliness of the dining room and the bathroom.I really like dim sum, I really like the food, and we do not have many options for this in the triangle so I really hope management sees this because this could be an amazing place and a great food option.
