Dickie-Do's Bbq

Delish !!! Ordered Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich and sides. Stopped on way up to Chapel Hill for football game on a Saturday and disappointed to discover no longer a restaurant. Apparently M-F catering and food truck orders only. Saturdays meat market and sides for take out. Pork Sandwiches 11-2. Worth the experience anyways and of course had to buy a tee shirt to commemorate stopping in!!

Sorry, but Dickie Don't. Maybe this is the flavor choice for others, but not for me. First, the state on their website that they are Alamance's only "True Que" restaurant,wgich may be true, but when we ordered, the food was.... meh. I mean it was edible, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Smithfield is better in my opinion. I guess it is a question of taste preference.Service was fine, and everyone was nice. This could be a good comparison restaurant for you. Good luck.

I didn't particularly like the BBQ here but other customers did. It was too bland for me. I won't go back but that's just my palette it has to have good flavor cooked in it.

The best BBQ in Alamance County. Service is top notch. Ambiance is perfect for this great family owned BBQ restaurant.

I will say the staff was very sweet and friendly. The lady that took our order was very patient and helpful as I wanted to purchase some merchandise. The food unfortunately was not as awesome as I'd hope it would be. The fries were really cold and didn't taste fresh at all. It wasn't crispy or salted so that was quite disappointing, the hushpuppies were alright, were fried well and were filling. The beans were decent, had a nice sweetness to it, the brisket was slightly tough. The sauce we dipped it in def made it better and softer but had expected more. Overall nice, cozy spot but wish the food had lived up to my expectations.

You cannot beat the quality, prices and service. Everything was on time, well organized, plentiful and delicious. There were no concerns or complaints. They are the best in Haw River and that's coming from a Texas girl!

Family of 3 at e for $33.00. LOVE the BBQ! You've got to do the rib tips and try the "meet me in the middle" sauce. (Note: Rib Tips are the edges - I think - but what makes them so good is that they are very fatty - the char is on all edges - lremember ladies - fat is where the flavor is!) Updated review because they've updated the dining room with new tables and chairs. Still have a nice outside place to sit. Super folks! Great food!

All I buy from this restaurant is the pulled barbecue for our family events. It is really tasty and they give us a generous amount of sauce to pour over the barbecue. The staff is very friendly and the inside of the restaurant is clean. Our orders have always been cooked in a timely manner. The Brunswick stew is amazing and we love to eat it. Be sure to try out the Brunswick stew. This is a locally owned company and not a corporate company like Smithfield or some of the others.

Expensive and not that good. Falls flat in my book. I went once, was not impressed and have never gone back. I cannot explain or understand the good reviews this place gets.
