Dichos Taqueria

This place is closer to a 4.5 stars for me. The food was delicious minus the corn, but don't let that stop you from trying this place. The Horchata was refreshing, but slightly sweeter than I expected it to be. The service was ok for me. I felt like there was a slight language barrier, so service felt a little slow for me. The restaurant was not too loud and great for friends and families to join for a fair price meal.

Great place! Great food!!! They give you chips and salsa and that's a plus. The service is great, they are very friendly!! Ambiance is very chill, and relaxing! Everytime we come to the thrift store close by, we stop here and there's no regrets!The food is the closest to authentic Mexican food, they have so much to choose.

Saw this place on Houston Local. What a great experience. Very clean and friendly people. They also help you order with some recommendations of their favorites. My wife had a quesadilla. It was good and had fresh ingredients. My daughter had chicken street style tacos. She enjoyed the charred bits of the end of the chicken as well as the charred onions that came with it. She said the green sauce was full of flavor and was a medium hot. I ordered a torta by recommendation of our waiter. The torta came with pastor meat, beans, guacamole, lettuce and tomato. The outside of the torta was slightly grilled to add texture to the bread. I would definitely try the torta. Overall this place was pretty good. Fast friendly service and the people were nice

They have some great food i couldn't complain service are nice and I'll be happy to eat there again

Their aguas frescas are so good! Like that you can pick other sides besides rice & beans. Their corn tortillas are so good! Good service, everyone is nice.

Our coworker from Jalisco, Mexico has been saying that he couldn't find Ahogadas here in Houston. I was like that is impossible, its got to be somewhere. So the journey actually took us many years to find it here at Dichos. Thanks to Chris Shepherd's Eat like a Local show able to find the dish. Ahogada is basically a wet torta, I know it doesn't sound the greatest of a soggy sandwich, but let me tell you it works here. Now for my fellow coworker who descends from Jalisco, he gave it a 6/10, which for us just trying it for the first time it was more like an 8/10. I even had one coworker who never really eats out said next time we go we need to take him after we let him have a sample.Fideo con Pollo - does not skimp on the chickenTacos - can't remember which all I got, but seemed a bit too greasy/oily for me. Decent flavor though.Parking - Plenty

Listennnn! When I lived in Houston, I ate here every morning!! The mega breakfast tacos and those burritos??*chefs kiss*. The cheese is always cheesy and the meat is always seasoned so well. If you're looking for some fire Mexican food for breakfast, go here lol I'm sure the lunch/dinner is also good but that breakfast is fireeeee!

Always very good food and service at reason price. For my taste, standouts are tortilla soup, fideo soup, chiluquiles with mole sauce, eggs and chichirons with tomatillo sauce tacos, and pork belly tacos.

Ordered menudo and it had no hominy. Then found bones that I bit into. Yeah, no I don't recommend.

The food was packaged with no regard to damaging food. a Taco Salad was in an open container and the tortilla shell was broken. 6 Street Chicken Tacos, the container was open and smashed into food smearing on to cheese making it stick to top of styrofoam. Charro Beans were cold and liquid spilled out making bean dry. The guacamole was also in bent and broken container. When I called the woman said she used the bag she had available. She didn't apologize but said "I could have used the bigger bag but it fit in the small bag". Horrible! Awful! Terrible! A waste of money and inedible food and Nasty Customer Service
