Loved it and can't wait to go back! Even fries were good and I had to get a chocolate shake which was excellent. The interior is nice with lots of seating and you order at the counter. Hot dogs today and burgers tomorrow! It's all good!

Hot dog was good, but all of the chili fell out after the first bite. Tots were cooked perfectly. BBQ sliders had a tiny amount of meat and what I thought was homemade cole slaw was plain cabbage.

The food was good. My stepmom and I ordered the Detroit Coney Dogs, which came with chili, onion, and mustard. The hotdog was a little on the rubbery side at the edges, but they weren't bad. The restaurant is pretty big, encompassing a diner, bar, and covered outdoor seating area. There are also large tellies if you're interested in sports, and the atmosphere is fun for a group. It's got that roadside diner decor in a trendy space that appeals to everyone.Service was good; the grille was pretty busy with long lines, but the staff are friendly. They give you a number and bring out your food.A good experience with a decent price. Would recommend if you're in the mood for coneys.

A little less delightful experience this time. The food was still very good so they remain on the 'I'd return' list but the restaurant itself needed some attention. The available tables weren't clean and the self serve drink area could use a good wipe down. The outside trash cans are overflowing and unfortunately there were multiple flies in the restaurant. Swatting flies while trying to enjoy a good meal does not make for a five star experience. But... the service was friendly and, like I said, the food was really good and it was delivered to our table with extreme efficiency. Seriously it was maybe seven minutes from the time we ordered until we were eating. Still plenty of good in this establishment and it wouldn't take much to get that fifth star back.

Really like this place, took my dad here since we're originally from Detroit. He loves all the decor!!He said mush Swiss burger was good, I had a good salad. Prices are high for a burger with no side ($13) but it's a fun experience. We'd go back.

I like this place, cool kinda retro vibe cross between old Skool burger joint meets local hangout bar mash up. There was a huge group get together amongst locals at the bar, when I went to order. Guy at the register taking orders was super friendly & helpful. This was my first visit & extensive menu that all sounded Bottled root beer really tasty. But the burgs are where it's at. Smashed burg style patties that gets crispy around the edges while the rest is tender & juicy and the toppings are Amazing! I'll be going back, hands down probably THE best place for burgers for me.

The resort corridor of Scottsdale is filled with some highly rated (and expensive) restaurants, but I struggled to find a place for lunch that would be both quick and somewhat reasonable with regards to cost. Since it was several miles to fast food and fast casual eateries, I found Detroit Coney Grill, which seemed to fit the bill, and checked off the box for a local independent business rather than a chain. This eatery is quite unique, set up in a more fast casual layout with counter ordering, but also had a hybrid indoor/outdoor bar with a bartender serving you. It had a sports bar vibe with Detroit Tigers sports theming and decorations throughout the place, including a push pin map for visitors to identify where in the Detroit vicinity they are from. There were some signs about them having won burger awards and an explanation about the origins of the Coney dog (not being from Coney Island in NY, but rather from Michigan).Since I wasn't overly hungry and was grabbing my meal to go, I went with a crispy chicken sandwich without any sides. On looks, the chicken didn't look all that great, but it turned out to be pretty decent quality and tasted great. The chipotle aioli did add some heat, but I wasn't the biggest fan of it. The bun seemed like a higher quality brioche bun rather than a run of the mill bun you see at most similar places. While it was more expensive than fast food, it was definitely cheaper than most of the sit down restaurants in the area. Most importantly, food was tasty, so I'd recommend Detroit Coney Grill to those looking for an affordable lunch option in the resort area of Scottsdale.

Food was great! Wish it was a bit bigger. But my fatty self should probably not be complaining. Hehe! Service was fantastic. The lady who helped us, was so nice and sweet. She was very patient with us. It was our first time there and the menu was big and got overwhelming for my kids. Everything came out fresh, hot, and delicious. The bar area was packed with people and lots of TVs. It was loud but we didn't mind it. The area we ate at was more chill. Had tvs also but wasn't as loud. Will definitely be back again. I love a good service!
