We didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat us at the bar! The restaurant is located in a warehouse but they did a great job with lighting and decor.Oh, Miso Honey Cocktail - a phenomenal blend of flavors, citrusy and not too sweet, highly recommend Whiskey flight - my friend who is a big fan of whiskey really enjoyed thisSalmon oshizushi - the highlight of the night, very decadent seared salmon, have to order multiple roundsWe also tried a variety of speciality nigiri and temaki and each one was truly impeccable.

Wow had such an amazing experience sitting at the sushi bar for omakase!! Incredible quality of fish, some of best in Denver, and most bites are carefully paired with complementing flavors. Crème fraiche salmon nigiri and blue cheese tuna nigiri were two great examples of this. As my partner and I are newer in our adventures with trying new fish, and variety can be hard to come by in Denver, we were thrilled with the omakase having us try so many amazing new bites. From hand rolls to aburi to special nigiri it was all phenomenal and will be back soon! Also I found the omakase to be reasonably priced as it is not a set menu and they just guide you through their top items that pair well together and have options to modify or stop at any time!

The ambiance was great but I cannot say the same for the food. The staff was friendly though. The salmon skin temaki tasted salty and looked like it was cooked in old oil. The wagyu temaki tasted like over marinated Korean Bulgogi meat. The aged negitoro was just seared tuna and nothing special. The salmon aburi nigiri did not taste fresh. The only three dishes I truly enjoyed was the house salad l, the miso soup, and the ootoro simple nigiri. this place came highly rated but it did not live

I loved loved this place! We got to sit at the bar and the service they provided was super attentive. My friend really enjoys their happy hour and I have to say it's quite good for the quality of hand rolls. The place is in a market hall, so there's other places in the area, but this place most definitely will not disappointed. It's in an old building with some tables and bars giving it a rustic dark vibe. It's very clean and busy in temaki den, so I think reservations would be wise.

New York City quality sushi (top tier) with fair prices. Friendly staff. The seared sushi selections (aburi) were outstanding with clever seasonings. Hand rolls were wrapped in crispy nori and everything was really fresh. Superb execution. Will be back!

Temaki Den is GOATED. Admittedly, I've only been during happy hour, but that is a big appeal for this place if you're looking for QUALITY sushi at a good price. As the name implies, the Temaki sets are a specialty. I love how they break them into sets of 3,4, or 5. Good way to fill everyone's appetite level. The red shrimp and blue crab are my favorites. I also love the chicken Karaage! Be prepared the wait for your food as they are busy and you can't rush perfection. The rolls will come coursed out as they are made. Pretty classy feel to the whole place, even from the bar top seating. Excited for my next TD sesh.

We were wandering around downtown a little hungry for a snack and stumbled across Temaki Den in a reclaimed industrial looking building next to a hotel. We had just had Sushi Den the night before and was expecting a similar vibe but we were blown away by Temaki Den!As with Sushi Den and all the Dens I presume, it gets busy so make sure you have a reservation. We did not have a reservation but we were hanging around waiting for 4:30pm and we snagged a table in the back. We mostly got the temakis but also the seaweed salad and some nigiri. Since all the Dens use the same fish that is flown in, all the food was very fresh. They wrap their handrolls differently than Sushi Den and it does in fact keep the roll very fresh as you finish rolling it upon delivery to your table. The seaweed was super crisp and I did not have any difficulty biting through the seaweed when taking multiple bites of the temaki.I have been thinking about Temaki Den since we had it and I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu and even the omakase.

Best sushi in Denver, by a landslide. The Miso soup is authentic and the way you want it, not too hot not too cold. Cucumber roll is hydrating and delicious. Their cocktails are always great. The ambiance is very family style with the way that is open and community based - a wouldn't say it's a hidden gem but I'm always surprised at how many people I meet that have never been. Happy hour deals are amazing. Any of the wagyu and steak options are a must try at least once. My personal favorite is the Negitoro Tuna Temaki. If you're in Denver do not miss out on this place I'm from Oregon and this is some of the best sushi I've had which was surprising given the fact we are in Colorado. Been going for two years now and will continue to be a regular.

Wow! I'm not sure where to start. I have eaten a lot of japanese food in my life, and I've never experienced a meal like this. We chose the Omakase style meal, and the entire staff blew us away. The food was absolutely amazing, but the most unique part was how informative each staff member was every time they brought us a new piece of sushi. They accommodated our table's dislikes and food aversions throughout the entire meal. I cannot wait to return the next time we are in town.
