Tacos Selene

Born and Raised in Houston, Texas I will always miss the fact you can find a Taqueria that makes you feel like your Abuelita just made your tacos. Well that's how Tacos Selene makes you feel! While the Ambience lacks that warm welcome (you order tacos, find a clean table or order to go), the food is great! The Menudo was on point with spices and a little kick in broth and you can even order it with a Patita (I didn't)! The Barbacoa tacos were amazing and Sopas were also good! Beought it home and This was a treat for the family on Sunday morning!!

Great street tacos! Reasonably priced, friendly wait staff. Not fancy, but if you want delicious tacos and a cane sugar Coke, check this place out!

No frills place, and no real customer service help or charm, but the food is incredible. My son devoured his carne asada burrito. I did the same to my tacos. Their salsa bar is stacked with fresh, delicious sauces and gorgeous pickled veggies.

I don't know if I stumbled in the hood but everyone knows that hood food is usually the best and today was Taco Tuesday!! $2.00 a taco, which I had 5 tacos. 2 carne asada, 2 chicken, and 1 al pastor. They had a salsa bar and I like to mix up the hottest hot sauce with the mildest one to give flavor to the taco. I really enjoyed my tacos and the price, the atmosphere not so much. It felt like the restaurant had never seen a beautiful black woman before and it showed with the staring from staff and patrons. With that being said, we got our order to go and we both enjoyed our meal. Thank you for the good food not so much for the service. My rating is based on the food only because if it were the other part it would've been a negative star.

Muy yum! Our friends have raved about this place so we decided to give it a try. We were slightly hangry and it did not disappoint. Authentic, delicious, and quick. The place was packed with customers. We will be back.

I love Tacos Selene and will continue to love this place as long as I live. I've been going here since I was in high school and they've always been consistent and they have grown so much and have multiple locations now. Their tacos are always good and freshly made and their quesadilla is good as well. I always bring my friends here and they all have loved it. My favorite tacos here are the asada(steak) and the barbacoa, their lengua(tongue) is good as well, don't be afraid to try it! You may like it. Their salsa bar is great and I love the assortment they have of the salsas so it fits anyone's taste! Give them a try!

Arguably one of the best street tacos I've had so far here in Colorado. I had this for lunch on Friday at the suggestion of my coworker. I did not however, get to experience going into the restaurant myself to get the entire experience since I was overwhelmed with tasks after tasks at work. I got 4 carne asada tacos with extra cilantro and onion. I also got horchata to go with my food because the sweetness of the drink perfectly balanced out the salty spicy flavor of the tacos and salsa. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The meat were cooked nice and juicy. I loved that they had 4 different types of salsa for your tacos. 2 different types of salsa verde. One had more green Chile in it than the other. And 2 different kinds of salsa roja. The lighter red salsa is tangy and great flavor while the darker red one is spicy, a bit grainy, and not really much of a flavor to it just spice. The horchata had a perfect balance of sweetness. Not too bland or too sweet.The next time I'm craving some tacos I'm definitely coming here again.

Tacos!! I would eat here everyday!!Looking for some amazing and not crazy expensive here is the place!! All the meats are delicious and the sauces are amazing!!Carne asada, carnitas, al pastor, barbacoa y lengua!!!!

My child was hospitalized at the nearby children's hospital and I stumbled across this gem during our week long stay. Needless to stay this place offered legit Mexican food. There's no frills but the food and the service is excellent. They provided a source of comfort during a difficult time. I visited daily as a reprieve from the hospital and I tried just about everything on the menu. There wasn't anything I didn't like. I wish I took more photos.

Sopes 10/10 tacos de tripa 10/10 tortas 10/10 and quick services. I'm not from Colorado but all the reviews did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and the place was clean
