I got the spicy sundae soup and it was my first time trying this dish. Mindblown ! Spicy, peppery and flavorful. It came with the blood sausage and a variety of meat (I believe it's organs). The kimchi and radish served was a perfect pairing. Crunchy and refreshing.Tip - Don't be a FOB like me and ask them where the utensils are ... The waitress stared at me and then opened the drawer on the side of the table. Its like traditional Korean places where you self serve and get your own utensils ;) Nice and clean ambiance. They also pack your food for you if you have leftovers. It's all very well sealed by a clingwrap machine. Very professional!

I love this place! One of my favorite places for comfort Korean food. They have a great variety of stews and blood sausages. You can always tell if a korean place is good if their kimchi is good and this place has the best kimchi I've had in Denver so far!The service here has always been consistently great, friendly and my kimchi dish never goes empty. The portions here are great and we've tried the spicy stews and the bone broth stews and both were tasty. The restaurant is clean and large with lots of seating and tables available!

I loveeee some good soup. So if you're a fan of soups & Korean comfort food, you HAVE to try Moobongri ASAP! I've been here twice and tried the beef rib soup with glass noodles the first time (my favorite so far) and came back and had the Ox bone broth soup with glass noodles. They serve their dishes with a bowl of rice, kimchi, pickled radish & a soy sauce based sauce with pickled onions and jalapeños (best dipping sauce EVER!!!) The sauce is salty, sweet & tangy - so simple but sooo good!Don't miss out on this hidden gem near Hmart in Aurora! Can't wait to try the other dishes!

Moobongri is a chain from Korea and it's one of my favorites when it comes to getting some delicious soondae. I was really looking forward to their pork bone haejanguk but unfortunately they had run out that afternoon. So, I opted for their spicy soondae guk with a side of soondae. The soup was so rich and delicious and even their banchan of cabbage and radish kimchi were fantastic. It's always a great sign when you walk in a Korean restaurant and it is filled with Korean people speaking Korean. I absolutely loved promptness, efficiency and cleanliness of this restaurant. If I lived in Denver, this would definitely be on my monthly rotation. If you're looking to try some great Korean food that's a little more old school, please check this joint out and show the love!

The two ladies working were SO friendly! 10 stars for awesome service!Galbitang (short rib bone soup)Friend says she always gets this. Must be good. Dwaeji gook bap- Pork belly soup Very good broth, feels like they added milk or cream, but they swear no dairy product. So far, Hubby's lactose problem wasn't triggered (we just had lunch there) So it's awesome!!KimchiA tad on the sweeter side with msg for my taste, but still had like a whole plate by myself...Definitely worth a revisit.

I had the spicy pork belly soup and tteobokki. Kimchee and daikon were very good, like the soup. Friendly and fast service. Clean and tidy dining area. Good portions. I always have leftovers. I've also had the pork neck bone and a beef soup on previous visits. I'll look forward to trying the whole menu.

One of my favorite places to get Korean soup besides Silla and Woori. We really enjoy the Combination Soondae soup with the Pork Meat Sampler and Spicy Pork Belly Soup. Usually when I come here with a family member, I'll order 1 combo and the other person would pick whatever soup they want - we'd share the extra goodies. Really clean restaurant and maybe because we could be mistaken as appearing Korean, the ladies always spoke to us in Korean. (Thankfully for lots of K-drama I can understand some.) There are 2 different types of the blood sausages as I can tell, both of them are delicious. One is made with lots of glass noodle and the other does have more of a liver consistency mixed into the sausage casing. Where I grew up (East Asia and Latin America), we ate a lot of dishes made with offal so this was a treat as Denver can be a little dry when it comes to "specialty" Asian dishes. (Getting better though!)What makes this place a 5 star for me, not only for their soups - was their fresh kimchi. Not sour, not spicy, not salty.. just right for my palate. My brother is very picky when it comes to his kimchi, most places he'll eat 1 little leaf and call it good. This is the only place where he'll be down for more than a plateful of cabbage kimchis, which was shocking. This definitely is on my normal rotation for hot soups on a cold day, give them a try!

Hit the spot! The ban chan that came with everything was amazing. Perfectly fermented in my opinion. Soup was great on a cold day and combination of the Soondae was great. Can't wait to come back and try other thingsService was solid, as a team and not just one person taking care of you. Love those types of places. Very straight forward

I accidentally went into the wrong store for my late lunch. The restaurant I was supposed to eat at was next door but I opened the wrong one and ate here instead haha. Nevertheless, upon entrance I was immediately greeted and since there was only me and another family in the restaurant, I was told that I am able to choose my own table. Since it was my first time here, and I did not look at the menu beforehand, I didn't really know what to expect besides the fact that it was Korean food. I took a quick peak at yelp pictures and reviews and decided to get the original soondae since it was the first thing on the menu and I was also feeling something light today.First, I was served with some banchan (side dishes). There was kimchi, spicy pickled radish, and some type of small shrimp that I've never seen or eaten before. I thought it was odd that the table was not already preset with spoons and chopsticks but silly me, it was because they were hiding in the handy dandy pull out drawer on the side of the table. How cool is that? I took the courage and took a small bite of the microscopic shrimp and it didn't taste all that bad to be honest, but just a bit salty which I believe maybe you're supposed to eat it with the light broth that balances out the salty flavor. The kimchi flavor was good and I especially liked the radish. The food came out rather quickly and sizzling hot. I have never had soondae before so I didn't know what to expect. There were a lot of different ingredients mixed in the soup. Some I enjoyed more than others simply because there was this one sausage looking meat that wasn't meat? The texture was a bit weird to me and so was the flavor but I enjoyed everything else. Would definitely come here again whenever I'm craving soup on a cold day.

The restaurant is small but has ample seating. It was clean and simple decor. We were able to get seats right away on a Thursday night. The lady waitress was super friendly and gave us good advice since this was our first time. We ordered the oxtail broth soup and the spicy beef soup to share. Both soups were really bland. They gave us some sauces and other spices to add more flavor but no matter what I added, my oxtail soup just didn't have much flavor. It was good meat and noodles but very bland. We were able to get the spicy beef to have decent flavor but it was kind hard to get all the meat off the bones. We saw all the good reviews and maybe it was just our selection but the taste was just ok.
