Jade Cafe

This is my "go to" Asian food place in my neighborhood. I've been ordering food from here for 15 years now and I've always been impressed. The staff is pleasant, the food is hot and fresh and the price has always been reasonable. They do free delivery in the Bear Valley area and that is much appreciated. I wish they would open to dine in again but covid changed a lot of things. I will continue to order from this place. It's been same family owned since 1988. That's really cool in my opinion.

Love the combination fried rice. This place is really good Chinese food in the area. Service is prompt and efficient.

After moving to Lakewood semi-recently, I was on the hunt for a solid Chinese restaurant in my new area, and was so happy to discover Jade Cafe! Every time I have been, my food has been ready before I arrive, not to mention always so hot and fresh. They clearly don't have food sitting for hours at Jade Cafe, as it has always tasted like it is made to order. Their lunch specials and combo plates are a great deal as well. I really can't recommend Jade Cafe highly enough!

I just ordered delivery because a couple years ago when I had jade cafe it was so good. But this time I had to throw my whole order away. I honestly could get past the utter blandness of the food but I cannot get past the chicken. It was very rubbery and stringy. I will say though, that the workers were very nice on the phone and during delivery!

This place is pretty great, the food is good, the servers are nice, the service speed is very fast, and the prices are really good. I do bike around Bear Creek a lot and this place was close by, so I tried it out and ordered the Sesame Chicken Lunch, it was good, the fried rice and egg roll were good and while the sesame chicken had a little too much breading it still tasted good. Only major complaint I have is the interior isn't the best, there are boxes everywhere, but this place is takeout only anyway so that isn't a huge issue.

I asked specifically for general Tao's chicken since I didn't see it on the menu. He said they don't serve it as a combination plate which is an entree, rice and egg roll. So I made a joke about 'that's how you get us'. We laughed. Then he said...it's because of how we make it. Made me want it even more because now it's special. I said cool...give me that AND an order of rice. Made my own combo. 10 bucks for the rice. I get home...NO GENERAL TAO's. I just spent 40 bucks for my wife's sesame chicken, some lo mien and my EXTRA order of rice. Could have just spent 3 more dollars for the actual general Tao's entree WHICH COMES WITH RICE. Now I'm at my airbnb with no general chicken and a huge pile of rice after tipping the dude and driving 2 hours from the mountain and then 30 min to where I'm staying. So yeah...thats def how he got me. Even walked back in and tipped the dude personally for the cool conversation before I left....should have checked the bag I guess. Why would I make a big deal about the chicken and not want it? Lame af.

Great food and easy to order/pick up. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. I will certainly continue to order from this restaurant.

Horrible food, they cook it ahead of time and heat it up. The deep fried food tours out to be way way over cooked. I had sweet and sour shrimp, the shrimp was tougher than jerky. They replaced my shrimp but it was the same shrimp jerky, save your money go somewhere else. They only got 2 stars bc the Crab wontons were very good, thats it

I placed an order for beef and broccoli no taste what so ever2 orders of general tso chicken (spicy)Had so much breading couldn't taste anything but breading no chicken taste asked for spicy no spice at all Wontons had very little taste and looked like they had been re cooked, This place use to be good, not sure what happened, won't be ordering from here again A huge waste of $60.00 plus dollarsIf I could give less then 1 star I most definitely wouldOnly drive up service
