"Nepalese cuisine? A lot of what is on the menu is similar to Indian food, but there are some items that I have not seen elsewhere. First off, you can have yak meat in many of the dishesIt is worth noting that Tarkari is basically a curry dish and daal is the same lentil soup that you'd find at many Indian restaurants. So, Daal Bhat Tarkari is a set meal that consists of lentil soup, rice, and curry. Apparently, this is a national dish of Nepal. One of our fellow diners got this and it looked very good. He was happy with his choice. As with many places, they offer several spice levels, depending on your preference. The momo (dumplings) are a traditional street food and are a nice way to start the meal, though not really required since the dinner portions are generous. Of our group, most people ordered either a curry or a vindaloo at various levels of spiciness and meats ranging from chicken to yak. Yak is mostly like beef to me, and at a high spice level, it was difficult to tell the difference. I think everyone enjoyed their meals as the plates were clean at the end of the meal. We ate in the "garden" area outside and it was nice. They seem to allow pets in that area. I'd like to eat inside next time since on our way through, it looked to be very interestingly decorated. The service was good throughout the meal, although once our plates were cleared, it seemed like we were forgotten and we had to just about grab a server to get them to let us pay. They were pretty busy, but I'd think you'd want to turn a table to get more people in faster. I recommend a reservation, especially if there is something going on at the nearby school or if you have more than a few people in your party. Either that or be ready to wait for a while."
"Came here on a weeknight and it was pretty empty. After some deliberation, I got jhol chicken momos. It came with 8 momos with decent filling and good wrapper/filling ratio. I was VERY full after my meal! I wasn't the biggest fan of the special bajeko sekuwa sauce but my friends were and drank up every last bit so your mileage can vary! My friends got the roganjosh, butter chicken masala, palak paneer, and mixed chow mein and enjoyed them all! Naan also was good! Portions were big for everything (proportionate to the price since the prices were on the higher end). While the price is on the higher end, the portion is fitting. Not the best Indian food I've had but good momos!! Service was kind of poor, they did not refill our water for awhile despite a pretty empty restaurant but that's just me being nit picky!"

I ordered level 4 spice which wasn't level 4 spice but I liked it. I thought the food overall was a bit bland. Pretty presentation though. I loved the naan."
"My husband and I have had the opportunity to taste Indian food over all the country, including Chennai, India. This place was excellent! We ordered the Pakora appetizer, which had shrimp, onions, green peppers, and chicken. It all was very tasty, the shrimp was cooked perfectly...which it is extremely difficult when something is deep fried. For our main course we ordered buttered chicken and chicken tiki masala, with rice, garlic naan and palak paneer. It was phenomenal! Everything tasted fresh, and the dish had a perfect blend of spices. It is near little part of Brighton that has a few other non chain restaurants and a nice theater. I highly recommend checking this place out."
"I've been to the other South Broadway location and this has the same menu. I'd call the menu huge! So many options and so many meat/non-meat options for the dishes. I've honestly never seen so many choice at an Indian restaurant before! It will surely please everyone with such variety. Just give yourself time for perusing so much. The drink prices are excellent here. I tried a Chai Martini, it was sweet and tasty if that's your thing. I am glad they opened a spot on 6th St, so much closer to me and right by The Esquire. So, if you're checking out a movie there, this is the perfect before or after spot!My last meal I swapped out the beloved paneer with tofu in my palak/saag just because I already had so much cheese that day and I was so surprised how great it was! The tofu really took on a similar taste and texture of the paneer I typically get! Also, if you like samosas but want to try an amped up version, try the samosa chat! Many places do offer this, so I was excited to see it and have it again. See my pic of it! The food is great here and it will be a place I go to often that is for sure."
"I've never had Tibetan food and had always wanted to try Momos. This place was super affordable and delicious. We ordered the sampler momos, and you can pick any combination of chicken, beef, and vegetarian. The chicken momos were my personal favorite. The chutney it came with is pretty spicy, but pairs super nicely. I ordered 3 dishes, including the dinner special, and it totaled to $26.50. I'd recommend sitting on their patio because the inside is a bit cramped."
"Family owned business I think, newly opened. We tried it for the first time today, got takeout chicken tikka masala and butter chicken, both were really good. Authentic and flavorful, not overwhelmingly creamy. Each order came with a side of rice, standard price range ($18-22 per main dish). We also ordered garlic naan (can't go wrong), and I think they included a free rice pudding dessert. Staff was super friendly, we like supporting local businesses so will go back and try dining in next time! Interior - Looks like there is a big bar to sit at with a couple TVs playing sports, along with spacious dining area. I think the windows all open to the outdoor too which will probably be nice in when the weather gets warm again."
"World class Indian food. The best lamb masala ever. I come here every time I travel. The naan is light and amazing. A true find."
"3.5 stars. Customer service was fantastic when I came here with a group of friends to explore the Indian/Nepalese buffet. There were a few things I really liked off the buffet, especially the Vegetarian Korma (which is surprising for a meat eater!) and I mostly appreciated the wide selection. We ordered momo's on top of that. I want to try the beer at this location next time. It was a decent time, but I think this place is overhyped overall!"
"Great restaurant with friendly people and yummy food. Been here and ordered takeout several times. I usually always order saag paneer (palak paneer) when I go to Indian/Nepalese restaurants. The one they have here is really good and I love getting hot. The butter chicken, vindaloo, and tikka are also good options. Not crowded at all on a Friday night. We got cheese garlic naan for the first time and I couldn't really tell the difference between that one an normal garlic naan. Good ambiance overall."
"Finally made it here! Of course the garlic naan is incredible. Of course the butter chicken is outrageously good (like, licking my plate good). I also really enjoyed the tandoori wings (best priced wings in town I bet) and the Bombay potatoes! The Bombay potato dish is large enough to share with at least 3 other people if not more. We sat at the bar. Our server was attentive and friendly. And the food was very quick to the table. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes! But, butter chicken will have to be included every time, because IT IS DREAMY!"

It's not every day one can sample Nepalese cuisine, and Sherpa House Restaurant is dripping with charm and character. You'll see that the rooms of the house incorporate the culture as you walk through. So many artifacts - it's almost like an antique store. The patio is gorgeous with trees, fountains and flags for shade. I wasn't very hungry, so I had a cup of chicken soup. It was very flavorful and filled with large chunks of chicken and vegetables. They did not phone this version in. I ordered some garlic naan to accompany the soup, and it was a showstopper! Absolute perfection. My husband and son enjoyed their chicken curry and chicken vindaloo, and the table shared some chicken momo. (Yes, we went all out on the chicken that night!) This is a great place to visit in Golden.

I've visited twice now and both times did not disappoint!! It makes sense that they have so many 5 star reviews (yet they are still an unclaimed business on Yelp, ha!). They are focused on their food and service! During my first visit, we ordered more Indian dishes. And on my second visit, a Nepali friend ordered for the table so we got to try more Nepalese dishes including the Sekuwa (Chicken) which is what the restaurant is known for. Seems you can't go wrong with any of the dishes!! I especially love the curries and momos. They also have a nice drink and wine menu. Most wines are only $5 with a generous pour! And the ambiance is decorated beautifully with unique cultural elements. Definitely check them out!

The food was amazing! They were hosting a 150 person birthday party while we were here so the service was a bit slow but they were very friendly. The ambiance seems like an old converted cowboy buffet or something, but it was comfortable and there was plenty of space. I enjoyed our meal and would definitely like to come again. Thank you!

Go!!!Ignore the very temporary sign on the outside!Really good Indian/Nepalese cuisine. I like that they will spice it up so you can taste it....medium was good not crazy hot. Most customers were getting it low...so there you go.Portions are huge....this is such a huge plus I cannot scream it loud enough. The Lamb vindaloo was loaded with tender meat. The Tandoori chicken had so much chicken it lasted three days....and the quality was fantastic.Great veggie dishes.Great Naan.Pro Tip: Parking is a little tough so if you are picking up use the Safeway parking lot next door.

We stopped there why passing through Boulder as they were one of the few inexpensive places that had vegan options and I never had Tibetan food so was looking forward for my dinner. We arrived and it was already dark outside but we still decided to eat on the patio as the chairs inside were put up as they would be closing and it was very cold with the AC.I wish they had more lights outside as we had to eat almost in full dark...Staff was very friendly and they recommended few dishes. I had the Tsel Shamu with sautéed mushroom and zucchini with rice and had to try their steamed dumpling (tingmo). The curry was ok, it tasted very similar to a Polish dish called leczo so I was a little disappointed as I really was expecting some new, exciting flavors. The stemmed bun was very good. My husband got the beef curry - Shaptak with rice and he said it also had a similar flavor to Polish dish but at least it was spicy. Beef was a little tough. We also split vegetable Momos and they were good but far too much garlic was inside. The only flavor you could taste was garlic. I love garlic but this was a little too much. The dipping sauce was good. I read other reviews that the noodles are very good so maybe we just ordered wrong items...The portion size was very big, we ate half and took the rest for next day.

YUM. Super pleased with everything we ordered!! Extensive menu with lots of variety! Happy hour had a lot of great options so come early and get those delicious deals.

"When I visited family in January, we ordered food from here through Grub Hub. It was so good that I asked family to eat it again, and we went to the restaurant. The food is phenomenal. Great flavors and textures, multiple spice levels, Inside is cozy and charming with great Indian decor. The service is very attentive. We ordered lots of food for our group including the naan, pakora, samosas, and went with Chicken biryani, chicken korma, chicken vindaloo, and we washed it down with Taj beers. I also recommend Kheer, which is a tasty rice pudding that cools the palate when you are done.I will be back!"
"Went to this location on 6/29/24. Went here for dinner. First time to this location. Been to the location in Arvada but many years ago. Just recently realized there was a location up north which is awesome. This place has really good food and good beer. This location was smaller than the one in Arvada. Fun atmosphere. Very clean. Looked like they had 4 beers on tap and a few more in cans. The food is always good. The service was outstanding. On top of what we needed. Definitely recommend this place. Cheers!"
"The lunch buffet is back, hooray! It is laid out the way I remember from before COVID, with about a half dozen entrees and a half dozen sides, plus a cold table of fresh vegetables and kheer. They bring you fresh-baked naan while you are eating, as well as having naan on the buffet table. My favorite dish here is still the chicken tikka masala, which is one of the choices in the buffet. The buffet is available during lunch time (11-2 Tuesday through Friday) for $14.99."
"Did you know Gundruk means... pickled leafy vegetable! As the newest Indian and Nepalese restaurant in the Lafayette/Louisville area, it's definitely up-ing the ambiance game. It's a very clean, well-designed space with two rooms and a bar to potentially set in. We sat in the main room, which we found very pleasant. The main waitress was super helpful, cheerful and attentive. As it was our first visit, we leaned into her recommendations. It was much appreciation! We ordered: Fried Momo: 4.5 Stars Chefs Special Goat Curry: 4 StarsBainghan Bharta: 4 StarsGarlic Naan: 4 StarsGoing Back? Absolutely, I can't wait to try more classic dishes like Korma, Tikka Masala, Butter, Saag. We'd probably order the Fried Momo again. We were surprised how much we enjoyed these crispy starters!"
"Curry Kingdom an Indian Eatery is an Indian restaurant in Wheat Ridge. It's located off of 44th and Wadsworth near Walgreens.I'm slowly knocking off all my new neighborhood restaurants. I love me some Indian food and the craving kicked in over the weekend. I ordered through DoorDash and the food was ready for pickup in no time. The employee (maybe owner) was very polite. For a Friday night, the restaurant was completely empty. Maybe they hone in on the takeout side of the business? It's a fairly large space, so I felt bad seeing it empty.Luckily I live close by. The intoxicating smells of the food were tortuous after a long day without eating. I wanted the classics: curry, rice and naan. No more, no less.Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) // flakes of tandoor meat cooked with creamy butter sauce. When you order butter chicken, always get it with a little kick. A medium spice had a decent bite, but I wish I ordered hot. However, the curry was extremely flavorful. The chicken was fairly tender. The curry had big aromas of garlic and ginger and other spices. With garlic naan and basmati rice in tow, it made for a wonderful meal.I already know I'll be back to Curry Kingdom to work my way through the menu! Rumor has it they have a lunch buffet and who doesn't love an Indian buffet? First impressions are strong, even though this might be more of a takeout option than a dine in experience.Support our local restaurant scene!"
"I love Indian food and I really love this place. The staff here is so sweet and welcoming, and the menu here has a wider variety than other restaurants. There are lots of things here I've never tried and they are SO good. I love the navratna korma, which is paneer with vegetables and nuts. It was recommended by the staff and it was incredible. I loved the chai that came with it, too. My daughter had saag paneer, my husband had shrimp vindaloo, and we shared chicken momo and garlic naan. The garlic naan is amazing too--they are generous with the garlic, so you can really taste it. It blends well with the flavors in the dishes. What a welcome addition to Longmont!"
"Fantastic lunch special - for $16 it's a ton of food, and allows you to taste a few of the different offerings. The chicken was incredibly tender in both preparations, and the samosa was stuffed with filling! Had plenty to take home as leftovers for dinner, which was a good "problem" to have. Waitress was also the hostess, greeting was friendly and she refilled water without needing to be asked. A big clean restaurant. Did notice a number of takeout orders being picked up!"
"Simply a restaurant that makes your makes your tayrs buds work over time Tasty healthy freshly cooked food The lunch buffet is a must as it will satisfy any cravings and prompt you to cane back The string beans and the Chiken tandoori ate magnificent The space is large and pleasant and the staff kind and diligent A superb restaurant we will go back often This week we are there three times as we could not get enough Family owned and operated a local must patronize eating meca It's good just try it Glutten challenges are accommodated as long as the staff is made aware of the issue Great Vegeterian choices and of course superb for meat lovers with great stews and tandoori chicken"
"What a great Nepalese restaurant in Boulder! I had some of the best steamed vegetable momos I've ever had here, and some of the best naan of my life. They have a large menu and there is something for everyone here. Folks are really friendly and gave great recommendations. Their vegetable korma was also delicious. Would definitely make a return trip if I find myself in Boulder again."
"Knowing this used to be a biker bar. The restaurant is a great change on the inside. It is nice and opened and busy. It is a great addition to the neighborhood. The service is great. They were definitely on top of it with making sure our requests are met. We tried the VIP couples set to have a little bit of everything along with the meat samosas. We definitely ordered to have leftovers. It was all really good. The vip couples set came with 4 pieces of dark meat chicken tandoori with lots of grilled vegetables, chicken curry, chicken tikka marsala, saag paneer, garlic naan, rice, and a chai tasting rice pudding. All the food was good and by the time dessert came we only ate it because it was really good. Glad we have Indian in the area and will be back."
"Cuisine of the Himalayas is absolutely delicious. I am convinced this is the best restaurant in Evergreen. The food there has always been amazing. The service may be lacking at times, but the food makes up for it. We've dined in there, and were a little nervous when we were the only people there (pre-pandemic), but a few other families eventually came in.The lamb vindaloo was amazing and sneaky spicy. The chicken korma was great and the chicken tikka masala was sweet and they all had a decent spice level, even at medium spicy.I've also had the garlic naan, saag paneer (which is one of my all time favorites), bharta makhani, lamb sherpa stew and a few other things. I just keep forgetting to finish my yelp draft. There are plenty of vegetarian, fish and meat options. You can also add coconut milk and veggies to pretty much anything.I would recommend being careful about the spice levels. I usually get my dishes medium-hot and that is plenty spicy for me. Lately they've been doing take-out only out of their newly installed take-out window. Hopefully they will open up for dining in again soon. I miss eating at restaurants. Cuisine of the Himalayas is so far my favorite restaurant in Evergreen though. I highly recommend it and look forward to trying everything!"
"A good choice of items in their buffet. I'm a vegetarian and had plenty to choose from, but there were plenty of dishes for meat eaters, too. The standout was a sweet potato curry. I've never seen one in any Indian or Himalayan place. It was delicious! Overall, some of the other dishes could have used more spice, but there was a homemade spicy sauce as well as mint sauce and chutney to doctor up dishes. The buffet also comes with a basket of fresh naan. Other highlights were banana pakoras (also a first for me) and their yogurt sauce which had small pieces of fresh ginger. For about $10 it was a good deal."
"This is a family owned Nepali restaurant hidden away in the plaza on Arapahoe. It's small but the staff is really friendly. The prices are reasonable and there are lots of vegetarian options. It's a small menu but everything was actually pretty good. They have a nice little spicy kick but it's not too bad. Sometimes they'll have specials so it's best to ask. Everything was very flavorful."
"I've been here many times for their lunch buffet. The food is good and it's reasonable. It's quick and convenient making it one of our lunch favorites.I struggled a bit to write this review because everything isn't always perfect. The food can be warm instead of hot, the naan bread sometimes takes awhile to come out.But all things considered the place offers value, variety and its got healthy options. The place itself is located in a strip mall in Broomfield. It's nice inside, I like the decorations.Ultimately, it's not the best Indian food I've had, but it is good and for the price I think they deserve a 5 star.If you like buffets or Indian food I would recommend trying it.I'll be back, happy eating!"
"NOT JUST A TASTE!!! It's an Immersion of India! People need to come here and sample the exquisitely prepared cuisine all the time!! The menu is vast and the portions are great but the food is soooo fresh and delicious!Their chai tea is homemade and one can taste the fresh ingredients with each sip of loveliness. It wasn't overly sweet like other places make it!! Absolute Heaven in a cup!The servers were very polite and swift. I cannot wait to come back!!"
"BUFFET IS OPEN! It's delicious! So happy the Indian buffet is open again. I've missed it so much. I guess I got spoiled having a little bit of everything. And all the Riata I want! The Naan was so delicious! They also have a great outdoor space too. There's setback from the road so you have to look for them but they're right there! I'd be a lovely quiet spot to eat outside and have some of the best Indian food in town."
"I love the story. Fuji Cafe is Japanese and Nepalese influenced. A true mom and pop, family run business. Momma bear was in the kitchen and baby bar served. I ordered a matcha latte which was the best I have ever had. Full disclaimer this was only my second one. I ordered the vegetable stew. I thought it was delicious but after looking at other dishes at adjacent tables, I should have ordered differently. I sat at the bar and enjoyed my conversation with Sherpa. Super nice kid with a bright future"
"Great food and service. Casual, small seating area with comfy chairs. Got the plater and it was perfect amount of food for 2 and were able to sample several things. Their mango lassi was loved by my partner. I enjoyed the horchata. Family ran business which I plan to return to support. Parking is in a large lot out front. Located right off Wadsworth and 92nd."
"You cannot beat The Yak when it comes to fantastic, consistent across locations, Indian food. Yak & Yeti is our go to as a family. Our daughter was home for the weekend from college and had been missing Indian food. This location has plenty of parking and is easy to get to. There is ample seating in the dining room. The staff is welcoming and our waters were never empty. We ordered three entrees for the four of us to share, but we all got our own order of Naan. Because, naan, right? Cannot get enough of that stuff. They give you Papadams when you sit down with several chutneys. The cilantro and the tamarind are my favorites. We had both chicken and sweet potato Tikka Masala as well as Tandoori chicken. It was paired with their seasoned rice. The onions and peppers that came with the Tandoori were tasty. Go, just go! If you have not had the wonderful food at a Yak & Yeti location, you need to go!"
"Every once in a while I find myself craving Yak & Yeti. They serve incredible Indian, Nepalese and Tibetan food and I have never been disappointed by anything put in front of me here. If anything, I've been disappointed by the size of my own stomach. Yak and Yeti has a few locations around the Denver metro area though I've only visited the two in Arvada so far - both great! They offer an incredible buffet that has everything that I'd ever want including samosas, saag, paneer and sweet potato and/or chicken tikka masala, among many other things. It comes with baskets of naan as well! Their full menu has tons of other options including momos which are one of my favorites, and a big selection of drinks also. Most of the times I've visited Yak and Yeti we've had a pretty big group (10+) and they always offer separate checks and do a great job keeping everyone straight. I definitely recommend making a reservation here if you're looking for an easy group spot!"
"I cannot express enough how great of an experience we always have at India's Kitchen II:Tonight, we ordered a Kingfisher beer, two mulligatawny soups (one hot and one mild), tandoori chicken, chicken curry, chicken mo mo, and garlic naan. Absolutely fantastic. As usual. The service is fast and friendly. The food is delicious and when you ask for mild, they make it mild. When you ask for hot, they make it hot. I just wish they had their pre-COVID buffet available. It was like like the star on top of a beautiful Christmas tree. (This is me me remembering the greatness.)We come here often, and for a reason. I have never - not once - had a remotely unpleasant meal or experience here. If you haven't already, please try it!"
"Ghurkas has been our go-to local Indian spot for a few years. We've loved their food for dining in and take-out. The personnel are always very friendly and hospitable. When dining in, we typically enjoy an Indian beer. While they offer many Nepalese choices, we usually crave and order the Indian dishes. Some of our favorites are the vegetarian options - veg samosas, aaloo gobi, bhindi masala, saag paneer, and chana masala. We have also had lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, and seek kabob. The meals are always accompanied by fresh cooked jasmine rice. You must order both the garlic naan and onion kulcha to eat with your meal! We will continue to patronize this lovely establishment!"
