The atmosphere is intimate and the menu is approachable, making for a low-key dining experience& yet classy. The roaring fireplace outside adds a romantic touch to the ambiance. And let's talk about the food - impeccable! The cocktails are divine and the in-house made desserts are heaven. The staff, especially Tim, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Mary W. "Love this bar in LoHi! It has our favorite drink that we had our entire trip - The Leaf Peeper. We loved it so much we came back a second day! The bartenders are wonderful. They give great recommendations and are highly knowledgeable of their cocktails. I also tried the Cold-Blooded and Shadowlands. They were delicious, too. The cocktails are so well designed, with unique and carefully selected ingredients. Prices are comparable to other cocktail bars, and the ambiance is classy but laid back. A must stop when in Denver, and make sure you check out the Leaf Peeper! Parking is street and can be tight."

Alisa J. "This was a great restaurant that exceeded all expectations! We started with the whipped bison tallow and it was so good! And the bread was hands down one of the best breads I've ever had. I didn't even need the bison tallow. The tallow was so smooth and flavorful and I loved the plums and candied pine nuts. Probably one of my favorite breads with butter ever. Then we got the chopped salad. It was a salad nothing mind blowing but was very fresh and I loved how much cheese they put. They also split the plate without asking and no split plate charge. That was a really nice touch. Wish my plate had more apples. The tortellini was amazing! The corn flavor was spectacular and I was wowed by the texture and presentation. The venison special also blew my mind. I don't usually like venison because it can become chewy and overdone and then unpleasant. This venison was perfectly done! And the sauce that came with it was so delicious. Wish there was more vegetables and the halloumi cheese felt dry. The sorbet palate cleanser was very refreshing and a nice touch. The pecorino cheesecake was incredible. Probably one of my most favorite cheesecakes. You could actually taste the pecorino but it worked great! The crumble and huckleberries was great as well. The tiramisu was also delicious. I liked the honeycomb on top and have never seen that before. The service was super friendly and I felt like they did just enough without feeling like they were there all the time. For the drinks we had the peach Negroni, Manhattan, Toronto, earl grey old fashioned drink, amaro flight, and dessert wine flight. The peach Negroni had mezcal which I was skeptical about ordering since im not a huge mezcal fan. The drink worked really well. Wish there was more peach flavor though. The Toronto was quite boozy and bitter but it was a really nicely put together drink and was very complex. The earl grey old fashioned drink was so good. The earl grey flavor was very pronounced which I this is a hard thing to do in a cocktail. The Manhattan was good, nothing super memorable. The amaro flight was put together nicely. I don't really drink amaros so I put together a description of what sort of flight I would like and also gave some freedom to the bartender. I felt that they did a good job putting that together and I really enjoyed them all. The pine flavored one especially was my favorite. The dessert wines were put together nicely as well. My only complaint was that they can't make food off the tasting menu if you're not ordering it. There was a risotto I particularly wanted to try and that was disappointing. At least we could order the tiramisu off the tasting menu which was great because no Italian dinner is complete without one. Also the room was actually quite loud and I had a hard time hearing any conversation at times. They turned on music later too which was nice because first there was none. Would 100% return again and would consider this one of my favorite restaurants in Denver."

We started with the croquettes. They were beautifully crispy and had really nice flavor. Next for me was the zen breakfast. Whenever I see jackfruit on a menu, I'm instantly interested. This meal was really, really good. All of the components went beautifully. I washed it down with a blueberry/lemon/basil sparkling mocktail. I would definitely come back!"

Katie F. "I've been eying Cart Driver ever since I heard about their Prosecco on tap and Clam Pizza - so after pampering ourselves with facials, my sister and I ventured over for a glass of wine and a bite before heading home.We arrived around 5:15PM on a Monday, which allowed us to snag a spot to park on the street and walk less than a block to the entrance. The restaurant was relatively busy for a weekday happy hour yet there was plenty of seating in the cozy interior, so the host graciously lead us to a high-top table near the bar, which was perfect for the two of us.Let's just say the large windows, exposed brick, open kitchen, rich oak bar and jazzy tunes played overhead really create one hell of a vibe, that's totally welcoming. We quickly found ourselves right at home and proceeded to check out the extensive menu. The bartender (who also happened to be our server) approached us within minutes to take our drink order, and although we weren't feeling Prosecco, we simply asked him for his recommendation on wine that would accompany the Clam Pizza. Ultimately, he chose a deliciously crisp white, that was dry and delicious! He was very friendly, informative and made small talk with us, which was nice. He was attentive yet allowed us to enjoy all aspects of the meal without a rush. Now - the FOOD! HOLY MOLY.Everything is made in house - dough, sauces, pasta - you name it, it's made within the walls of the establishment and totally impressive. We opted to start our meal with a round of fresh Oysters - Massachusetts Oysters to be exact - which were lump, plump and oh, so good! The 4 we ordered went fast, so at the request of my sister, we ordered the Sardines. Before we knew it. the canned Sardines arrived with a side of sauces and freshly baked Italian bread. Let's just say - this was one of my favorite parts of the meal! The soft salty fish paired SO WELL with the sauces against the dense bread - creating the perfect bite! YUM!THEN, out came the Clam Pizza! Each pie features a delicious cream sauce topped with littleneck clam, pancetta, panna, roasted garlic cloves (which were so so so good) and herbs. Within the first bite, my sister and I looked at each other and said YUM in unison, because YUM. The pizza was perfectly wood fired, generously topped with goodies and had both salty and sweet elements (I swear I could taste cinnamon!) that balanced out nicely! We were too stuffed for dessert, but possibly next time!Overall, I'd easily return to this little gem in the heart of LoHi - and you should too!***Pro Tip: Happy hour is offered, despite the misprint on the menu. We were a little stumped when the host brought us a happy hour menu, only to see that happy hour was offered Tuesday - Friday, but I assure you, it's offered each day - both during the week and weekend!"

Very friendly and conscientious staff. The owner even stopped over to check on us! The food was very good. Funny how Italian food is subject to family recipes and location etc. etc. Appetizers were very good and we basically licked the plates. My Veal Marsala was presented with an Eggplant Componata which was tasty yet the Marsala Sauce was thin and needed to be reduced more to get that nice sweet and thick Dee-lickable thing going on....Everyone ate and we had a couple drinks! J Warren R. "When a restaurant earns a Michelin Star, they have an opportunity to take chances, be even more creative and charge a lot more money. Frasca is all of those things. Frasca's food is inventive and inspired--it is also way overpriced. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were treated like royalty, recognizing my birthday, giving us a prime table and providing unequaled service. Frasca's server, Julia, orchestrated the entire service, perfectly timing the delivery of each course and carefully explaining the courses and the wine pairings. The Quattro Piatti was our choice and the amuse bouche set the stage for a wonderful meal. The scallop with polenta was delicate, light, refreshing and presented beautifully as was the trout crudo and foam. The optional ink squid pasta at $35 seemed overpriced, and while it tasted good, was still overpriced. The risotto was creamy and delicious. Duck breast was exceptional, crispy skin and tender breast. Desserts were delicate, light, refreshing and were a perfect way to finish the meal. I had the optional wine pairing and found all the selections to be exceptional. Frasca focuses on the Friuli area in both its cuisine and wines. I can see why--they are a rear find and never disappoint. Overall, this was a memorable meal, with impeccable service, exceptional wines, comfortable decor."

You don't have to rush and will want to stay awhile. Great seating inside or out. Shout out to Evan for being the rockstar server that he always is! Everyone is right about raving about the bruschetta board. You can't go wrong with the options. Why not order two boards so you can try them all! My personal favorites are the brie and apple, proscuitto and fig, salmon pesto and the tomato and basil. If you want to pregame before the wine and board, the meatball and skewers are so yummy. I also love the grilled cheese with the tomato dip. Happiness calories do NOT count. Their soup and salad is generous portions.Enjoy being happy. Be selfish with your time, money and space. Their menu was surprisingly small but held some excellent options. Garlic bread was absurdly large but delivered on flavor, and a burrata salad offered and excellent mix of flavors and textures. Vegetarian options were some, but vegan not. Service was quite slow, which is part of the reason I ended up staying out in a night that I wasn't quite dressed for. I hadn't heard much about this spot, but if the Yelp reviews can tell you anything, it's that it is worth 5 WHOLE stars - and who am I to argue with my fellow Yelpers??First, their cocktails are TOP TIER. I tried a couple: Yuzu Enjoy Myself with Japanese whisky, yuzu puree and egg white and the Blood Orange Crush with mezcal, fireberry tea, spiced blood orange - inventive and all DELICIOUS. Second, the food! Their menu is simple - some great, fresh seafood, steak, pasta. There was not one bite I did not enjoy:Tallow Candle Bread Service - a candle made out of rendered beef fat and seasoned with herbs and fleur de sel is brought to the table with fantastic, housemade bread. This is a zero waste product and everything is edible except for the flame! Delicious and unique. Wagyu Steak Carpaccio - this is some of the best carpaccio I've had in town. Chili crunch, pine nuts, harrisa aioli, thai basil, ramp kimchi, picled ramps, olive oil - it may SOUND like there's too many things on top of the shaved wagyu, but trust me IT WORKS.12oz Wagyu Flatiron - cooked perfectly medium rare served with potato mille fuielle, charred onions, kombu-beef jus, chanterelles and spinach. Don't sleep on those sides, they were also just as good as that steak.I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant- not to mention the service was just incredible. We started off with a few drinks, they came out rather quickly, but the highlight of the night was the food. Starting with the lobster creste di gallo, my friend said it was one of the best she has had amazing flavor. The Risotto and Scotch Olives were also devoured. The funniest past was my meal, The Crispy Lions main. I thought it was fish until the Owner/Manager Chris came by and told me it was actually a mushroom.
