"East Moon never disappoints! I truly was happy to see they added bento boxes to their daily options. It is the right amount of food and it is out of the world. The service is always amazing and friendly. The ambience is everything you'd expect it to be!You will not be disappointed when visiting East Moon!!"
"We stopped in tonight for a birthday dinner with six of us. I have always enjoyed this place but have not been there since covid. This was a fabulous dinner experience and we are all glad we choose this restaurant. The colorful lights and fish pond is a nice view when you enter the building. The spiral staircase up to the dining room is unique and very cool. It's very attractive and wives a wonderful feel to the experience. We were seated immediately and our server was a wonderful names QiQi. She was fun, friendly, helpful, prompt and downright spunky. She is a fabulous server that really made our dining experience all that much better. She is upbeat and chatty and we all loved her. The decor inside the restaurant is fascinating and fun to look at. They did a great job with the Japanese decor. Now, of course, no review would be complete without discussing the food. Wow, covers it. We had everything from pineapple saki, hot saki, egg rolls, seafood teriyaki, shrimp fried rice, veggie lo mein and a few meals I can't spell. They were hot, freshly made, well presented and delicious. This dinner was worth every dime we paid for it and we will gladly return in the near future. Thank you QiQi for making this birthday dinner a complete success. Ps. We received a free warm Saki as a check in bonus."

"We dined at Sushi Sasa for a friend's 40th birthday. The service was absolutely perfect. From the host to paying everything went really smoothly. We got several dishes and everything was delicious. My favorite was the hamachi jalapeno. Such an amazing dish with cherry tomatoes and delicious ponzu sauce. The prices are a bit high but great spot for any special occasion."
"Love how fresh the foods were and how quick and friendly the service and staff were. Easy to find and many parking spaces too. High quality Japanese food. Recommend!"
"They have been opened for eight years. They closed for four months time for a much needed kitchen renovation! . I'm very happy they're back. This spot in Cherry Creek offers an excellent price point. Presentation is excellent and everything's fresh! They even offer Saba( mackerel). I'm so happy! They have a great Happy Hour everyday start at opening till 6pm, including lunch time. Dine in only, excludes holiday. "This place is among my top 5s in Denver! Brought a few out of town vegetarian friends here for dinner and the green machine was the highlight of our dinner. We ordered 3 of these! Veggie tempura was pretty good and so crispy yet not oily! The matcha panna cotta here is a great dessert and never disappoints! Service has always been so great out here."
"The waiter was very thoughtful and considerate. I ordered the Tempura Chicken and Vegetables, 2 Egg Rolls, Cream Cheese Wontons and Fried Rice. The Tempura was very good, as were the Egg Rolls and Fried Rice (though could have used some additional seasoning), the Cream Cheese Wontons could have used additional seasoning, as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant."
"Very friendly service and good sushi. I've sampled a few of their special rolls - for fun - and they've all been good. Sashimi is fresh and the chirashi was a good mix of fishes and fresh. Recommended"
"So Nice Inside!!Beautifully decorated ceiling with lamps and umbrellas. Wonderful service. The food is beyond amazing. Go with the Chef's Signature Rolls and trust your server."

The food here was great! I think the sushi rolls were a reasonable price especially compared to some of the others around the area. Our server was really nice and always kept our waters full. Recommend the crab cheese rangoons! If we were back in town - we would visit again.

Hidden Gem, very unique seating! Plenty of parking out front, there is a spiral staircase to get to the entrance. I came here for a date night and birthday dinner on a Tuesday night. They had plenty of seating available, so I don't know if reservations are necessary on a weekday. It is a quite place that has semiprivate rooms for larger parties. The seating was amazing, at first glance it looks like you are sitting on the floor but there is an indent in the floor for your feet. You have to take your shoes off in this area. If you sit in the sushi bar or the main dinner area you will be able to watch the game as they have a few TVs. The food was pretty good. Nothing crazy special/unique about it but it all tasted good and hit the sushi spot. I will say the big winner would be the price for the food. I have been to many places in CO with comparable sushi however it is crazy expensive. I thought it was very reasonably priced here. Overall 4.5/5 stars.

Dear God, this place is amazing. Service is always on point. Love the white linen atmosphere. The toro and tuna sashimi dishes are perfectly prepared. I could fill up on just the nigiri section alone! The fried rice the the literal best I've ever had. Good lord, the running egg there is so good. Grilled Artichoke, also bomb. Oyster with a runny Quail Egg, also fire. Love the snake river foie gras and mis ramen. Will be back!

Came here on a whim, was just looking for local sushi spots. The nigiri was amazing. The miso soup; not too salty. The gyozas; lots of flavor and not overcooked. The chef sent out a couple custom specials on the house, which was pretty awesome. Recommend the young yellowtail. Light and fluffy, full of flavor. The service was on point. Hospitality had us thinking that we're definitely coming back! Definitely a nice environment and a good meal for sure.

Overall, a bang up experience. Hidden gem in Cherry Creek that's real easy to miss. It's on Steele St. just down the stairs. This always reminds me of mountain towns or bigger cities. Don't sleep on Hasu!A few of us dined in last Monday night and it was practically empty inside the restaurant, sans one table. They gave us the booth right near the front windows, which was plenty of room for the three of us. We held off on drinks, but loaded up on sushi and appetizers. For apps we ordered the tuna taco, crab cheese wontons and pork gyoza. All of it was solid. The rangoons were especially tasty with a tangy dipping sauce. Gyoza had good flavor, too. I ended up downing most of the tuna tacos, which looked like they were overly marinated, but ended up being a delectable choice as well.We ordered the sashimi platter for two, which was very reasonably priced for the amount of food it comes with. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail and a few others that I'm drawing a blank on as I write this. Sashimi and nigiri for both, with an additional, simple roll. All tasted fairly fresh and was well assembled. Not much to complain about. I think the atmosphere leaves something to the imagination, it seems like it could use a refresh. But maybe that's because it was empty on a weeknight. I can see myself returning to try more items and get my sushi fix!

It's been a long time since I've been to Bamboo Sushi and I wondered why I haven't written a review! Some details may be a bit fuzzy but I do remember how I felt that cold December night and how there were a good amount of people there when we showed up.The first thing I always remember is how the restaurant's environment made me feel and how we were treated. The interior felt traditional yet modern to many izakayas found in Japan. Waitstaff was certainly top notch and it was such a joy to be welcomed to dine. The next things on the list are food. I remember the chicken karaage-like bao. didn't care for the mint all too much but the rest of the dish was good. We also tried some Asian-Fusion type rolls that also did really well. Even the traditional nigiri was cut masterfully and tasted great!Have a look at the pictures for a better idea of what they offer. A return trip is long overdue and I'm glad reminiscing with old photos led me back to Yelp. time to get on the ball and plan the next reservation!

"This gem serves the closest version of chicken katso curry this side of Japan. There are many imitations, but no duplicators. In a blind taste test, they would be a contender for sure. They serve up some tasty delights and fill your far east cravings. The service is friendly enough, sometimes dismissive, but they are trying really hard. The ramen is tasty and as spicy as you like. The sushi experience is a pure delight!"
"We almost always have a good experience when we come here. Attentive and friendly staff and the sushi is tasty. There is lots of variety offered, which I like."
"The food was exactly as expected; hot and fresh as it should be. The service also was fast and super friendly. The price is right for the right food and service. Dining hall was clean and well organized. A lot of people carry-out here (since the tables are mostly filled?) The food is good but it's a bit pricey. Overall, we may or may not come here again since it's pricey; and there are other Ramen options close by to this location."
"Happy hour. The good: super fast! My specialty cocktail was delicious and half price. The bad: I ordered a fish roll and it literally came out in one minute so I know it was pre-rolled and tasted at least a day old. The tempura was lightly battered and yet still greasy. The cucumber salad was one note vinegar. The server was quick and courteous. Happy hours are supposed to sell you on the food so you come back for dinner and I won't be doing that."
"Hot sake was JUST what I needed after my partner and I went on a freezing date to the Blossoms of Light festival. The snow was beautiful but cold this particular evening. That made street parking pretty easy (one block down) when it would have been quite crowded on Colfax. We were seated immediately for dinner since there weren't many other people around.I was craving chirashi, when normally I'd have gotten a few sushi rolls. The hot sake and miso were a good way to warm my body before the entrée. The chirashi came "deconstructed" vs. the typical bowl format, which I thought was clever. Sashimi was fresh and filling, which is lowkey my concern because of price. Overall would come back here again!"
"I have fond memories of Sushi Bay 17. My partner and I came here on a whim one weekday evening, and it was completely empty. We were immediately seated, and I ordered some delicious hot sake. We also placed an order for 3-4 sushi rolls, which were reasonably priced... as advertised on their website.Partially I think it's because the rolls have less ingredients and are thinner than other sushi places, but honestly I prefer being able to fit the sushi in my mouth. Some spots get so carried away with the size of their sushi rolls! Can't remember the names of what we got, but they were all filling.I'd definitely come here again, especially for their lunch specials. Or just easily order take-out through their website. Plus, I didn't realize there's a karaoke room in the back!? There's more to Sushi Bay 17 than meets the eye. Lots of mixed reviews on Yelp but worth trying in my opinion."
"Open area, nicely decorated with kind staff waiting to seat you. Very gracious staff members. Their sushi rolls are excellent. Love the ginger they provide. I can't say enough great things about Ninja Sushi!"
"Beautiful, delicious sushi!Osaka Sushi is a huge winner in the sushi department for having an amazing selection of rolls, reasonable prices, beautiful presentation, and awesome desserts!Had the opportunity to finally check out Osaka Sushi after a friend of mine raved so much about it. I may be weird, but I actually love fruit in or on top of my sushi so whenever I'm at a new sushi place I scan the menu for a) rolls with any fruit like mango, strawberry, or kiwi, b) spicy rolls with spicy salmon or tuna, and then c) tempura rolls. Osaka Sushi has a great selection and some very unique rolls as well. I ordered the tropicana roll and ichiban roll which satisfied my fruity and spicy sushi cravings, respectively. The tropicana roll is one of their newer rolls and includes shrimp tempura, crab meat, cucumber, kiwi, kiwi sauce, tempura flakes, and red tobiko. The ichiban roll is shrimp tempura & crab meat topped with spicy tuna, spicy mayo, and sweet eel sauce. My friends ordered the avalanche roll, oh baby roll, and two others that I don't remember the name of. The avalanche has baked salmon, crab, shrimp tempura. Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved the ichiban, tropicana, and avalanches rolls! The two other rolls I tried were also great. Despite being fairly full, of course we had to try dessert.I ordered the berry paradise cheesecake, while our friends had the tempura ice cream and creme brulee. All of the desserts were beautifully presented, with beautiful plate art. Not only beautiful, but they were also delicious. I love the care in the presentation that Osaka delivers for both their sushi and desserts!Friendly staff, plenty of seating. Five stars! Definitely one of my favorite sushi restaurants - wish it was closer!"
"The interior design of Mizu Izakaya is stunning and definitely eye-catching. However, I wasn't as impressed by their rather bland nigiri pieces. I felt they could have added a bit more salt and other unique flavor pairings charging at the rate they do. I likely won't be returning."
"I must admit, I was skeptical before I tried Ooka. Their menu is HUGE and includes Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and all sorts of asian fusion. It makes you wonder what their real specialty is, but turns out, they do everything surprisingly well! Here's a few things I've ordered, all of which I have liked: - Sesame chicken (with white rice and steamed broccoli) - Dynamite Roll- Las Vegas Roll - yellowtail sushi- salmon sushi- potstickers - gyoza- veggie tempura- Thai Iced Tea I really haven't been disappointed by anything. You really can't go wrong with the sesame chicken, it's a great balance of light and crispy batter, tangy sauce with a little kick, and tender chicken within (though the broccoli could be steamed better). The dynamite roll is also, well, dynamite. It's a special roll with deep fried spicy salmon/eel/cream cheese combo. Great combo of sweet and spicy with a nice texture. The Las Vegas roll is also top shelf, which is lobster tempura, eel, cucumber, avocado within, and spicy scallops & mango on top. Again a really strong compliment of flavors and textures. I wouldn't call it my favorite sushi place in town (it's currently #2 but potential to take #1), but it is certainly my top overall "Asian" option. With so many options and consistency in taste + quality, I applaud the effort here and say keep it up!"
"Little Ollies is a great Asian fusion restaurant in Cherry Creek. We came for an anniversary meal and had no issue getting a table of seven without reservation on Sunday evening. Our sever was very helpful. She did a great job of checking in on us and refilling water/drinks.The food is good. Some items are better than others. The soups (hot and sour and chicken egg drop) are fire as well as the sesame tofu, lo mein (had chicken this go around, pad Thai and peppercorn beef (all dishes shared family style)The beef soup dumplings were mediocre on the other hand. The soup wasn't hot and the dough a bit thick. The bonsai drink sounded great with Japanese whiskey cucumber lime and mint. Something else was in the cocktail that made it very sweet and should have been listed. The parking is easy on a Sunday and they do offer a small lot with dedicated spots just to the west."
"While at Zeppelin Station, I was drawn in by these unique sushi rolls. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up going with the Maui Wowie Roll. It was delicious and a pretty big roll. I Ioved the unique ingredients like goat cheese that they use. There were so many other rolls I wanted to try so I would definitely come back to try more."
"Karaage appetizer- sauce is good but karaage itself was just meh. I wouldn't get it againSalmon avocado roll was not badPhiladelphia roll was goodSpicy scallop roll was ok. Lots of texture but not much flavor imo Manhattan was alright. Tuna and salmon on outside, Kani crabmeat on insideHappy roll I thought was just okNew York roll I very much enjoyed. I would get this again for sure. Lots of sashimi on top and was tasty"
"So found this place on IG and of course IG made it seem like we HAD to eat this place. For some reason IG keeps disappointing me. So and away we went. To be fair I wasn't 100% disappointed. It was in a cool location minus quite a bit of tweekers shooting up in front of my kid or asking us for money every few minutes, it's actually in a prime location after dark. So it's on a corner lot and when we showed up it was not busy at all maybe a few patrons in the whole place and the whole place I would say is very small. There is maybe 10 tables and then a wrap around table thing that wraps around the sushi conveyor belt that you can grab what you want. We walked in and initial greeted and sat where we wanted to we decided we wanted to sit in front of the conveyor to get the full experience. We got our menus and began choosing what type of broth we wanted for our hot pot. I will say we waited a good 10 mins before our server even came for our drinks and the whole thing. I honestly think he was the only server. So if you come keep that in mind and just be patient. He's super nice. They did bring us water while we waited for him. But while we waited we began helping ourselves to the sushi conveyor belt thing which was cool and good. So our waiter came and took our orders. FYI if only one person wants the wagyu meal all must get it regardless. So we went with the regular meat selection because we didn't want to pay 50 bucks a person times 3 for only me wanting wagyu. So I ordered the spiciest broth, which honestly wasn't spicy at all but was still very delicious. The meats we ordered were brisket, bottom round and lamb. All were very good. Our favorite was the brisket. Very good cuts! Then he asked us what sashimi we wanted and tbh I can't remember the name but it was white tail something and I have NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER ate raw fish before and I LOOOOOVED it. Found a new food I love! They also make you each per person whatever sushi roll you like besides the ones that come around in that conveyor belt. After we placed our order we got up to make our plates that we want to cook in our broth. This is where I was a bit disappointed. There wasn't much of a selection to make your dipping sauce and not much of a selection for cooking in your broth. There was some veggies and some other like fish and shellfish stuff and dumplings and noodles. But nothing like were use to at other hot pots. I'm more of a veggie girl so I was disappointed when a few of my favorite veggies I like at hot pots weren't there. It didn't ruin my night I still made the best of it because it was still a fun experience. Through the conveyor belt I did eat a ton of the green seaweed that's my freaking favorite. And as one of the alcoholic drinks I drank this peach saki which I could have drank like water because it was so freaking good!!! I highly recommend getting it you go. Overall the experience is cool and the area is totally horrible and if you're okay with a wait for your server it's worth it. For our meal we paid 39.99 a person which isn't bad for what all we got. I would go back again for sure."
"The food! The sushi was nice and flavorful and just the right amount. The ramen!!!!!! Yes, i'm screaming because it was that good-too 3 in Denver periodddd"
"Outstanding food! super fresh sushi, perfect tempura Excellent prompt service we will be back"
"I was craving sushi and decided to stop in, and I'm so glad I did. The fish was fresh and melted in my mouth. The roll that my friend got was delicious. I wish I remembered the name. We shared some Gyozas and edamame to start. Let me say those were the best gyozas I've ever had! They were steamed but then pan-fried on one side, so they had a nice crunch. I would go back just for those again. The restaurant is inside a tiny corner strip; don't let that fool you. This was some of the better sushi I've had in a long time. The service was quick and friendly. I will be back."
"Honestly, the weekday lunch specials are the best thing about this place. They are the main reason I come in! Good sushi, good appetizers, and decently quick service for sushi. I've never had a bad experience here, and the inside is always clean and inviting"
"We had New Years Eve reservations and while I may not make that particular choice again, I will always go back to Mt. Fuji. Hibachi is an experience and almost always worth the wait (unless it's 2+ hours). Food is always excellent! Go when it's not a holiday is my recommendation."
