Andrea B. "After walking around Downtown Denver all day I worked up an appetite. I stumbled upon Mad Greens which was a salad bar type of place. They had a large selection of Salads, juices and wraps. I got a regular Siam I Am which came with spinach, kale, quinoa, carrots, edamame, green onions and peanuts, I got chicken instead of tofu and it was paired with a ginger soy dressing. The potion was huge so I am glad I did not get a large order. I even walked out with left overs and ate it the next day. The location I super convenient to people who work around there and tourists looking for a quick bite. Ordering was easy and fast and the location was super clean."

The hearty bread was packed with thinly sliced Italian cold cuts and topped with roasted tomatoes, pepperoncini, provolone, and vinaigrette. It hit the spot. It took about 10-12 to make the sandwich so would be a good idea to order ahead of you're in a hurry."

They had cute little valentines greetings on the napkins and they brought complementary strawberries dipped in chocolate on a stick for you. They even offered complementary bubbly or rosé. My husband and I started off with the veggie cauli mari and it was delicious. A nice seafood calamari substitute . Then we had French onion soup , it was just the right amount and so tasty. We both ordered prime rib with garlic butter mashed potatoes, and delicious green beans . We ended the meal with some coffee and blueberry cobbler. The staff was so attentive and professional. I can't wait to go back and try their brunch , burgers or bowls, and oh yeah their mocktails are fabulous."

With his every own recipe created this uber-smooth lotion-like hummus. Lena Young who's engaged to Dave and cute as a button makes sure things are smooth out front. They opened in June 28 of last year. Everything is made fresh. Salads, sauces and that rotisserie chicken is one of the best! Moist and as a sandwich is unbeatable! We had the #2 version the Classic Gyro prep. Love it! Oh they have wines and beers! Tip: their fries are amazing! Great friendly service! They are busy, the entire menu can be made vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free by request. Who's Sonny? It's their 120 lbs Great Pyrenees that turns 4 today! Happy Birthday Sonny!"

Stefanie C. "Hot sake was JUST what I needed after my partner and I went on a freezing date to the Blossoms of Light festival. The snow was beautiful but cold this particular evening. That made street parking pretty easy (one block down) when it would have been quite crowded on Colfax. We were seated immediately for dinner since there weren't many other people around.I was craving chirashi, when normally I'd have gotten a few sushi rolls. The hot sake and miso were a good way to warm my body before the entrée. The chirashi came "deconstructed" vs. the typical bowl format, which I thought was clever. Sashimi was fresh and filling, which is lowkey my concern because of price. Overall would come back here again!"

I enjoyed their white wine sangria. I adored their spiked melon and fruits in the sangria. One drink lasted throughout the meal for less than $13.Now the food, lasagna bolognese and pesto pasta with crispy prosciutto and mushrooms. Both so hearty, both made us feel so satisfied and comfty. We loved the outdoor patio, which is completely heated. Inside was pretty but it seemed quite loud for us. If you reserve online you can choose which area to sit. We didn't reserve and was lucky to get a table right away. But a wait quickly enforced right after we sat. So I recommend calling ahead for the future.2 entrees, 2 cocktails set us back only $60 before tip. 10/10 would come again. And im getting a dessert next time!"

The restaurant did a fabulous job accommodating our group. We were given the back area with 2 long tables. This allowed us to easily mingle with each other as well as order food and drink. Our waiter (who also doubled as the bartender) effortlessly took all our orders as people filtered in and out. He was even able to split out the check by couples, which made things so easy. The pizzas were great and my friends who had the burgers also enjoyed their dinner. I highly recommend Sunnyside Supper Club for large groups."

Rika M. "Convenient location, spacious dining room, friendly staff, good selection of food and beverage items. What else should I mention about this healthy eatery? I don't know how many times I had passed by this place whenever I was in Cherry Creek. As much as I wanted to try it so badly, I got sidetracked each time. But finally, yesterday, I had a chance to check it out. And the experience was good. What I like about this place is the fact that they have several wines on tap. This is a huge plus for me. During a late lunch hour, on top of the several sides and the soup of the day (in a bowl) for us to share, I had to get me the Sauvignon Blanc on tap (they also have Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir on tap.) What we got were...Cauliflower Risotto (side), Sweet Potato (side), Brown Rice (side) and Daily Soup (Thai Chicken Curry with Mushroom, Coconut and Lime), Sauvignon Blanc (tap) and Arnold Palmer. Let me rate each one (except Arnold Palmer as I didn't taste this one.)-Sauvignon Blanc: This is a decent Sauv.Blanc. Crisp and light. For $8, I'll go back here just for this as a casual lunch or even early dinner.-Cauliflower Risotto: Is a bit too salty to my liking and yet, overall, this is not a bad dish to order as a side. The portion size is decent.-Sweet Potato: Enjoyed this one. I have never had sweet potato cooked with bok choy and they are paired well in my opinion. Not too salty at all.-Brown Rice: This is a simply rice dish. Plain and well cooked. Decent is the best way to describe it.-Daily Soup: Like I stated above, it's a Thai Chicken Curry with Mushroom, Coconut and Lime. This is a soup, not a curry dish so it's very soupy (since it's got the curry flavor, I wish this was a bit more curry-ish dish to be frank so I wasn't super impressed with this one and yet, it wasn't a bad dish either.) The portion size is good for the kind of price ($7.95).*Note: all the sides are $5. I'd say eat outside as long as the weather permits. The patio has a good number of tables. Yeah, you'll hear the traffic noise from the 1st Avenue but it's not too bad. It's a good place for all occasions: family dining, ladies' get-together, date, or even solo."

This second go around I really enjoyed Turtle Boat so much more. I loved that they had more unique fish and toppings options, some of which were local. The portion also felt huge! My cons were I really didn't love that they used fake crab for their crab salad and though everything was fresh it really lacked depth of flavor. Maybe I should have tried 2 sauces rather than just the spicy Mayo to bring things together better!"

It's locally owned and operated by a husband and wife duo. It's not a very large restaurant, though in the summer the patio is the place to be.Inside is comfortable and cozy, almost rustic cabin vibes. Beautiful restaurant with a small bar, community table, and four top seating. The menu is an interesting mash up of refined meets pub food. They're known for their burgers, so you should probably order one!+Evergreen Smoked Pork Green Chili ($9) // Shredded Cheese, Cilantro, Pickled Red Onions, Pepitas, Tortilla Strips. This was the most dolled up green chile I've ever had. It was also the GREENEST green chile I've ever had. I'm 99% sure they add green dye to it, which I don't seem to understand the reasoning for...Having said that, the flavors were good albeit the neon green color.Southern Charm ($17) // Angus Beef, Espresso Bacon Bourbon Onion Jam, Smoked Gouda, Roasted Garlic Horseradish Aioli, Pickles, Lettuce, served with House Cut Kennebec Fries. If you like strong potent flavors this is the burger for you. It was incredibly garlicky and horseradishy. Some bites were overkill, but the meat was cooked well and the bun was delicious. I scarfed it down! Fries were also very good.Pricing seems appropriate for portion sizes and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Definitely a spot to impress someone visiting from out of state. I also checked if there was an option to add sauces on side but no option so I hoped they just included. They did not. The Short Ribs were a little salty a nice sweet "teriyaki" style sauce would have helped with the salty. Also I got the musubi but no sauce there either so it was just a little dry. We approached the hostesses both acknowledged us visually without a single utter of anything. She found a table in her book and the other walked away as if we an understanding to follow him. Perplexed, we stood there until he stopped, looked at us and made some indescribable sound. Assuming he was showing us to our table, we followed. This is by no means an exaggeration of the exchange. Once we were seated things improved. I ordered the Pigs in the Blanket, which I enjoyed thoroughly. My wife ordered her typically, French Toast, on this occasion the coconut version. She also liked hers but the coconut syrup was scanty for the amount of French Toast. I really love the restaurant with its high ceilings, brightness filled by sunlight and their amazing patio. Dale Z. "I was fortunate enough to be invited to sample many of the menu items during the soft opening of Sun Valley Kitchen. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and enthusiastic about their new endeavor. I was able to meet the owner, Glenn, the head chef, Reuben, and a very nice young woman who was working front of house. For those who do not know, the Sun Valley neighborhood is somewhat lacking in dining options. The addition of Sun Valley Kitchen will have a marked impact on this area. I was excited to sample several menu items. The hummus was every bit as good as what I am used to. The iced-tea was straightforward and refreshing. The house-made chips were quite good. For me, the salads and sandwiches really shone. The Vietnamese Grilled Beef Salad (with Marinated Cucumbers, Bean Sprouts, & Cilantro Lime Dressing) was very tasty and a good choice for a lighter bite. The Traditional Greek Salad (with Roasted Tomato, Feta, Kalamata Olives, & Oregano Dressing) had some solid flavors. The Seasonal Roasted Vegetables were a welcome addition to my plate. Perhaps my favorite bite was the Vietnamese BBQ Beef Banh Mi (with Spicy BBQ Pork, Marinated Vegetables, Cilantro, & Banh Mi Sauce). I know people who will practically come to blows over how authentic this Banh Mi is versus that one. This one was done as a Panini, and definitely had all the flavors I was looking for. I do not eat Falafel that often, but I did like the Crispy Falafel Pita Sandwich (with House Made Falafel, Tahini Lemon Sauce, & Warm Pita). It had a distinct curry flavor to me, which I am still trying to decide if it was a plus, a minus, or neutral in the grand scheme of things. I had a bite of the Fresh Cut Fries smothered in Green Chile sauce with Cheese. This was comfort food with a kick. I finished off this fine, and reasonably priced, repast with a sweet mini-bite of peanut butter fudge.Aside from the excellent food, Sun Valley Kitchen has a mission. A portion of their proceeds directly fund the Sun Valley Community Center. Many of the recipes used at this restaurant were contributed by community members. In line with that, each Thursday Sun Valley Kitchen will be featuring specialty food items prepared by local residents. Sabrina S. "Oh my how do I start this. . .this place was a hidden gem within a neighborhood and it was so quaint and cute!! We decided to sit outside as we did not make an appointment and we were a party of 5. Towards the end of the dining experience, we were all a little cold BUT that was on us. Pro Tip - Make an appointment as this place busy busy busy!!As soon as we were sat, they came out and gave us our menus and gave us fresh bread boules with a balsamic vinaigrette to dip the bread in. I thought that was a nice change to the usual olive oil with balsamic vinegar. Some of the people that I was with thought that it was too vinegary but i liked it as I LOVE balsamic vinegar. lol We placed our order and soon after, we got our food and let me tell you. . .silence enveloped our table as we started to dig into the food. And you know that is the best compliment that you can give to a restaurant. . .that silence fell upon the table once the food came. The food was so freaking good! I had the chicken piccata with linguine pasta. BUT I wished that they had just served it with plain spaghetti OR fettucini so that the pasta could've picked up more of the sauce. I seriously wanted to spoon up the sauce. But then again, I have yet to meet a piccata that I did not like. The food was amazing and everything came out quickly and everything was sooooooo delicious! The free bread was good BUT they needed to proof the bread a little longer as it was a very dense bread and I could tell that the boule was underproofed. Did I eat it even though it was under proofed? Heck yeah I did! Cuz I love bread. . .or rather I love carbs. . .LOL The service was great from the hostess to the server to the bus boy to the food runner. Everyone was very friendly and willing to answer any questions. If I lived in that neighborhood, I'd be in so much trouble as I would be here almost everyday! LOL Just come and eat here. They did still have some booths and a pool table that took a good bit on the dining part. The service was good, and the kitchen was semi-open so you could talk to the chef if needed. It was just us in that area of the restaurant. The starter caprese salad was really good. The pesto and aged balsamic was a really nice touch. The main, we got a few things.
