"Probably the best meal I've had since living in Denver for the last 7 years. We went with friends and decided to splurge on the Omakase and so happy we did. It wasn't cheap , but had zero buyers remorse. It was 10 plates and by the last plate we were pleasantly full. I wish I could remember what each plate was, but once again hands down my favorite meal in Denver. Service was impeccable. The waitress went over the menu and told us what everything was and provided recommendations on what we should do. Would recommend if you love sushi and willing to spend the $ a perfect place to go on a date night."
"We dined at Sushi Sasa for a friend's 40th birthday. The service was absolutely perfect. From the host to paying everything went really smoothly. We got several dishes and everything was delicious. My favorite was the hamachi jalapeno. Such an amazing dish with cherry tomatoes and delicious ponzu sauce. The prices are a bit high but great spot for any special occasion."

"They have been opened for eight years. They closed for four months time for a much needed kitchen renovation! . I'm very happy they're back. This spot in Cherry Creek offers an excellent price point. Presentation is excellent and everything's fresh! They even offer Saba( mackerel). I'm so happy! They have a great Happy Hour everyday start at opening till 6pm, including lunch time. Dine in only, excludes holiday. "This place is among my top 5s in Denver! Brought a few out of town vegetarian friends here for dinner and the green machine was the highlight of our dinner. We ordered 3 of these! Veggie tempura was pretty good and so crispy yet not oily! The matcha panna cotta here is a great dessert and never disappoints! Service has always been so great out here."
"I'm so torn on how to review my visit at Spicy Thai II a few days ago. Service for sure 5 stars. Food : sushi I would give 3.5, cheese Rangoons 5 stars and then my entre was not what I completely expected. I got Kung Pao Chicken , but got it with steak instead. I would give this dish 1 star. It's not at all like the Kung Paos I've had before. It was tasted like creamy peanut butter as the sauce which was way way way too much. Not sure if it's supposed to taste like that , but I couldn't finish it. I wouldn't let this stop me from going back because of a poor choice on my end."
"The waiter was very thoughtful and considerate. I ordered the Tempura Chicken and Vegetables, 2 Egg Rolls, Cream Cheese Wontons and Fried Rice. The Tempura was very good, as were the Egg Rolls and Fried Rice (though could have used some additional seasoning), the Cream Cheese Wontons could have used additional seasoning, as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant."
"So Nice Inside!!Beautifully decorated ceiling with lamps and umbrellas. Wonderful service. The food is beyond amazing. Go with the Chef's Signature Rolls and trust your server."
"We almost always have a good experience when we come here. Attentive and friendly staff and the sushi is tasty. There is lots of variety offered, which I like."
"Happy hour. The good: super fast! My specialty cocktail was delicious and half price. The bad: I ordered a fish roll and it literally came out in one minute so I know it was pre-rolled and tasted at least a day old. The tempura was lightly battered and yet still greasy. The cucumber salad was one note vinegar. The server was quick and courteous. Happy hours are supposed to sell you on the food so you come back for dinner and I won't be doing that."
"I have fond memories of Sushi Bay 17. My partner and I came here on a whim one weekday evening, and it was completely empty. We were immediately seated, and I ordered some delicious hot sake. We also placed an order for 3-4 sushi rolls, which were reasonably priced... as advertised on their website.Partially I think it's because the rolls have less ingredients and are thinner than other sushi places, but honestly I prefer being able to fit the sushi in my mouth. Some spots get so carried away with the size of their sushi rolls! Can't remember the names of what we got, but they were all filling.I'd definitely come here again, especially for their lunch specials. Or just easily order take-out through their website. Plus, I didn't realize there's a karaoke room in the back!? There's more to Sushi Bay 17 than meets the eye. Lots of mixed reviews on Yelp but worth trying in my opinion."
"Open area, nicely decorated with kind staff waiting to seat you. Very gracious staff members. Their sushi rolls are excellent. Love the ginger they provide. I can't say enough great things about Ninja Sushi!"

Everything was so delicious that we kept forgetting to take photos! We sat at the sushi bar and had the pleasure of talking with the chef. It was entertaining to watch them make the delicious dishes. We tried so many things and loved them all. We got to try ocean trout for the first time and it was so amazing.Definitely recommend this place for a stellar meal!

Dear God, this place is amazing. Service is always on point. Love the white linen atmosphere. The toro and tuna sashimi dishes are perfectly prepared. I could fill up on just the nigiri section alone! The fried rice the the literal best I've ever had. Good lord, the running egg there is so good. Grilled Artichoke, also bomb. Oyster with a runny Quail Egg, also fire. Love the snake river foie gras and mis ramen. Will be back!

Overall, a bang up experience. Hidden gem in Cherry Creek that's real easy to miss. It's on Steele St. just down the stairs. This always reminds me of mountain towns or bigger cities. Don't sleep on Hasu!A few of us dined in last Monday night and it was practically empty inside the restaurant, sans one table. They gave us the booth right near the front windows, which was plenty of room for the three of us. We held off on drinks, but loaded up on sushi and appetizers. For apps we ordered the tuna taco, crab cheese wontons and pork gyoza. All of it was solid. The rangoons were especially tasty with a tangy dipping sauce. Gyoza had good flavor, too. I ended up downing most of the tuna tacos, which looked like they were overly marinated, but ended up being a delectable choice as well.We ordered the sashimi platter for two, which was very reasonably priced for the amount of food it comes with. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail and a few others that I'm drawing a blank on as I write this. Sashimi and nigiri for both, with an additional, simple roll. All tasted fairly fresh and was well assembled. Not much to complain about. I think the atmosphere leaves something to the imagination, it seems like it could use a refresh. But maybe that's because it was empty on a weeknight. I can see myself returning to try more items and get my sushi fix!

It's been a long time since I've been to Bamboo Sushi and I wondered why I haven't written a review! Some details may be a bit fuzzy but I do remember how I felt that cold December night and how there were a good amount of people there when we showed up.The first thing I always remember is how the restaurant's environment made me feel and how we were treated. The interior felt traditional yet modern to many izakayas found in Japan. Waitstaff was certainly top notch and it was such a joy to be welcomed to dine. The next things on the list are food. I remember the chicken karaage-like bao. didn't care for the mint all too much but the rest of the dish was good. We also tried some Asian-Fusion type rolls that also did really well. Even the traditional nigiri was cut masterfully and tasted great!Have a look at the pictures for a better idea of what they offer. A return trip is long overdue and I'm glad reminiscing with old photos led me back to Yelp. time to get on the ball and plan the next reservation!

Cute gem amongst strip mall suburb. Surprisingly lovely inside. Great lighting and decor. Service was fast, very friendly, and lots of regulars patron to give it a warm neighborhood feel. Highlights: HOT AND SOUR SOUP! So good. Rich flavor without being too spicy Ambiance Service Price pointPortions Lowlights: The sushi was fairly bland. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing right either. Just basic. And the rice on the rolls was smooshed, kind of pasty in places. The spicy tuna was bland. If you're looking for a quick bite and are ok with not being wowed, this is a fine spot.

Unassuming sushi in a shopping centerAfter a long weekend of so many different foods I wanted some good, fresh sushi. I ended up doing a special sashimi flight, some salmon & aburi salmon belly nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. All were very good and hit the spot just right. The details of this restaurant are so nice. Super cute inside. Ambiance is just right for all occasions. I thought the prices didn't match the interior (in a good way!). They have two happy hours everyday which is a bonus. 4:30-5:30 and again at 8:30 to close

"Beautiful, delicious sushi!Osaka Sushi is a huge winner in the sushi department for having an amazing selection of rolls, reasonable prices, beautiful presentation, and awesome desserts!Had the opportunity to finally check out Osaka Sushi after a friend of mine raved so much about it. I may be weird, but I actually love fruit in or on top of my sushi so whenever I'm at a new sushi place I scan the menu for a) rolls with any fruit like mango, strawberry, or kiwi, b) spicy rolls with spicy salmon or tuna, and then c) tempura rolls. Osaka Sushi has a great selection and some very unique rolls as well. I ordered the tropicana roll and ichiban roll which satisfied my fruity and spicy sushi cravings, respectively. The tropicana roll is one of their newer rolls and includes shrimp tempura, crab meat, cucumber, kiwi, kiwi sauce, tempura flakes, and red tobiko. The ichiban roll is shrimp tempura & crab meat topped with spicy tuna, spicy mayo, and sweet eel sauce. My friends ordered the avalanche roll, oh baby roll, and two others that I don't remember the name of. The avalanche has baked salmon, crab, shrimp tempura. Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved the ichiban, tropicana, and avalanches rolls! The two other rolls I tried were also great. Despite being fairly full, of course we had to try dessert.I ordered the berry paradise cheesecake, while our friends had the tempura ice cream and creme brulee. All of the desserts were beautifully presented, with beautiful plate art. Not only beautiful, but they were also delicious. I love the care in the presentation that Osaka delivers for both their sushi and desserts!Friendly staff, plenty of seating. Five stars! Definitely one of my favorite sushi restaurants - wish it was closer!"
"Not impressed to be honest! Came here to try tonight being new in town and walking in I was impressed how nice and clean it was inside with very modern Asian flair. Got seated right away because we were the only people there. A few turn offs were the lady constantly sweeping the restaurant including user our feet and table while we were seated. Food was very Panda Express tasting and was not very impressive. We had the Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Pork fried rice and chicken pad thai. Food was edible but not very impressed at all. Won't be hurrying back that's for sure."
"The chicken and rice with teriyaki sauce is so good!! The egg roll is one of the best I've had in the area. Highly recommend. There are a lot of other things we want to try still."
"Love the traditional Japanese Izakaya feel, including taking shoes off at the main portion of the restaurant! I miss my go-to Izakaya place in San Jose after moving to Denver a year ago, and Amu filled that void.Came here with 3 others and we all opted for omakase so that we could have our server decide our dishes and portions for us. Instead of it being served as individual courses, they served it family style and then charged prices a la carte, which I appreciated the transparency of. We had a total of 10 dishes (they brought out two portions of the soba) including 2 desserts, so I won't list everything we got but I will list the dishes that were stand outs: Dipping soba with duck - amazing! Broth was light but flavorful. Noodles were cooked perfectly.Sashimi - we had salmon, hamachi, bonito, albacore. All were super fresh.Seared duck breast - perfectly cooked with some pink and lightly seasonedSesame ice cream - strong sesame flavor and a light touch of sweetnessWe also ordered a full bottle of cold sake to go with our meal. Our entire meal was nicely paced and we were full but not overly stuffed. They add an automatic 20% tip, but the entire check still came out to be reasonable overall. Will definitely be back and maybe to try their sister restaurant next door!"
"While at Zeppelin Station, I was drawn in by these unique sushi rolls. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up going with the Maui Wowie Roll. It was delicious and a pretty big roll. I Ioved the unique ingredients like goat cheese that they use. There were so many other rolls I wanted to try so I would definitely come back to try more."
"Karaage appetizer- sauce is good but karaage itself was just meh. I wouldn't get it againSalmon avocado roll was not badPhiladelphia roll was goodSpicy scallop roll was ok. Lots of texture but not much flavor imo Manhattan was alright. Tuna and salmon on outside, Kani crabmeat on insideHappy roll I thought was just okNew York roll I very much enjoyed. I would get this again for sure. Lots of sashimi on top and was tasty"
"Honestly, the weekday lunch specials are the best thing about this place. They are the main reason I come in! Good sushi, good appetizers, and decently quick service for sushi. I've never had a bad experience here, and the inside is always clean and inviting"
"We had New Years Eve reservations and while I may not make that particular choice again, I will always go back to Mt. Fuji. Hibachi is an experience and almost always worth the wait (unless it's 2+ hours). Food is always excellent! Go when it's not a holiday is my recommendation."
"This is one of our regular go-to places for sushi. Each bite is so flavorful. You really can't go wrong. For a family of 4, we get a bunch of rolls and if we're feeling flush, we'll get salmon, tuna and eel sushi pieces. Our favorite rolls are:Okinawa RollSpicy Girl Ken CarylMangoLobster Tempura RollUnagiShrimp Tempura We've tried their Golden location but the Littleton location is our preference. The service is always great. Hardly ever a wait and the patio is heated when we go in the winter. Ice cold Ichiban and Sapporo beer in the summer. Clean bathrooms. I just wish they had a happy hour discounts for sushi!"
"The prices are a bit less -- not sure if or how long that might change. Small place inside and if they do anything at all, they need to stop having SO many menus!!They handed us 3 physical menus. One in color with pictures and two in black and white. Prices vary between them both higher and lower. Looking around the place, there were 3 more signs with more menu "special" items. They need to stop with the menus. It's so damn messy, unorganized, and they need to streamline communication to their customers. No one wants to get a headache trying to figure out 6 menus. The server was very hands off about explaining the various menus and even said "I just work here" -- yeah you do work there, exactly!! Learn how to answer questions, paid employee who wants me to give her my money in the form of tips. I had to work for my dollars why do some servers think they don't have to work for theirs? The rolls were fine. I didn't like their naruto roll very much (wrapped in cucumber). It's just overload there and too much going on for such a tiny spot. The need to organize and clean it up.The scallion pancakes were a bit oily but really tasty for something so simple."
"I came for a light dinner and sat at their curved white wood bar. Their prices have not increased. Service was very quick. I started with a large glass of fresh iced black tea. I got the Nana Tuna Poke bowl with no rice. Plenty of seaweed salad, diced cucumber and avocado slices were included. I got a cup of Forest Child soup made with mushrooms, onions and carrots. For sushi (you can't avoid rice) was 8 pieces of the Spicy Tuna roll. All good. My server, Kevin H was pleasant & got me a free refill for the iced tea."
"Solid 4 star sushi pick in Colorado.Being from So Cal I doubt I'll ever be able to find sushi in Colorado as good as it is from my hometown or other places right on the ocean. With that being said, this place does do a good job in satisfying my cravings. The heaven and hell roll was our favorite roll. The place itself is very large with plenty of room for seating. There's also lunch sushi specials on basic rolls. Our service was good, our waitress checked on us multiple times.Overall, not a bad place, I could potentially come back but I'm still trying to find a place that hits a 5 star.Still good, recommended.Happy eating!!"
"Go Fish has stood the test of time and has proven to be a reliable spot for sushi. Prices are right with no rolls over $20. You never leave here hungry.I've never strayed away from the sushi. They do have appetizers, kitchen items like fried rice and tempura dishes, and desserts. I've always been in a sushi mood here. They do have a vegetarian/vegan menu as well! And to be honest, we've never been disappointed. Here are the specialty rolls I ordered last time we dined in a few weeks back.+Fantasy Roll // spicy salmon, crunch, masago, avocado, mango, topped with seared togarashi salmon and white tuna, crispy rice puff, eel sauce, wasabi mayo.+Triple X Roll // spicy yellowtail, spicy tuna, crunch, jalapeño, topped with seared tuna, garlic chips, eel sauce, house sauce.Dependable sushi here at Go Fish. It's right on the main drag of Broadway on a lively corner, so expect to see some type of action while you're here. Once you're inside, you'll be taken care of. Weather permitting, sit outside on the patio!"
"Such a a great value! We have been taking our son here since he was two. It's great for families and the service is so quick in case little ones have a small bandwidth for dining. We love the creative rolls and the generous menu! Service is always 10/10 too."
"For the location and price, this place gets a 5 star from me. It's conveniently located on 16th and near convention center, etc, service was nice and quick, and the price was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Is it the best quality for sushi? Nope. But for the price they charge, they deliver much more than expected."
"Kassai Sushi is a true find. The fish is impressively fresh, and the sashimi portion is definitely generous. What's even more surprising is that the prices are quite reasonable for the quality you get.Walking into Kassai Sushi feels like discovering a local gem that's been around forever. It's unpretentious and has that cozy mom and pop shop vibe. The sushi here is top-notch, rivaling even the fancier places in town without the unnecessary fuss. For a sushi experience that focuses on great flavors, good portions, and wallet-friendly prices, Kassai Sushi hits the mark. It's a local spot that doesn't compromise on quality, making it a serious contender against the pricier sushi joints. Definitely worth checking out!"
"A friend and I went right at opening (11am) for lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. We shared 4 rolls. The different fish all tasted really fresh... the rice was cooked perfectly and really nice texture. Overall, very very happy with this place. Not sure how it is when it gets busy, but I'm very excited to go back!! Ambiance was nice...good spot to hang out with friends. Everything felt/looked clean, too."
"We've been here twice now for happy hour, the food is incredible and the service is super friendly. The nigiri pieces are really well prepared (with warm rice of course) and the 2 fancier rolls they have (the butter one and the spicy one) are amazing."
