"Probably the best meal I've had since living in Denver for the last 7 years. We went with friends and decided to splurge on the Omakase and so happy we did. It wasn't cheap , but had zero buyers remorse. It was 10 plates and by the last plate we were pleasantly full. I wish I could remember what each plate was, but once again hands down my favorite meal in Denver. Service was impeccable. The waitress went over the menu and told us what everything was and provided recommendations on what we should do. Would recommend if you love sushi and willing to spend the $ a perfect place to go on a date night."

Food : sushi I would give 3.5, cheese Rangoons 5 stars and then my entre was not what I completely expected. I got Kung Pao Chicken , but got it with steak instead. I would give this dish 1 star. It's not at all like the Kung Paos I've had before. It was tasted like creamy peanut butter as the sauce which was way way way too much. Not sure if it's supposed to taste like that , but I couldn't finish it. I wouldn't let this stop me from going back because of a poor choice on my end."

"Happy hour. The good: super fast! My specialty cocktail was delicious and half price. The bad: I ordered a fish roll and it literally came out in one minute so I know it was pre-rolled and tasted at least a day old. The tempura was lightly battered and yet still greasy. The cucumber salad was one note vinegar. The server was quick and courteous. Happy hours are supposed to sell you on the food so you come back for dinner and I won't be doing that."

"I have fond memories of Sushi Bay 17. My partner and I came here on a whim one weekday evening, and it was completely empty. We were immediately seated, and I ordered some delicious hot sake. We also placed an order for 3-4 sushi rolls, which were reasonably priced... as advertised on their website.Partially I think it's because the rolls have less ingredients and are thinner than other sushi places, but honestly I prefer being able to fit the sushi in my mouth. Some spots get so carried away with the size of their sushi rolls! Can't remember the names of what we got, but they were all filling.I'd definitely come here again, especially for their lunch specials. Or just easily order take-out through their website. Plus, I didn't realize there's a karaoke room in the back!? There's more to Sushi Bay 17 than meets the eye. Lots of mixed reviews on Yelp but worth trying in my opinion."

"Beautiful, delicious sushi!Osaka Sushi is a huge winner in the sushi department for having an amazing selection of rolls, reasonable prices, beautiful presentation, and awesome desserts!Had the opportunity to finally check out Osaka Sushi after a friend of mine raved so much about it. I may be weird, but I actually love fruit in or on top of my sushi so whenever I'm at a new sushi place I scan the menu for a) rolls with any fruit like mango, strawberry, or kiwi, b) spicy rolls with spicy salmon or tuna, and then c) tempura rolls. Osaka Sushi has a great selection and some very unique rolls as well. I ordered the tropicana roll and ichiban roll which satisfied my fruity and spicy sushi cravings, respectively. The tropicana roll is one of their newer rolls and includes shrimp tempura, crab meat, cucumber, kiwi, kiwi sauce, tempura flakes, and red tobiko. The ichiban roll is shrimp tempura & crab meat topped with spicy tuna, spicy mayo, and sweet eel sauce. My friends ordered the avalanche roll, oh baby roll, and two others that I don't remember the name of. The avalanche has baked salmon, crab, shrimp tempura. Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved the ichiban, tropicana, and avalanches rolls! The two other rolls I tried were also great. Despite being fairly full, of course we had to try dessert.I ordered the berry paradise cheesecake, while our friends had the tempura ice cream and creme brulee. All of the desserts were beautifully presented, with beautiful plate art. Not only beautiful, but they were also delicious. I love the care in the presentation that Osaka delivers for both their sushi and desserts!Friendly staff, plenty of seating. Five stars! Definitely one of my favorite sushi restaurants - wish it was closer!"

"Not impressed to be honest! Came here to try tonight being new in town and walking in I was impressed how nice and clean it was inside with very modern Asian flair. Got seated right away because we were the only people there. A few turn offs were the lady constantly sweeping the restaurant including user our feet and table while we were seated. Food was very Panda Express tasting and was not very impressive. We had the Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Pork fried rice and chicken pad thai. Food was edible but not very impressed at all. Won't be hurrying back that's for sure."

I miss my go-to Izakaya place in San Jose after moving to Denver a year ago, and Amu filled that void.Came here with 3 others and we all opted for omakase so that we could have our server decide our dishes and portions for us. Instead of it being served as individual courses, they served it family style and then charged prices a la carte, which I appreciated the transparency of. We had a total of 10 dishes (they brought out two portions of the soba) including 2 desserts, so I won't list everything we got but I will list the dishes that were stand outs: Dipping soba with duck - amazing! Broth was light but flavorful. Noodles were cooked perfectly.Sashimi - we had salmon, hamachi, bonito, albacore. All were super fresh.Seared duck breast - perfectly cooked with some pink and lightly seasonedSesame ice cream - strong sesame flavor and a light touch of sweetnessWe also ordered a full bottle of cold sake to go with our meal. Our entire meal was nicely paced and we were full but not overly stuffed. They add an automatic 20% tip, but the entire check still came out to be reasonable overall. One in color with pictures and two in black and white. Prices vary between them both higher and lower. Looking around the place, there were 3 more signs with more menu "special" items. They need to stop with the menus. It's so damn messy, unorganized, and they need to streamline communication to their customers. No one wants to get a headache trying to figure out 6 menus. The server was very hands off about explaining the various menus and even said "I just work here" -- yeah you do work there, exactly!! Learn how to answer questions, paid employee who wants me to give her my money in the form of tips. I had to work for my dollars why do some servers think they don't have to work for theirs? The rolls were fine. I didn't like their naruto roll very much (wrapped in cucumber). It's just overload there and too much going on for such a tiny spot. The need to organize and clean it up.The scallion pancakes were a bit oily but really tasty for something so simple."
