"I am so excited and sad to have discovered this bakery. Excited to have found a place where I can find gluten-free pastries and a variety of baked goods (not just sweet but also bread and biscuits, etc). I am gluten-sensitive so this find is important to me. I'm sad because this place has been around for well over a year and I'm only discovering it now and also, I'll have to control myself and resist to stop at this place and buy myself something yummy. I want to try all their goods!! They had such a wide variety of delicious things to try. It was honestly hard to pick what to try. I had my eye on their soft pretzel, tiramisu, lemon bars and their cinnamon rolls (you can have them with or without icing and they even have ones you can take home to bake). Today I bought 2 of their pastries first, their strawberry Whoopee pie (seasonal flavor for the summer). In the fall I was told they'll have pumpkin whopper pie, peppermint for Christmas and red velvet for Valentine's Day. The strawberry Whoopee pie was so delicious and moist. It didn't have a powerful strawberry flavor but it was still yummy and went well with my iced coffee. I should have asked her name(she may have been the owner or manager) but she was so welcoming and friendly and helpful. She explained everything about their products and their options and asked about my allergen concerns. I will have to edit my review when I try the Tres Leches cake. This type of cake has been a long time favorite of mine and I have never found a gf option before until now. If you have a gluten sensitivity or Celiacs then please treat yo' self and go to Crestone bakery!"
"This one is an easy five stars. We discovered Just Be Kitchen before the pandemic and fell in love with the breakfast burritos. We have had many items on the menu and even purchased the make your own brownie mix for home. This is a top notch spot for anyone looking for a fresh made, high quality and ingredient conscious food experience. Everything we have eaten here has always been so perfectly delicious. Breakfast burritos on a weekend morning after a walk around town are perfect. Outdoor seating makes for a great option if the weather is right and a brownie for breakfast is never a bad thing. Great service. High quality ingredients."

"This young counter business is worth a visit. Mediterranean fare is an obvious choice with Chef David Schloss who used to work with Safta. With his every own recipe created this uber-smooth lotion-like hummus. Lena Young who's engaged to Dave and cute as a button makes sure things are smooth out front. They opened in June 28 of last year. Everything is made fresh. Salads, sauces and that rotisserie chicken is one of the best! Moist and as a sandwich is unbeatable! We had the #2 version the Classic Gyro prep. Love it! Oh they have wines and beers! Tip: their fries are amazing! Great friendly service! They are busy, the entire menu can be made vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free by request. Who's Sonny? It's their 120 lbs Great Pyrenees that turns 4 today! Happy Birthday Sonny!"
"We got curbside take out today. First time and will definitely be back, likely in person next time. Was feeling lazy this evening and with lots to do, take out seemed like a great option. We usually do udom Thai but I had heard great things about this place so decided to switch it up. We got level 2 spice cup of Tom Yum, level 3 spice on double beef drunken noodles and spicy basil fried rice. Everything was fantastic. They were even right on time with our food when we pulled up. The Tom yum with tofu was so great and our toddler said not spicy! Happy we found another go to Thai spot nearby."
"I was in the neighborhood around lunch time and remembered Dough Counter had slice specials from 11a-3pm. You walk,m in and order at the counter then they bring it out to you. Two patios, one facing Colorado then another on the Panera side. I got the simple salad which was enough for two meals and a Sicilian slice, again, enough for two meals. Everything was absolutely spot on and I love supporting local business!Props to whomever is in charge of the playlist, the music is fire!"
"Food is great. Lots of dairy free, vegan, and gluten free options. It is a little expensive, especially the bread loaves. The desserts aren't too expensive though"
"The only thing I'm mad about is how long it took me to try this place. The flavors? Incredible. Love being able to pick the spice level since I'm a baby. We got two naans, samosas, lamb tikka, butter chicken and honey curry for 100. More expensive than some take outs? Sure? Quality and flavors worth it? 100. And we had enough for dinner and leftovers for two lunches. Will definitely definitely order again."
"Went on a trip to Denver recently and I am a big new wave coffee shop guy. I was shocked with the amount of options available in Denver. With all the competition, River and roads coffee was able to stand out. The coffee was amazing. I went with my usual cortado and my girlfriend got two different lattes over the course of two days and hers were also excellent. Usually a spot that has great coffee doesn't have good food, luckily for us, River and roads have a great food selection as well. We stayed at an Airbnb close to the MLK location and would recommend anyone to stop by if they're local."
"The best Indian food I've had in colorado so far. Delicious butter chicken, dal soup, and saag paneer. Flavorful, warm, complex. Nice service, and I enjoyed the bowls the food was platted in. It wasn't fancy by any means, but a great quick easy meal. Probably wonderful for takeout. Great garlic naan too!"
"Food was great...we started with the Italian wedding soup which had a very flavorful broth and the most tender tiny meatballs. Next I had the veal parmigiana and substituted papardelli for the penne, the veal was very tender and delicious. My husband had the wild boar papardelli which was very tasty. We finished with the Grand Marnier crème brûlée and cafe Americano. Our server was very attentive despite being very busy.A very nice meal, we're bringing home two boxed leftovers...dinner tomorrow!"

Tried the 7 layers bar and pumpkin cheesecake. Both were delicious. The pumpkin cheesecake was exceptional! Service was fast and friendly and the inside of the shop was clean. Great place to stop by for desserts. It was around $12 total for two pastries.

Do more with less! As my friend says "ain't no fun if the vegans can't have none" Decorated in blue and white, this place feels like a cloud feast for both your eyeballs and your belly, and a testimste of how much you can do with a little natural light. Guy Fieri was right...the dumplings are so savory! The staff is patient with indecisive guests (ie me), checks in on you, and thanks you for your patronage. You finish your meal without feeling heavy, or overindulgent, and can walk to a handful of hotspots in the surrounding area. I walked to this location, so I cannot speak to parking, but as a non-local I can say, I'd certainly return for a meal and would feel more than comfortable dining solo, for work, or with family.

This review is for their takeout. Love this spot, it's our go to place for when we're craving some comforting Thai food. The khao soy here is excellent - they really bring out the flavor of the broth. I usually get it with shrimp and they can pack in the heat if you ask. It's so good, my mouth is watering as I write this review(!!) Some other favorites are the drunken noodles, green curry and spicy udon(a new favorite). Wish they delivered to our area though, they aren't on Uber eats or DoorDash either.

I was sad to miss an Elite pizza party here last month. So I was glad to get a chance to try it out for lunch last week. The place is very clean, including the all gender restrooms. (See my photo of the cool art in the restroom I used!) Service was friendly and attentive. Mr H. and I shared 3 tenders, which were brought to us piping hot while the pizza was being prepared. I wasn't a fan of the batter until I saw that it was gluten free. Then I was very impressed with the quality. The chicken was moist & fresh and.the Raspberry Sesame Chili sauce unique. Our NY Dough Counter Supreme (requested without green peppers) was hot and loaded. I honestly haven't seen that much meat on a pizza in years, and the Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, and Ground Beef were high quality. The mushrooms were thick and juicy. I appreciate the time they take to prepare their dough. It is so much healthier, as well as delicious. Mr H. enjoyed it, but he said he had expected to be blown away and wasn't. He did promise we would be returning, though, and I look forward to trying the Sicilian. The one at our neighboring table looked so amazing!

We used Wave the Grain to cater our wedding and it was a wonderful experience. I (the bride) have celiac disease, and need to be strictly gluten-free--it was such a relief to have a completely gluten-free wedding. They were very helpful and communicative by email, and the food was absolutely delicious!! They also decorated the cake to match my dress :)I always drop by for a sweet treat whenever I'm nearby. I love this place. And I'll be ordering one of their cakes for my birthday this year for sure!

I have been on an Indian food kick lately and this place was fantastic! I got it for carry out and everyone was so friendly with a very casual vibe. The chicken tikka was delicious and so was the garlic naan. However, the chicken vindaloo wings were OUTSTANDING! I enjoyed that dish so much and everyone needs to get it.

Rivers and Roads is a great spot to enjoy:- A nice, trendy coffee shop setting.- WiFi to work from inside.- The outside 'good' dog-friendly patio for fresh air & hopefully some sunshine. We ordered some gluten free lemon donut holes and an oat milk matcha latte with simple syrup. Both items were tasty and quenched the cravings! Left our tummies very happy! The menu has a range of food items to try and they do also provide doggy treats for your furry family members! A nice touch!

"Poke, poke, I love POKE! After two visits to Denver Poke Company, I can safely say, "I'm a fan!" Why you ask? Let's talk about it:1. Denver Poke Company is located on Platte St. in the heart of the Highlands neighborhood. There's limited metered street parking nearby, but convenient light rail access.2. The staff is super friendly and more than happy to guide you through building the poke bowl of your dreams. 3. They offer my favorite Aloha Maid Pass-O- Guava drinks to go with my bowl. Def the perfect pairing. 4. They serve up either pre-selected bowls or build your own customizations. I opted for a customized bowl piled high with bamboo infused rice, salmon, spicy tuna, seaweed salad, crab salad, edamame, pickled ginger, furikakae, and spicy poki sauce. YUM!5. Everything tasted wonderfully fresh and extra delicious. Just how poke should.Denver Poke Company is just what I needed to curb my poke craving."
"4.5 stars. I love that the Curtis Park location has the same "safe space" vibe as the original but still feels unique. Butter Coffee is my favorite thing to get, though you can explore all their lovely latte variations. I had the Sausage Breakfast Sandwich, which was SOOO good! Surprising burst of flavor.Much smaller location with less tables if you're planning to get work done. Wi-Fi didn't seem to be available as advertised unfortunately, but maybe it was just that day. I just had to take a Zoom call from my phone outside on the front patio which wasn't ideal but made it work."
"I went in the afternoon on a weekday and they still had a ton of the mini bundts in tons of flavors. It was summer and they even had pumpkin! I had the creamsicle and the chocolate, which were both incredibly moist and the icing was just sweet enough."
"Curiosity wins! So it all started with a coworker's lunch. I was walking by and saw her enjoying something I had never seen before so I asked her where she got it and she said, "Zao off Cottonwood!" I knew I had to go. When I arrived at Zao I was unsure what I saw at work but described it in 10 words-- it was green, had steak, and other yummy ingredients inside! The register person said, "Oh, you want the bahn mi wrap!" Let's do this! They let me choose ingredients so it was loaded with steak, rice, carrots, cucumbers, jalapeños, and sauces. I left a two in the tip jar and the cashier mentioned he collected coins and bills! When I said that I did too and that I like the older eagle quarters he gave me an older 92 quarter!I found a seat with a simply spectacular view! I felt like an emperor on a hill. I took a bite and started to smile. Then took a second and third bite, and by the fourth it was Zaoabunga!! The combination of flavors and ingredients in this wrap definitely pop! When business slowed on the line the staff hustled and kept the seating area spotless. The kitchen was also spotless, which is difficult to do on a busy line. A gentleman came out and took my basket and foil and asked me how I liked it. Loved it! Take it from a long time Yelptastic this place is a must and won't break the bank."
"I love this bakery so much! I have severe nut allergies, so it's nice to know that this facility is nut free and is very aware of common allergens. The scones are my favorite but everything I've tried there is great."
"We've enjoyed this family run spot for years. It's always fresh with very generous portions and delish. You really can't go wrong with anything here but I usually get the chicken shawarma plate with garlic sauce. I challenge you to eat it all including the pita!! The other dish that is out of the world is the falafel. I never had delectable falafel until I came here. It melts in your mouth! Please try it and it'll change your life. You'll realize what the humble chickpea can really be! Oh and the hummus. Spectacularly creamy, fresh and oh so tasty.Next topic is the price. You can't have a great restaurant with fresh food and pay your employees fairly for a $7 huge plate of food. It's just not possible. I gladly pay the prices here to support local and have the highest quality food. It's the freshest you can find.Lastly is the customer service. They are just delightful. Helpful. Efficient. Smiles. Supportive when you can't decide. I never walk away feeling less than completely satisfied."
"We came here on a Saturday night for dinner, and there wasn't many people. We got a table right away for the two of us. It's a well decorated restaurant and I like the ambience. The menu had a good variety. The waitress was really nice and gave us some good recommendations. I ordered the tandoori chicken and my friend ordered the chicken masala. The food came out pretty fast and we each tied each other's food. We both liked it. They give a pretty good portion. And prices weren't bad. I would go back for Indian food. But I heard that it's a chain and I have one closer to me, so I'll probably go to that one."
"I adore this place and have been several times because my best friend is gluten free, as are her children. The whole bakery is gluten free, making this the best place to get them treats.I have also fallen in love with these decadent desserts. They are small and not too heavy of a treat, but they pack a punch. The owner is so nice and I've always had a good check out experience. The place is super cute and the flavors are always unique and interesting. They do large and small orders, I would love to have them do an event sometime!Go visit!"
"This is a hidden gem. The front looks plain and when you step inside, you wonder if it's the same place. Nicely decorated with Thai decor, ample seating with real wood tables and chairs. The service was top notch as our waitress was this older lady and she was so sweet. The Thai ice coffee came in a nice glass. The calamari was a little chewy but still tasted good. We ordered the pad eggplant and the teriyaki Diamond. Both were very tasty. In the background played some lite music and my friend and I were able to converse easily. Great meal!"
"We came here because my friend recommended it for us all to meet up at this restaurant. Since she's a local, I always take recommendations from ppl. It used to be a gas station, so to see how everything was renovated was interesting. It's a very casual place, and reservations aren't necessary. Since my friend goes their often, she placed an order for many dishes, especially the ones that would take a while. I enjoyed all of the dishes like the green circle chicken was so delicious. I wouldn't have minded another one. The appetizers' homemade bread, pork belly, and cauliflower were phenomenal. I suggest if you're in the area to check this place out. The service was really great here as the waiter was very attentive and great with kids. If you're looking for outdoor seating, this place has it too."
"I'm a private chef and my clients are gluten free. I found this place after researching other bakeries that are gluten free. My first time I got the soft rolls, sliced sourdough and 3 cookies for my clients. HOLY WOW! It's incredible!! Other G/F products I've tried, have been dry, crumbly and not enjoyable. But these products were delicious, soft and moist. I will 1000% be coming back for ALL my products. I cannot wait to try the pasta as well. Also, the pricing is fair as well!!"
"The food was excellent I'll say upfront. The process to order was cumbersome at best. You'll only order after you download the app, add your weight, height, physical makeup, address, email, phone number, credit card. Then after adding all this data you'll get to pick a bowl. The options are good! The app in itself still needs work. Took a minute to find alternative options to the first picture offered. Again, the food was great! We saw 2 other couples arrive and struggle quite a bit in the app setup process to order lunch. Staff are very nice people."
"Excellent Authentic Thai, This spot has been our go-to for a number of years now I'm just now getting around to getting a review done. I get a sense of soup *azi vibe when ordering over the phone or online, outside of that they know their cuisine well."
"I finally made it here after hearing about it from several people. Cranelli's is quite busy with people seated outside and inside. The environment can be quite loud making conversations difficult. So keep that in mind. The prices are reasonable and if you check in for Yelp your first time, you get garlic knots for free. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was delicious. It's creamy and it's just super tasty. If you order it with chicken, it's like the Olive Garden one. The Arancinis are a tasty appetizer and it's just like a giant deep fried cheese ball. The garlic knots are full of flavor. They have specials every now and then. I ordered the strawberry margarita and that was quite delicious. It's also a lot bigger than I assumed."
"I didn't even know this place existed despite visiting Arvada a good chunk of times! It's pretty hidden behind the old town Arvada. The inside is ultra cute and right when you walk in you are greeted by the famous Lofi girl doing her homework from YouTube playing some cozy music in the background. They have a range of different stuff here. My parents and I got ramen while my fiancé got the drunken noodles. My dad and I got the 303 Ramen. It's pretty unique and has a kick to it. There's a bunch of cheese in it but it's all melted into the bottom so be sure to scoopity scoop to eat with your ramen. Broth is tasty. My mom's Tonkotsu Ramen was apparently not impressive. She said it was salty and reminded her too much of instant noodles. My fiancés drunken noodles were apparently quite spicy and he had a pretty high tolerance for spicy stuff. If this was how it's like for medium spice I wonder how the maximum spicy level would be! Oh and the appetizer platter was fun, but I only enjoyed the steamed dumplings. Not bad of a place if you're craving all this stuff."
"The Spice Room did it again-amazing Indian food! We ate way too much went to bed extra full but when the food is that good how do you stop? The chicken Shahenshah is our favorite dish and we always get that with naan and we've started getting the french fries because french fries and curry is just an unbeatable combination. I'm a big fan of their Chana saag and the sag paneer also very good. In fact I've never had a bad meal there.Lately we order all of our spice room online and pick it up and eat it at home and I've been really impressed by their commitment to using sustainable packaging. Everything almost everything that they use is compostable, which is amazing."
"Acova is home to one of the best patios in all of Denver. I'd love nothing more than to give them higher praise, but I've left here wanting more on numerous occasions. From the same ownership as The Hornet on South Broadway, Acova took over this place from Patsy's, a beloved restaurant from Denver's yesteryear. Visually and aesthetically, they're doing it right. Execution of food and service though could use a reboot.I brought my parents here when they were in town, because I knew it'd be a wonderful atmosphere for dining al fresco. The meal almost never even took place, because when we arrived we were ignored for about five minutes. This wasn't a weekend, it was a normal night during the week. No hostess, server, bartender, etc. acknowledged us. We were on the verge of leaving, but I walked up to the bartender and eventually it all get settled. This is a huge pet peeve of mine, it's like ignoring someone that walks into your house! My dad and I ordered wings to start and these were the star of the show for me. The wings were crispy and well cooked. I wish I doubled down and ordered a second portion of them to be honest! For mains, I ordered the beef short ribs and they were served over risotto. The short ribs were relatively tender and had nice flavor. The risotto, however, was just not good. It's a tough dish to make don't get me wrong, but I couldn't even finish my plate because the texture and taste was off.We also had an issue with one of my family's dishes that was wrong, but eventually they made it right. I appreciate that the server and the GM actually took responsibility and ownership of the situation. I will give them kudos for that! Ultimately they were nice and tried to make up for the previous blunders of the evening.Am I running back? Absolutely not. I've been here a few times over the years and this experience matches all my other ones. But if you simply want to have a few drinks on the patio and soak up the sun, this is an excellent place to be when in LoHi."
