Looks like they provide free sides with your entree orders. Clean and bright dining area. Large shared parking lot. He chose chicken chow mein and I ordered beef chow fun. We got Singapore noodles to go. The chow fun was good. Tasty and not oily. The chicken chow mein sauce was good. He complained that there were too many veggies and not as much chicken for a chicken dish. The veggies were fresh and I did like them with the sauce in the white rice. Yum!"

Christian B. "Ive been hearing rave reviews about this place, so it was about time for me to check it out for myself. I came on a weekend evening and the place was packed! But that didnt stop the host from finding us a seat and the waitress from taking our order in a quick and timely manner. The service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh, hot, delicious and very generous portion sized ( I actually had to get a to-go box because of the overwhelming size). One thing that I found interesting is that instead of a fortune cookie that most Chinese places serve after the meal, this place serves you little hot glazed bite sized donuts."

Pedro P. "Fantastic find! We arrived on a Friday night and were not disappointed at all. At first, the restaurant did seem a little unorganized as we were waiting by the door for a few minutes without being acknowledged, but once they sat us down, everything fell into place. Not only was the staff attentive, they were very quick to get us waters, menus, and get our orders out. We ordered 5 entrées to share, and we were not disappointed. The food was perfectly seasoned and was so flavorful. The spicy dishes had a kick, which was nice. We did try to not go too spicy as we were all sharing, but even the "hot" level did its thing! We've been talking about this place since we left, and can't wait to come back. Also, they were playing 2000's music which really made the ambience even better! Good food and great vibes!!"

Everything tasted fantastic. Thanks for a great meal. Come check this place out on this side of town."

HUGE portions, and delicious flavor. I ordered the Thai Basil fried rice and was able to eat the rest for dinner. This is definitely one of the best Chinese food places in the City Park/Uptown/Congress Park area. Only second to Peters. A must try."

I really appreciate the cooks visible and a bar seating area. We went on a Saturday night around 6pm and luckily we were able to be seated right away! Food --Chilled Tofu 5/5 -- my favorite dish!! Everything paired so well together and it was spectacular. It is really flavorful and the juice can be overpowering but I rec eating it with rice!! Hong You Chao Shou 5/5 -- really tasty and flavorful. The chili oil is a little spicy and would rec putting it on the side. Mushroom Fried Rice 4/5 -- the rice was really great and the mushroom was super flavorful! The only thing I felt about this dish was that it was a little salty. Braised Pork Shank 5/5 -- the flavor was amazing! When you make a sandwich, it pair nicely was the fermented veggies! It complimented each other. Overall, I was definitely amazed by the food! The service was great when it came to filling our cup but our waitress didn't really come by often. Def great!"

Stefanie C. "Trying to decide where to eat on Broadway is a WHOLE thing. So many options, not enough time. I can't remember why we ended up at Karma, but I'm pretty sure it was because the friend I went with is obsessed with the lychee martinis and spicy edamame. And we really wanted some sort of Asian soup. All the above 100% lived up to the hype!Parking can be a challenge on Broadway, but it's not too bad if you arrive shortly before people get off work, around happy hour time. I think the wait staff became amused by how many orders of spicy edamame we kept putting in... like three, including one to-go. I had a lychee martini, which was strong and not to sweet. Both of us also enjoyed delicious bowls of soup.Would love to come back at least for the lychee martini and edamame! They have a ton of other great menu items I'd love to try, especially since I'm always on the hunt for the best Asian restaurants in Denver. Come here for a date, with friends and family, or by yourself. I found it to be a peaceful (read: not rowdy) experience that was the exact vibe I was looking for."

It was a bit slow but I appreciated it :)(I've realized that this place used to be called Spicy Basil but got a new menu and updated to Honey Basil!)We got served water and the server told us about the menu and food since it was our first time. We got recommended the Garlic Pepper Udon which caught my attention! Our server also informed us about their specials, they had buy one get one free on beers. We both got Coors light to enjoy but what a great deal! I was so excited to hear that lol. We ordered: - Spicy Basil Fried Rice: Very delicious and has a good kick of spice with the jalapeños that they add.- Pad See Ew: So yum! Simple but the flavor of this dish was fantastic, just a solid classic!- Lastly, Garlic Pepper Udon, which was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The recommendation sold us and it did not disappoint. We decided to get wings - that's typically not we would order, we usually do a only wings dinner but decided to give it a try based on the rave reviews - so glad that we listened to them. The dipping sauce is on par with expectations - you have to try it. We also got the twice cooked pork - portion size is huge and among the two of us with these two dishes, we still had to get a doggy bag. We got the coconut cheesecake with pandan cream - a bit dense but not your usual cheesecake for sure. All in all, good experience at this Michelin recommended restaurant. Recommended"

John D. "Too Pig to FailBrainchild of Chef Natascha Hess, who's family heritage couldn't be further from China, but after spending three summer's living abroad with a Chinese family, quickly fell in love with the food, culture, and flavors of the region. And thus, the Ginger Pig was born. Chef Hess has managed to parlay her fantastic cooking into multiple TV appearances (Chopped S54E5 & Beat Bobby Flay S31:E2), as well as recently earning multiple Michelin Bib Gourmand awards, which is given to "...restaurants that our inspectors consider to be the best value for money within our selection."The Good:*Friendly service*Order at the counter and they bring out your meal to you, but no worries they actually pace out the food beautifully. *Beijing Dumplings were unreal and packed with tons of flavor. *Great bar program and local brews on-on-tap *Seems like a silly thing, but their pickled cucumbers were quite tasty. I'd buy a few jars of that to take home. *Chinese BBQ Pork Shoulder (aka Char Siu) was mind-blowingly fantastic. Tender, with a nice crisp exterior and a great char to go with the sweet-heat glaze. 10 out of 10 would definitely order again. *And speaking of mind-blowing, the Hong Kong French Toast was also amazing. The crispy exterior and soft custardy middle was heaven on a plate. Another 10 out of 10--SAVE ROOM AND GET THIS!!The Meh:*Interior is very cramped and there is some tables where you might have to share space with strangers, if that's your bag, baby. *Recently opened new location in Boulder is take-out only. *Wasn't really a fan of the Auntie Zhang's Chinese Noodles, as the glass noodles seemed kinda undercooked and the sauce just seemed to be missing something. Don't get me wrong, it was ai'ight, but just nothing I'd order again. The Ugly:*Parking is a bit of a shit-show as their parking lot holds maybe a half-dozen (properly parked) vehicles, and the street parking is a bit hit-or-miss. Conclusion: We only had time for two meals in our short one-day stay in Denver and Ginger Pig was a fabulous decision. Highly recommended."

Tammy N. "So I was in the neighborhood and wanted Chinese food and I had never eaten here before. I decided to check it out. Located in an unassuming strip mall area, the restaurant is fairly small but decorated nicely and appeared clean. I entered and a woman said "Sit wherever you want." So I found a seat and proceeded to wait. The restaurant wasn't busy. There were only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant. I waited quite some time and finally flagged down a server. She was an older lady, who literally was glaring at me as she approached me! I politely asked if I could get some service and she stomped off without saying a word. I was starting to get up to leave when a younger woman came to take my order. I was hesitant to stay, but thought " what the hell" and placed my order. It took quite awhile for my food to come out and lo and behold, it was "Bad Grandma" delivering it to my table. She literally slammed the plate down in front of me and walked away. No offer of a refill on my drink, nothing. The food did taste very good, but rarely have I ever experienced such hostile service. Therefore for me, this is a one and done. I won't return."

Using the free online app Beyond Menu, I ordered pickup (delivery also available), which provided online updates and was ready right on time.Hot and Sour soup was spiced to the requested level and had the correct consistency expected to this soup. The entrees of Chicken Lo Mein and Roast Duck were both prepared well and were well portioned for takeout. The nice addition to the menu is the options for Roast Duck and BBQ pork, which my order of roast duck was very good. The one drawback of ordering the whole or half duck was the absence of a side of steam rice, which seems to naturally accompany a dish like this.Overall, Asian Spice still is a great place for Asian dishes and will continue to visit the restaurant in the future."

The egg rolls are big a crunchy, the noodles are a little smoky, and all their dishes have the best sauces. I used to come here a few years ago and the portions were really small and the price was really big. I think they have fixed that problem because we had plenty of food and two more meals to take home. The service is great, same owner as always and she is very pleasant. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks which appeared quickly. I was extra hungry and since they have fresh sushi and sashimi I decided on a Spicy Salmon roll - EXCELLENT! I followed it with a Happy Hour Basil Chicken Fried Rice ($11)! It was fine but not great. The fried rice was exceptional but it needed more Basil for my taste. It was still very tasty and just as tasty the next day for lunch. My wife had the Sweet and Sour Chicken which she described as excellent. All in all it was a very nice dinner! I am known by my friends for having the ability to find a great hole in the restaurants. You know those hiding out in strip malls or odd places but have great-tasting food.I am giving Lu House this rating for three key reasons.1. Food Flavor - I had the Mongolian Beef lunch special. The flavor of the beef was amazing, the beef was tender and it was a generous lunch-size portion. It came with steamed rice, an egg roll, and hot and sour soup which also delivered the flavor. I was impressed with the food and look forward to trying some of their other dishes.2. Speed - You can actually go to Lu House for lunch and be in and out in a 1/2 hour. My soup came immediately after ordering, and my lunch plate was out before I could finish the soup. The staff was impressive and the kitchen was amazingly fast. I was also impressed because they know their customers, they knew that I was new and welcomed me and made sure I understood where the lunches were on the menu.3. Price - I appreciate their effort to manage their prices. I thought they really delivered a great meal for the price. The restaurant is clean, all the tables were bussed and they give you linen napkins. All impressive in today's world. I am going to be going back and will select some other dishes to test it out, but this is a good find if you are looking for great food and do not care about the glitz."
