"Have been wanting to make the trek to the restaurant so I was excited when I saw them at the mid autumn festival. I couldn't resist and purchased the strawberry and mixed fruit sandos even though I was so full. I carefully placed them in my bag and they were still delish when I ate them at home. I made a mess, as I usually do, but they were so good. Fruits were fresh and bread so soft. It's a yes! They were also friendly. Will have to stop by the brick and mortar for more."

"First off, thank you so much for having a free parking lot. It's definitely a motivator to make it out to Carbon Coffee for a drink or a nice place to work. It is very chill and I like that there's a lot of natural light. The baristas are very friendly and kind.I do like that they have a small menu because each drink is made with high quality ingredients. I ordered the matcha (with no sweetener) and I was surprise to see the matcha whisk used to make the drink. Even without sweetener, it wasn't bitter. Very delicious. They did mention that they plan to introduce strawberry matcha and other matcha variety drinks in the future which I will be back to try."

"My coworker and I loved this little gem! Not only are the salad portions huge, but the salad options themselves were great as well. My first day here I got a salad with smoked salmon, and this was super tasty with the parsley vinaigrette. We also had the hummus to share, and the pita bread was delicious and unique. The second day we came for lunch, I ordered the roasted cauliflower pita bowl as a salad- how cool! It was also super delicious, and both the carrot dressing and tahini dressing were tasty. We had to get the hummus and pita again with our lunch because it was so addicting. Great find in this area of Denver."

"I absolutely love Rosebud. They are conveniently located close to downtown. The staff is always so friendly and always greet me with a smile. I absolutely love their dirty chai!! For now, I am stuck on the dirty chai because it is so delicious and I can't bring myself to order something else. Cafe Trung is still my favorite thing to get, but I'm starting to expand to other options.Recently visited Ti Cafe during Hello Kitty Pop-Up Week after missing the Studio Ghibli one (so sad) - it was cute! "Writing this review brings tears to my eyes because it was such a treat dining at one of Denver's first Michelin-starred restaurants. Brutø was just as you'd expect from the reservation flow on Tock to the seating process upon arrival. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and felt incredibly special throughout the evening. I'm still drooling over the menu.Everything was exquisite, served with detail and enthusiasm. My favorite dish was probably the Lamb + Eggplant because I had no idea lamb or eggplant could taste so emotional. The bison carpaccio as part of the Canapes was also delightful. I'm sure none of this will sound familiar as Brutø rotates their menu, but all I'm saying is that it's worth saving up to visit.I didn't do their alcohol pairings and went down the street for a brief happy hour instead, since we got to Dairy Block earlier than expected. From experience, call a car if you're doing any of their pairings. I had some FOMO from our neighbors that indulged. Maybe next time! I will forever cherish the printed menu from our dinner, to keep the memories alive."

"Excellent Asian cuisine!! Had been wanting to try this place for a few months the now and finally did it! Let me tell ya, it did not disappoint! We did walk-in and ordered to go and probably waited about 15min. They were taking calls and helping others dine-in and were very attentive and super nice. The place is a bit small but big enough for a quick, delicious, fulfilling meal. We ordered the Sesame chicken (10/10), Generals Tso's (10/10), Mongolian Beef (10/10) and Chicken Lo Mein (10/10) everything we ordered was delicious!! It was fresh AF and the sesame chicken had the perfect crunch! They all came with a side of rice (white or fried). All the orders came with a generous amount and now we have plenty for tomorrow."

"My daughter has been going on and on about these cupcakes FOR MONTHS. Every time I'm at her place there is at least one in her fridge. Well, last night was a bday party for the boyfriends dad. She ordered a cake and because her brother and I are GF she ordered separate GF cupcakes for us. All I can say is that I generally don't bother because the texture is usually wrong or they've been frozen too long etc. This was not the case last night! I want to give them more than 5 stars!Denver's downtown area has lots of coffee shops to choose from and Purple Door was another discovery for us. We didn't have a lot of time on our vacation in Denver, so we had to choose our coffee shops wisely. And we were very happy that we got to try them out, with my parents even thanking me for bringing them here.Since they're above street level, they are accessible by stairs and by elevator. Hence the name, they have an actual purple door at the entrance, which was a very pretty dark purple color that was welcoming upon our arrival. They also have an affiliation with Dry Bones Coffee, another coffee company based in Denver.I ordered an iced mocha and a warmed up croissant. My mom had a brown sugar latte with some sort of blueberry Danish and my dad had a cortado coffee. Both my parents' coffees came with artwork on top that was still intact when both drinks were finished. Now THAT is how you create a coffee masterpiece. The iced mocha was one of the best mochas I've had on this trip and the croissant was very flaky and buttery. We enjoyed our food and drink on their spacious patio.What I noticed until long after we left is that Purple Door employs young people who have recently exited out of homelessness, with the help of the Presbyterian church not far from it. This is the real deal right here and they truly make a difference helping the homeless. We will definitely be returning to Purple Door next time we're in Denver!"

They have a seasonal menu items so take a look at that menu on the chalkboard before you decide on what to order.I love the drinks that they have. The purple haze actually tastes like a lavender lemonade so it's a nice fragrance with each sip you take. The presentation of the food is really pretty every time. I love the colors present and they give you a salad with the omelette.Today I ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was okay. The biscuit wasn't my favorite so I would have enjoyed it with the turkey sausage, gravy, the over medium eggs, and the potatoes. If you're here, must order a side of potatoes."

At glance, it's very much overshadowed by them where you might miss it especially if you are driving to find it. Parking might be tough as it's located in the Highland area. Well, I am pretty you'll manage to park for a great place like this. The offerings are quite large despite the size of the cafe. Tiny body but big heart they say when people describe something/someone with a small stature with huge personality/characteristics/generosity. This cafe is exactly that.The young lady upfront was very pleasant to me. I had all kinds of questions about the items on the menu which she patiently answered. I'm a huge Italian gnocchi fan. Their Gnocchi Alla Romana didn't escape my notice. These guys are a bit different from the traditional kind the Italians make. She described them as "polenta" in their texture but corn is not the ingredient (so they still use potatoes to make them was my impression.) They come in a set of six but the price is super reasonable at $7. And each one is a good bite size. She asked me how many of them should be warmed up/baked as they have to be cooked to be served/consumed. I asked for one to go with my doppio. Totally my bad. I should have said everything was for to-go. She then apologized saying that it was her fault not asking. This kind of polite/considerate gesture is simply top-notch. She then transferred my doppio into a to-go cup.In my car, I sipped my doppio and ate the one cooked gnocchi. And oh my heavens, the gnocchi was superbly made. As she described it, it does have a similar texture to polenta but it does taste like the gnocchi but with a different something (can't really describe how different though!!) Amazing! I can rave about this place to my friends and family but today, I chose the easiest way to do so: by posting this perfect 5-star review on none other than Yelp! Maci, you truly are a hidden gem."

From the past experience, I knew it might be hard to grab a table during the peak time in the morning especially on a Saturday. I needn't worry; there were a good number of tables available inside and outside.This place has everything: from benedicts to crepes to quiches to French toasts to fruit cups to salads, I mean you name it. Out of so many items on the menu, my friend and I went with crepes.I went with Boulder (crepe). It's got sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach, haystack goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes. I asked for an addition of one-egg scrambled. My friend went with Breakfast (crepe) (bacon, egg and cheese) with avocado addition. Just so you know, they have both savory and sweet crepes.My crepe was amazingly good; A little tanginess that comes from the sun-dried tomatoes did the magic by adding a great flavor to the entire dish. And both hers and mine crepes were a good size (we couldn't finish it so we asked for boxes.)Now, this place got busy after 11:30am. It took such a long time before our waitress got us the boxes and the bill (because she was busting her bottom.) We were very understanding of it; it appeared a little short-staffed and fortunately, we had time.We, of course, stopped by at the display of cakes and pastries to look at before walking away from the restaurant. Everything looked amazing but I went with the lemon tart. My friend got her a chocolate croissant. There was a huge display of Eiffel Tower built with Lego pieces (which had a sign that said "Do not touch"); I took a picture of it. Cookies that are shaped like Eiffel Tower were very cute."

"The good:This is a cute little coffee shop in a trendy little area in Denver. Denver has plenty of great artisanal coffee spots and Blue Sparrow shouldn't be spared. Their lattes are perfectly made and their latte art is on point. The interior has around 5-6 tables for two people. There are some high chairs for people watching. There's outdoor seating as well and some shopping spots outside so it's nice to grab coffee and walk around here. They sell classic pastries as well like croissants and cookies. The service was prompt. The prices are fair and the menu is simple and straight forward. The bad:It's a really small shop so it's more for grabbing a drink then going or sitting a little bit rather than studying all day. The interesting:They have a 2nd location in Denver as well. They sell merchandise like sweaters and candles."

It's located at York & Bruce Randolph with decent street parking. The tavern has about 8 bar seats & 10ish tables, so it's small & gets packed bc they're cranking out such good food & drinks! The owner, Henry, is from New Orleans, and he really puts his heart & soul into this spot- and shares is family recipes with our community. The cajun/creole food is to die for. Try the sampler so you can taste the gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and red beans & rice... you can also add jambalaya for $3 and try it too! I looooove Vivian's gumbo, it's his mom's recipe & the roux is so hearty... it comes without shellfish but just make sure to ask to add shrimp! The jambalaya is so savory, not at all dry. The crawfish etouffee is perfect too... a good balance of flavor in each dish & none are too salty. Oh, and the hushpuppies... they're bomb! They have a little kick of spice or jalapeño, not sure which, but they are fantastic. My stepmom loved the shrimp po'boy, I can't wait to try it when I come back. They have good happy hour specials too, and omg the hurricanes are so good & will get the job done ;) they have good drink specials too so if you don't make it for happy hour, you'll still find good deals on drinks. Krissy the bartender is awesome!It's also a Saints bar so get here early on game days, the place gets packed & is so full of good energy! They even do $2 football squares, several giveaways & free shots with each Saints touchdown!! All in all, Nola Voodoo Tavern has easily become one of my favorite spots in Denver for the best cajun food, good drinks & a great vibe :) it won't let you down! It felt nice to sit outside at a high top table since the weather was pleasant that day. The food was good, although definitely on the pricey side. I tried the monte cristo and French onion soup- yum! The only thing was that our server was a bit odd... he was listening to our conversation as he was clearing our plates and then jumped into our conversation and brought up a fairly inappropriate topic. Also, the clientele sitting inside (At least that day) were all over 60, so definitely a popular spot with the older crowd!"
