"Very friendly service. The staff member that greeted me walked me through the menu and introduced herself and welcomed me in. They just opened a few days ago so weren't serving breakfast sandwiches yet but had a nice offering of Banh Mi sandwiches and other traditional sandwiches for around $11 plus tax. They also offer a daily selection of pastries.I ordered the chicken Bahn Mi. The chicken was tender and had good flavor and the bread was incredibly tasty and crunchy. There was a nice portion of the pickled veggies and their sauce had good flavor,I was a little disappointed to see how the Vietnamese iced coffee was made -- it was poured straight out of premade bottle rather than being house made. I will definitely be returning to try some of their other sandwiches. 4.5 stars"
"I have ordered cookies from Colorado Cookie Company several times and love their homemade, perfectly baked cookies! They always send a little card or thank you note which shows they take time to make customers feel special. The taste of their cookies is spot on and like I would make myself, and I make pretty good cookies when I have time! Their oatmeal raisin is perfection for those of us who love this cookie! I just need to visit now since I have only had some treats delivered. I also appreciate that their prices are reasonable for such high quality tasting cookies."

"Well hot dang! Walked into the bakery and that first whiff of sweet heaven touched my soul like the first sip of my morning coffee. We gorged ourselves with Korean BBQ and decided we needed a sweet. Heheh, and then we found Daniel's of Paris. It is a quaint spot, but so many goodies inside! I forgot to take a picture of the displays because I was too busy drooling and deciding what i would get. My friends got the carrot cake tarte and chocolate mousse tarte. I got an Almondine, Paris Brest, and chocolate mousse tarte. Ohhh, they were DI.VINE. I loved that the filling was not too sweet - it was that perfect taste of sweet but just a little to sate your palate. I am so happy we found this place - we will definitely return!"
"I am so excited and sad to have discovered this bakery. Excited to have found a place where I can find gluten-free pastries and a variety of baked goods (not just sweet but also bread and biscuits, etc). I am gluten-sensitive so this find is important to me. I'm sad because this place has been around for well over a year and I'm only discovering it now and also, I'll have to control myself and resist to stop at this place and buy myself something yummy. I want to try all their goods!! They had such a wide variety of delicious things to try. It was honestly hard to pick what to try. I had my eye on their soft pretzel, tiramisu, lemon bars and their cinnamon rolls (you can have them with or without icing and they even have ones you can take home to bake). Today I bought 2 of their pastries first, their strawberry Whoopee pie (seasonal flavor for the summer). In the fall I was told they'll have pumpkin whopper pie, peppermint for Christmas and red velvet for Valentine's Day. The strawberry Whoopee pie was so delicious and moist. It didn't have a powerful strawberry flavor but it was still yummy and went well with my iced coffee. I should have asked her name(she may have been the owner or manager) but she was so welcoming and friendly and helpful. She explained everything about their products and their options and asked about my allergen concerns. I will have to edit my review when I try the Tres Leches cake. This type of cake has been a long time favorite of mine and I have never found a gf option before until now. If you have a gluten sensitivity or Celiacs then please treat yo' self and go to Crestone bakery!"
"5th for 2022 It has been awhile since my visit and ... and the whole place.... is in shambles. That was my 1st observation. They have moved everything around and made the place look like a fort with plastic screen to separate the customers from the rest of the bakery. This made it very hard to see what they had to offer and I could not even see the menu.My mission for the day was to order bahn mi and compare to Bale La and could not make out the choices since I couldn't really see anything. After confirming with the owner, yes, bahn mi is available and did not know what to get but did see glimpse of combination and that's what I ordered. Came back after few minutes and it was ready and $6 was the damage. Brought it home and opened it up about 2 hours after ordering it. To my surprise, the bread was still crunch, filled with plenty of sliced assorted meats and pickled vegies and spreads. It was pretty large sandwich for $6 and definitely worth it. I think Ba Le has it for about $5 but lot skinnier and also bread is different. Vinh Xuong offers bread that is closer to Italian (softer crust) verses Ba Le being closer to French banquette with hard crust.Only down side is I did not see Vietnamese coffee and I had to go to another store."
"BEST BEST BEST CROISSANT IN ALL THE LAND! Whether you're a sweet or savory croissant connoisseur, you'll find the right bite here. The pastries are made with such care and beauty that you almost feel bad diving into them. That thought leaves you quick, though. The moment your teeth sink into the crunchy layers: you're eyes will light up, dopamine will rush to your brain and you will want more and more! Luckily, I knew this would occur... so I ordered three croissants! Cinnamon Roll Croissant, Reuben Croissant and Almond Croissant. They were all more than impressive and won medals in our hearts: GOLD to the Reuben, SILVER to the Cinnamon Roll, BRONZE to the Almond. Truthfully, someone else could have placed these differently. They were all flawless and uber delicious!!Other great parts: The service is super friendly! There's plenty of spots to eat! The parking is easy! The line goes quick!"
"First off, thank you so much for having a free parking lot. It's definitely a motivator to make it out to Carbon Coffee for a drink or a nice place to work. It is very chill and I like that there's a lot of natural light. The baristas are very friendly and kind.I do like that they have a small menu because each drink is made with high quality ingredients. I ordered the matcha (with no sweetener) and I was surprise to see the matcha whisk used to make the drink. Even without sweetener, it wasn't bitter. Very delicious. They did mention that they plan to introduce strawberry matcha and other matcha variety drinks in the future which I will be back to try."
"My coworker and I loved this little gem! Not only are the salad portions huge, but the salad options themselves were great as well. My first day here I got a salad with smoked salmon, and this was super tasty with the parsley vinaigrette. We also had the hummus to share, and the pita bread was delicious and unique. The second day we came for lunch, I ordered the roasted cauliflower pita bowl as a salad- how cool! It was also super delicious, and both the carrot dressing and tahini dressing were tasty. We had to get the hummus and pita again with our lunch because it was so addicting. Great find in this area of Denver."
"With a meeting downtown, this bakery is just steps away from where I needed to be. Super convenient and worthy of the Baker's Appreciation Fee (5%) that is automatically charged on your credit card purchase. While it is not on their menu board, matcha lattes are indeed available here. I certainly appreciate the non dairy milk alternatives available for a small fee. The barista did his best with pouring latte art on my matcha canvas and serving it up with a smile :)Now for the croissant! So many choices and they are all large flakey buttery goodness! I savored every bite of the Almond croissant. It was hot and fresh out of the oven, like a big warm hug. The seating area is clean. The service is super friendly. Don't forget to sign up for their loyalty program. After two visits, I've already earned a FREE butter croissant!!See you there tomorrow :)"
"Cakeheads is fantastic! My family was meeting in Colorado for a reunion and we needed a cake for a 60th Anniversary and for my daughter who got married after COVID canceled her wedding last year. A friend recommended Cakeheads and I have to admit that I was a little uncertain because of the name Cakeheads.Well, I learned not to judge a business by its name!I spoke with Saija (spelling?) on the phone, told her about the event and thought maybe a Colorado theme might be nice. I have no artistic talent so I was having a difficult time communicating what I wanted. But Saija patiently listened to me, did some sketches, and I ordered the cake.A few days later I picked up the cake and I was amazed! Saija boxed it up for my trip back to Beaver Creek. When I got back and took out the cake, my whole family was surprised and happy! (Where did you get this cake? I've never seen anything like it!) Cakeheads made me look pretty good! And then we got to eat the cake. It was delicious. Not too sweet, and everybody loved it. The bottom cake was Italian cream cake and it was a hit. The top was an almond-raspberry cake, and it, too, was a big hit. I don't even like cake that much and I could have eaten the whole thing! We also ordered another cake that Saija made. It has the most amazing turtle on it!My family must have taken over 100 photos of these fabulous cakes.Every time I visit Colorado, I'm making a trip to Cakeheads. It was definitely worth a two hour drive to Denver. I'm amazed at their work and I am so happy they played a big part in making our family reunion special."
"Jill is AWESOME- we loved working with her as our wedding coordinator! She made everything go so smoothly- my husband and I could not get over how well everything went on the day of the wedding. In addition, her kind and relaxed demeanor really put us at ease and we always knew we were in good hands. Would definitely recommend!!"

There's good sandwiches you brag about, then there's awesome sandwiches you want to keep a secret for yourself. I found my new favorite sandwich spot and just had to share what I found! If you've had a Vietnamese sandwich before, try their pork sandwich. The bread is a tier above your typical Vietnamese banh mi bread. It's an artisan crust that's rustic and has a great crunch. The protein tastes authentic like what you'd order at a Vietnamese storefront off Federal. I love veggies and they pack plenty vinegar carrots and daikon. I wish I asked for a side of their tasty house sauce to dunk my sandwich but that's me wanting the world. If it was my first time at a Banh Mi shop, I'd try the turkey sandwich. I'm looking forward to trying the curry chicken salad sandwich on my next visit. Loving the mom and pop shop for the neighborhood. 5/5 for vibes and taste.

Great gourmet cookies. Recently had the PB&J, and even the chocoholics in my house agreed it was the best. I also like that it's a local business. Kinda dangerous, or divine intervention, now that they deliver through the delivery apps. PS this is a take out or delivery situation, not a sit down bakery.

It's impossible to give Daniel's a 5 star rating because it should be 10 stars.I've had a lot of great pastries at many places but Daniel's of Paris tops them all. The flavors are perfect, the ingredients are superb & yet not too rich. I ordered 4 pastries & each one is unique & exquisite. If you aren't sure if you should try them, you will not be disappointed. This is hands down my new favorite bakery. Thank you Daniel's of Paris-I look forward to enjoying your pastries again soon.

Tried the 7 layers bar and pumpkin cheesecake. Both were delicious. The pumpkin cheesecake was exceptional! Service was fast and friendly and the inside of the shop was clean. Great place to stop by for desserts. It was around $12 total for two pastries.

Craven moon cake and was excited they had different varieties to make into a box. I like picking my own and don't like pre boxes where they're all one flavor only. Auntie was so nice and placed my selections into the box. Got rang up and then we were good to go. Yum!

Wow, all of the croissants and pastries here!! First off, so smart to display everything on the table out front. Inside the public market and a pickup window outside if you pre-ordered.ALL OF THE CROISSANTS WERE PHENOMENAL!!! Look at the center of that blueberry cross cut. They don't skimp on the fillings here and the croissants are flaky but soft inside and so damn good. This spot will be my Denver to go now.

We've been to Carbon Coffee twice now in Aurora and wow, what a great coffee shop!! They have a great selection of coffee, tea, kombucha, matcha, chai and a wonderful assortment of pastries from a local pastry spot as well. (If I can remember the name of the place they mentioned, I'll update my review) They also have a menu of seasonal drinks, the maple pecan shaken expresso is literally one of the best cups of coffee I have had in such a long time and I got it both times we went there. The place is very clean and the staff are all so friendly and ready to help with any questions you may have. We met the owner, Benny and ended up talking to him for awhile about everything Aurora including all the coffee shops/restaurants to checkout nearby in the area and beyond. He told us they opened in September this year and so I really hope they take off and continue to do great things! He was such a nice person and I wish him nothing but success. Please go show your support to them over at Carbon Coffee, I know I'll definitely keep going back over there myself.. it's just sooo good!

Awesome vegetarian and vegan options. I love the menu here. Everything is super delicious. Prices are actually a little cheaper than I would have thought. Maybe Because it is a counter service restaurant?? In any case, I will definitely stop in here if I'm ever in the area just because of the food quality. Everything tasted so delicious.Pros:Delicious tasting food. The avocado toast was the best I've ever had. Prices are very fair. Huge parking lot. Cons:The only one I can really think of is that it's a little hard to find because it's in a parking lot with an office building.

"Beauty AND brawn, these pastries are the whole package. Not only do they look gorgeous, but they are so freakin delicious and expertly made. The flavors are extraordinary, the dough buttery, the croissant has layers on layers on layers, and on top of all that, it's rainbow inside!! Fun fun fun. The lady working there, I guess the owner/baker, is so sweet and friendly. I left with the best feeling and want to go back to eat everything else... plus seconds of everything I already had!"
"This is a little bit of a hole in the wall establishment. That means it's no frills and you know it has potential.I'd rate it in the top 1% of Banh mi options available in this mid-city. Yes there is a lot of options if you want Vietnamese food or Korean food but they are totally catering to a modified style of their food to appease the masses. Denver is only like 4% Asian people so I am not surprised they tamper down on the flavor profile at a lot of these hot spots. This banh mi reminds me of my favorite spot in the big apple. It is just as flavorful with lots of pickled daikon/carrots and the actual meat part of the matter is seasoned well. They use fresh ingredients and don't skimp on that part like some of the basic banh mi you can get at the larger Viet restaurants here.I go out of my way to obtain one of these sandwiches. I know they have other things but the sandwich gets me every time."
"I had a chance to finally stop by this cute bakery in the Washington Park area last week and had a pleasant experience. This place has an extensive menu for both sweet and savory baked goods. When I was standing in line, I had a hard time deciding on which pastry to buy. Interior decors are so eye-catching as well. Everything you see inside this bakery is vintage from 1920's era. It looks like a café in Paris where famous writers like Hemingway frequented (did Hemingway like coffee at all? Am I just making that up?) Lucky me; I ended up getting two pastries with one price, by an accident. I asked for a zucchini feta croissant but the barista (who was so pleasant to me by the way) couldn't hear me well (or the blame is on me; my voice wasn't loud enough) so he put a zucchini muffin in a little brown bag which I didn't notice until I had paid for everything (I also got me a 16oz iced black tea with light ice.) When I politely/apologetically informed him of the little error, he, of course, kindly corrected it by giving me the right pastry and allowed me to keep the muffin as well. He said, "It (the muffin) is for tomorrow's breakfast!!" What a kind gesture!! Both of the zucchini pastries were delicious. I also liked my black iced tea. I believe it's earl grey if I'm not mistaken. They put some (light amount of) cream in it but this cream did the magic. I do drink earl grey with cream in it so I wonder how he knew that without even asking me. Great job!! Right next to this quaint bakery, there exists another cute shop for gift and they are connected so you don't need to go out of the bake shop to browse this gift shop. I had my iced beverage/food in my hand but the guy at the cashier didn't seem it (I wasn't really consuming any of it anyway. Oh wait, I may have sipped my iced tea but I was very careful by not spilling it!!) What a way for two businesses to coexist by having this beautiful symbiotic relationship: sip and browse!"
"Very good bakery!!! Omg a must is the custard donut and beef curry pan. I don't even like curry but the flavors and texture work so well together. The custard donut was delicious and I loved the crunch from the cereal outside! I was a bit disappointed in the matcha cream but it was still good."
"Where to begin!? This place is phenomenally delicious! It's in a old house by I76 in the industrial area. It has a bakery and sandwiches available. The bread is fresh that day and the sandwiches are delicious! Takes me back to being at a New York City Deli! They make cookies, cannolis, and fresh pasta to go. Everything is fresh and delicious. You can tell this place makes it with love! I will definitely be back as many times as I can. I ordered the Italian Grinder, it was perfectly made! Perfect amount of meats, cheese, and dressing. Please try this place, it will not disappoint you! It's take out only, but worth the drive!"
"I'd read about this bakery on Reddit and needed to give it a try. I'm so glad that I did. Had a Spinach & feta bored that was so good I could have eaten two. And the pistachio baklava is to die for."
"Where have you been my whole life?OMGEEE so so so good and a big hit with our birthday boy and the whole party! I got exactly what I asked for -- a cake for a dear friend that we share the love of volleyball, have a huge group of gay friends and featured he's from Iowa (yay corn stalks and the corn was textured like corn!!) Also the cake was delicious and is my friend's fave -- Ho-Ho inspired so chocolate cake with buttercream icing in layers in the cake! I've lived in Denver since 2000 and this bakery has been around 10+ years -- where have y'all been my life in Denver? I dunno but I'll be back! Their bakery store is totally quaint and just what a neighbor hood bakery should be -- not to mention super friendly!"
"James and his team did a great job on our wedding cake! From the tasting session, to deliver and execution everything was amazing. We picked the Bavarian cream marble tiered cake with a semi naked frosting, as well as chocolate chip cookies, lemon bars, and brownie bites for our guests. James was super flexible with the additional treats - just ask he can probably make it for you! He's a great baker and we loved supporting this small business for our wedding. We highly recommend whether you are having a wedding, birthday, or just looking for a small treat this is your one stop shop!"
"Slowly has become one of my favorite breakfast spots. Ideal place to pick up breakfast on a sunny day since it's basically a pick up window so you will be standing outside.. and sometimes there is a line and a wait to grab the food but it does move quickly. They run out of burritos pretty often (I have actually never been able to snag one!) but my go to is a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. It's big enough for two in my opinion if you don't have a big appetite. Their coffee is also solid. They have summer specialty flavors and such if you're feeling adventurous!"
"Best coffee house and I have been to so many. Best espresso hands down. Thanks for still offering a dark roast!! Delicious menu items. Thanks for offering vegan options!!Phenomenal ambiance. Super well done. Top notch service. Best part, the entire purpose seems community focused. Check out their website for purpose statements, land acknowledgment, and upcoming events. Inclusive and safe. Just love this place!!"
"Food is great. Lots of dairy free, vegan, and gluten free options. It is a little expensive, especially the bread loaves. The desserts aren't too expensive though"
"My daughter has been going on and on about these cupcakes FOR MONTHS. Every time I'm at her place there is at least one in her fridge. Well, last night was a bday party for the boyfriends dad. She ordered a cake and because her brother and I are GF she ordered separate GF cupcakes for us. All I can say is that I generally don't bother because the texture is usually wrong or they've been frozen too long etc. This was not the case last night! The GF cupcakes are excellent and everyone raved about the cake. I'm now going to spread the word in the GF groups are us celiac's and GF sensitive peeps are always on the look out for great GF products.Thank you for bringing yum to the GF world."
"I've spent YEARS since moving back trying to find the perfect y bakery and THIS IS IT!!! First off the Pistachio Cream Puffs are a gift from the pastry GODS! There's not a cake I haven't tried and when I tell you being extra $$$ it's because you will want ten of everything. This is my go to spot and I will forever promote this place. They also have another location but I prefer the downtown location. The employees are absolutely so kind and SO talented. Like I'd marry one of you and treat you SO good for the tiny cakes you could make me."
"This place is great. The kolaches are delicious. The staff is friendly.I ordered poppy seed, which have to be ordered a day ahead. When I arrived the next day the order was ready at exactly the time they said it would be ready. I'll be coming back frequently."
"Read about The Salty coming to the Mile High..and was super excited. It did not disappoint. Gorgeous store...crazy busy with a line out the door.Donuts were fantastic...super light brioche dough.Creative flavors and designAll flavors were amazing.Highly recommend."
"Le French DTC Belleview Station offers authentic Parisian cuisine with global influences. We dined at Le French DTC for brunch and really enjoyed this casual-chic French bistro. We arrived and were seated in the main dining room. The restaurant offered spacious, informal dining with ample indoor & outdoor seating. The ambiance was delightful, and we loved the florals gracing the entrance. Server Abbey, and General Manager Reid were friendly and ensured we had everything we needed during our meal. Le French had a full coffee bar so we started with Chai Tea Lattes. The lattes had a warm and aromatic base of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, & cloves - a cozy & comforting taste. The Croque Madame was made with classic Parisian ham, gruyère, béchamel, fried egg, & served alongside a mixed green salad. This is one of Le French's most popular brunch dishes and after having it, we can see why. The outside of the sandwich was toasted crisp and generously blanketed in gruyère cheese. The inside of the sandwich was soft and soaked in a creamy cheese sauce. The salty ham added a savory element, and the fried egg with runny yolk oozed onto the sandwich from the top. This sandwich was similar to a decadent grilled cheese that was elevated to new French heights, we couldn't get enough. The Parisian Omelet was made with Parisian ham, roasted mushroom, & gruyere. The omelet was massive and stuffed to the brim with huge mushrooms and buttery, salty gruyère (which made for epic cheese pulls). The Chocolate and Fruit Crepe was made with berries, Nutella, chocolate syrup, & hazelnuts. The thin French-style pancake was filled with Nutella and then drizzled with chocolate syrup. The mix of fresh berries added a fruity, tart burst to each bite while the crunchy hazelnuts provide a wonderful textural contrast."
"I stopped in the other day to pick up pastries for my parents as a thank you for keeping my son overnight and once I walked in to their super cute shop and saw all of the yummy-ness behind the counter I couldn't resist buying something's for my household too. So the cruffin- omg wow. The lady who helped me told me they're her favorite, and now they're mine too! It like a chocolate stuffed croissant rolled in cinnamon sugar in the shape of a muffin. So amazing!"
"Happy Memorial Day bun. My go to spot when I'm in Denver. Some of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. We come for the pecan swirl cinnamon roll and the peach cinnamon roll. Definitely is a must try spot. You can't go wrong with any flavor cinnamon roll you try."
