"This place rocks. I was getting a full service done on my car at Hummels B&B Automotive across the street with 2.5 hours to spare. Hmm, what to do? After sitting on the sidewalk for about 20 minutes or so, I decided to walk in to this interesting looking joint. It was old, a little worn from the outside. And definitely gave me an old school random joint, where everyone knows your name. I believe the bartenders name was Toby or Jody. I can't quite remember but she has curly black hair, and she definitely made me feel welcome. I was a bit skeptical about ordering anything until I too a closer look at the menu-which, might add, is extremely extensive and has everything from burgers and fries to a delicious chicken and waffle sandwich. The drinks have a nice kick as well. And before I knew it, I had felt like a regular. It is in an interesting part of town, but I love the vibe, service was impeccable, the crowd was unique so I will be back."
"Solid spot to grab lunch by the Clear Creek River. The staff weren't the most attentive and the hostess wasn't the friendliest but overall it was still a pleasant experience. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Miners Salad and it was just what I needed on a hot spring day. Everything tasted fresh and the steak was cooked perfectly. My only knock was the blue cheese was a bit overpowering so perhaps a little less blue cheese and a tad more greens."

"This place has always been a favorite for my mom. Today I took her here for her usual chicken fried chicken with Jalapeño gravy, if you haven't tried the gravy it is a must! We were blessed to sit in Ashley's section, she is the kindest person I've met this month! Very friendly, patient with my mom and you can tell she loves her job. Stop in and request her section, you will be very pleased with her beauty- inside and out! The food has always been great at this location, huge shout out to the chef!"
"We've always heard great things about the Piper Inn, but we finally had a chance to try it for ourselves. The Piper Inn is definitely a dive bar - small, a little dark, but the service and food were great. They are known for their wings, but their garlic parm fries with chicken were my favorite! You have to try it."
"I got a burger and fries from here delivered. I really enjoyed it! It was priced right, the burger and toppings were very good and the patty was well seasoned. It was exactly the burger that I needed after a day of drinking. No opinion on the service and ambiance but 100% recommend this place. It deserves a higher rating for sure."
"Ok, this place was amazing. I've lived in this area for a decade and likely driven by this place 100 times. It has very unassuming signage I can barely read from the road. The sign is weathered and the place kinda looks like it might have closed ten years ago. But, what a surprise. Apparently it's a "locals" favorite and after my lunch today, I know why. We were greeted and seated within thirty seconds of walking in. The young female hostess was welcoming and chatty. Our waitress, Christina, was incredible from our first conversation forward. She was fun, friendly, efficient and professional. In a very almost friends kind of way. The food was hot, fresh and well made. The prices were much better than Denny's or a Village Inn and the atmosphere much more personable. I just might have found my new breakfast spot in my area."
"Ranch House Cafe offers a "no-frills" standard American breakfast in a diner type-environment. The diner is certainly older and has that quintessential old-town, run down look from the outside. Our waitress served us, but not with a smile. It did take quite some time for our food to come out, which is standard according to our local friends. We ordered up some breakfast items such as the Mediterranean Scamble, Avocado Vegetable Omelet, and the Huevos Rancheros. All the food items offered a solid breakfast experience with affordable prices."
"Lots of people are butt hurt at this automatic 19% service charge - so don't come. I am def a fan of this place. Otherwise - it's a lovely spot on the park, few parking spots in front if u don't live within walking distance in the hood, and lots of fabulous outdoor and indoor seating.I love that I can grab my Americano and a healthy salad. It's not going to be cheap - but this isn't your Mission star Beckon sit-down.Yes, things cost more now a days and they tell you upfront about this service charge. This is not a table service place. It's still take a number for food or wait for your coffee."
"Came to lunch with a colleague when we were attending a large conference in the Denver Convention Center across the street. It was 12:30pm on a busy Friday and business seemed quite good for them. However, we were seated quickly and the server was attentive - water, menu, and utensils came right after. We ordered the kale salad with salmon ($8 for two pieces, not bad) and a Ruben sandwich. Both were excellent! The salmon was nicely cooked to a crispy surface but inside was juicy and tender! Beautiful and spacious dining room and pleasant experience! I've been eating around the Convention Center for about a week now and I'd say this is one of the better spots for lunch around the Center. Great location too - it's the first restaurant you'd see coming out of the Convention Center on the right side of the street. Reasonable prices too for this area. Both of our orders were under $20. No complaints here and would highly recommend it to conference goers! I'd say this is"
"American Express sent me an invite to try this location about two months ago. When I arrived, I read signs on the door that said they were closed due to covid restrictions. I was disappointed but filed this location away in my mind to return another time. Today, I had reason to be on that side of town so I stopped in for lunch with several others. The place is very clean with a clear signage about wearing masks and the interior was spaced well to keep strangers six feet apart. Brooklyn was our waitress and she greeted us quickly. She was pleasant and to the point. We ordered our food to go as I still don't feel especially comfortable indoors with several dozen people I don't know. The food came out quickly, was well packaged and warm. The cheeseburger was wonderful and the Reuben was top shelf. The Philly wasn't especially good but the fries were top notch. The price was very reasonable.I did get a slight feeling that I was not a regular and was treated accordingly. I was treated professionally but not especially personally."
"The bartender was attentive and took orders quickly. I tried their Tommyknocker IPA (was a bit too hoppy for me) and the Avalanche Ale (wasn't as good as I've had in the past, but not bad and surprised they had beer from Breckenridge and Idaho Springs available). The jalapeno bacon cheeseburger wasn't bad. I really liked the jam on it and the jalapenos actually had some heat to them. The cream cheese was pretty basic and so was the bacon. It came out reasonably quick and the fries were decent also. We sat out back and the rest of the group watched a game, played volleyball, and played baggo. Prices were good and they have weekend happy hour also.I parked in the back because it was a bit of an awkward layout of you don't approach from the front. Try to park up front if you can."

Out on the west side today on a field trip. Fun little find. This bar has history and has been through many owners but still remains a friendly neighborhood bar. Stopped in for a drink and a bite. Fried dills have a light batter like tempura that are served with plenty of veggies and ranch. Pours are heavy and service is friendly.

I practically lived in this restaurant during my brief stay in Golden. They had a uniquely intriguing special each day that kept drawing me in. Food highlights were the Bacon-Wrapped Bison Meatloaf and the Salmon BLT. Both were equally delicious. Also, if you've never tried the Herman Joseph's Private Reserve, do it now! The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant (and the hotel) both have an old-west vibe, which I dig. I don't understand why this place currently only has a 3.5 star rating. Sure it's inside a hotel, but the restaurant could easily stand up on its own.

Staff were super friendly. I was looking for a local eatery and did not know this was a chain restaurant. I ordered the choose your own items. I had chicken fried steak, roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, green beans, with gravy on the side and it came with stuffing and cranberry sauce. WOW!! and it was very affordable. The chicken fried steak was so good. Everything had good flavor and I didn't have to add salt or Tabasco. . . lol. . . I had cherry cobbler. . . always have dessert first. . . my cobbler was missing the yummy breading. It was cherry and very tart. Wanted it a little warmer but it was ok. We received rolls with our meal and they looked like rolls from Texas Roadhouse and I was expecting 'that' flavor. They were not sweet, not salty. They were slightly buttered, soft and warm. I would visit again to try something else.

Total dive bar, in all of the best ways possible! Best wings in Denver, with AMAZING Chinese food to top it off! The fried rice is to die for and my favorite wings are their Asian medium. Fun place with great food!

These burgers are slammin! The guac bacon burger with double patty is a must. The hot island burger and hot dog sandwiches are also really really good! This place is wayyyyyy better than Smashburger.

I love basically everything about Mikes Cafe! It's pretty much got the best green chile in town. While sometimes they get super crazy busy, everybody's so nice there! We just really like being there. Can't wait to get back.

YUM!The power was out and we had no way to make coffee, so decided to order in coffee...and of course brunch :) we decided to order from Ranch House for the first time via Postmates. So glad we did - breakfast was delicious! We ordered a rocky skillet and a rocky breakfast burrito, with a side of biscuits & gravy. And of course the 2 coffees. Food arrived quickly and was still piping hot. It was delicious - I especially loved the sauce the burrito was covered in. Portions were super generous as you can see and enough for brunch the next day as well. Total was $28 before tax & tip. We can't wait to try them in house someday!

This is a great little gem hidden inside/next to a former socialite's mansion in Cheeseman Park. Well decorated, well stocked, and definitely a happening place. Outside and inside seating is available. The wide array of food and drinks makes for a great stop in place for a drink, snack, or even some heavy apps. Definitely recommend. You will be well taken care of here!

"When something has been around for multiple lifetimes, they must be doing something right. That's also a piece of history I want to be a part of. Arriving on a hot summer day this was the perfect place to stop for cold refreshing inexpensive draft beer. Food prices were reasonable especially the classic burger which they are known for. The food was prepared quickly and was delivered with a giant condiment caddy with all the burger fixings that included onions, pickles, peppers, relish and more. Such a clever idea so you can prepare your burger to your liking. I'm glad I stopped in to this 150 years old institution. Wish I would have inquired more about its history. Next time!Enjoy!!"
"A local favorite and a historical location, this spot seems like it has maintained its hole-in-a-wall stature, interior is old and worn off. Despite that the place has lots of recognition and accolades displayed on their wall. But the outdoor seating they have, looked so new and modern, best part of the restaurant. The breakfast items we tried were okay. Lemonade was decent. Pancakes were not so good. Service is okay. Dishes came out within a short time. We were happy to have checked mark this iconic spot but probably not the best experience we imagined."
"As a Packer fan in Denver, Swanky's is one of those bars on rotation to watch games. It's hard to even say how I rate Swanky's because of so many pros/cons back-and-forth. It's a smaller bar so it fills up fast for many Packer games. Sometimes, though, this 2021 season where they had the best record in the NFL, it actually wasn't fully packed for each of the times I went. I wonder why?Well, as for me, I don't love the food options they have. It's very basic, boring bar food, which I just think they could do a little better on it. I realized they may not have a big kitchen but still, there are always ways to update the menu and make improvements. The DJ sometimes gets too DJ-happy and is playing, well blasting, the music when I want to hear what they are saying on TV with the football game. Like chill dude, we are here for the game not for the DJ. I really haven't touched all those slushies, because I just think they're probably going to be ridiculously loaded with gobs of sugar and I don't need that in my life or in my head the next day. I'll admit at least that I haven't tried to really say how they taste. Maybe one day I'll ask if I can sample one that doesn't seem too gross (to me personally). But, for those that like these types of drinks, this is the perfect bar for you as they have so, so many slushie options! The staff is usually pretty cool, at least the times I've gone they've been hardworking and attentive. With that said, a pet peeve and something I see in Denver A LOT is a wrong bill. I don't know what it is about this city, but you all need to check and keep and check your bills again, don't leave the receipt on the tables! I've caught so much. And let's get this straight, it should not be wrong in the first place by the establishment or staff - they are responsible for providing correct bills. The customer is not responsible. The last time I went the game-day specials were charged incorrectly and I paid an extra 10 dollars. I only counted the number of drinks and didn't realize until the next day looking at the receipt, the # of drinks was correct but price per drink wasn't. I had to go back to that area so brought it with me to stop back in and ask about it and hope to get it fixed. My same server was there but she wasn't sure what to do, another server chimed in and told me to talk to someone behind the bar. The first thing this guy had the nerve to tell me was to blame ME and say why didn't I see this the day of (mind you this was only a couple of days after). I barely got to start answering him and another guy came over to help, he turned around and was doing something and turned back around to hand me the $10 cash, which is a MUCH better way of handling the situation than foolish guy #1. I don't know Swanky's is just ok."
"My friends and I came here to watch the Dallas Cowboys vs. New Orleans Saints game. The TV setup was perfect for sports fans, with multiple screens showing a variety of games, which really elevated the experience. The food was average--not bad, but nothing special. Given how busy the place was, the service was decent, though understandably a bit slow.We ordered micheladas, but they didn't quite hit the mark. After talking to our waitress, she had the bartender make us another round, but they still weren't great. They definitely needed more Michelada mix to balance the flavor."
"We found this restaurant on our way to Evergreen lake. The high rating of the restaurant caught our attention. Upon arrival, it was pretty empty, we got a table right away. It's a nice wooden shack style restaurant, right by a small creek. Such amazing spot to enjoy breakfast/brunch close to nature. They have a bar as well. All staff are very friendly and helpful. We all ordered different items from the breakfast. Everyone loved their dishes. I was impressed with my corned beef egg Benedict. It was a unique dish, as they serve it with piece of hashbrowns underneath. Eggs were cooked so nicely, yolks drip over once you poke them. I got a non-alcoholic drink as well, that was very well made. Overall we had a wonderful dining experience before heading up to the mountains.Special mention of the pancakes they make. They are so fluffy and soft, one of the best ones I have ever had. Must try."
"10s across the board! I was here for a bachelorette brunch and the queens delivered! The theatrics, flexibility, energy, sanging, stage presence, and ability to keep the crowd hyped for the entire show was unmatched! We need them in New York City STAT! Oh and I ate food. I ordered the Proud Mary burger (bland) and my friend got the Buffy The Burger Slayer (okay). I will never find it not comical that she had an entire head of garlic in her burger (like more than 9 whole cloves)! I've never seen that before and we were appalled lol. I don't really care about the food though because I was here for the show and the show gave me life. That is all."
"It's a pretty cool food hall especially how many games there are to play. My buds and I played some Golden Tee while we had a couple drinks and food. The food options are fun and decent variety. I had to go with the lobster roll since that's not something I get often! Those are already pricey in general, even in Boston when I was there. But overall I feel that food halls are always extra expensive for the most part. The concept of sharing space so you don't need individual spaces says to me cost savings, but you don't see it in the final bill anytime I eat at a food hall. They seem to often tack on fees, too, but I'm seeing that happen more in Denver in general. I worry who's actual pockets they go into. Anyways, it's a cool spot and huge space if you're in that area."
"Holy crap. These are probably the best sliders I've ever had.Like, standing outside the truck is legit difficult because of how good it smells. Believe you me I did quick mental math on if I could hoist myself up through the order window and steal literally all of the burgers before they noticed. I opted instead on paying and waiting like a normal human being. I ordered two doubles, and they were both amazing. Though honestly I couldn't quite tell them apart. Would've loved a little more aggressive flavor -- but I also don't really care too much.Guys, they're awesome. They're SO good. Two doubles is perfect if you want to pretend you're fat but still be like hey it's not THAT much food! They're just so good. I was angry I wasn't starving to death because I wanted to eat like 400 sliders. Look I know this is hyperbolic and all, but I'm immediately a massive fan of this food truck and cannot wait to follow them around town to breweries."
"This was a fun little speakeasy to take out of town friends to. We didn't live far from it, so we Uber scootered there. It was a happening night and there was a little line out the door. I wasn't sure if we had to stand in line, since I have reservations. It seemed like everyone else didn't RSVP, so I went inside to let them know I was here. The lady at the counter just told me to wait and I wasn't sure inside or outside, because inside was very tiny. I eventually went outside and luckily the line didn't take long because left without knowing to RSVP. Owells. It was cool once we checked in because we're just facing a "book shelf". There's a small light in there letting the lady know when they're ready for the next group. It was pretty cool going thru the bookshelf, like I'm walking into a Harry Potter theme restaurant but more upscale of course. Definitely a lot louder inside, filled with people chatting the night away. Oh I chose the booth option when RSVPing and no random, which was great for the 4 of us. We had a bit more privacy and was able to hear each other. Our server was phenomenal of taking care of us that night. We all, but one, had the classic burger and the other had mac'n cheese with hatch chili. One of the tastiest burgers and very yummy and interesting basalmic fries - which was delish! The drinks were outstanding for everyone and for one that doesn't drink, I have no idea what they were. They just ordered the specials or customized their drink. Would love to come back and show other friends."
""TOUCHDOWN STONEY'S"If you want to watch a sporting game out, go to Stoney's Uptown. It's like walking into a fishbowl of litty big-screen TVs, rowdy cheering fans, hustling servers, clinking draft beers and slinging bar food. You'll run into fans of your team and the other teams, but that is what makes the atmosphere fun! You'll get the thrill of looking at someone and with your eyes saying, "We are coming for you... on the _________!" (insert field, court, ring, horse, whatever event is on)Thanks to the Colts vs. Texans game, we discovered this. With a decent size party, I was curious how seating would work. Quickly, I learned there was no need to worry. It's open seating and there's lots of it, even a pretty big patio for a nice day. Our party easily found a spot in the fairly busy Stoney's. Our waitress may of been the MVP of the experience. She had a great sense of humor and handled our party of 12 with ease. She never missed a drink or food order, which always impresses me when you have a big party. There was a SHIP load of items ordered by our table. Maybe all the appetizers? Haha. I did not try them all, however, what caught my tastebuds the most was the Sweet Potato Fries. They had a sneaky blend of sugar, spice n' everything nice on them, and were the LEAD BACK who could have kept breaking my self-control. We'd definitely go back to Stoney's Uptown for a game!"
"Crazy and surprisingly awesome! My folks moved to the area and kept talking I a burger spot they found nearby. When I visited, they wanted to take me to it. Cool.Walking through Old Town Littleton and they pull me inside was I thought was just a random bar. Which I guess it kinda is. But holy cow.The burgers are awesome: nice sear with a juicy interior, fresh cut onions, crunchy pickles, crisp lettuce, and perfectly melted gooey cheese.Liked it so much we came back a couple days later and got their breakfast burger, which was just as good and had two perfectly runny eggs on it.Staff is quick and smiling throughout. Place is pretty clean and there's a ton of spots to sit at. Beer selection is solid. It's obvious there are numerous regulars, and I can definitely see why. I look forward to another delicious burger next time I'm in town."
"Despite this being chain in several states, it does not disappoint! The menu made it nearly impossible to choose what to order because everything looked SO GOOD. I settled on the pork belly jasmine fried rice and shared the pancake sampler with my friend. I also had the greens juice (could have done without any ice, usually pressed juices aren't served with ice.) The food was delicious and the server was super friendly as well! I was able to get free parking two minutes down the road which was ideal as well."
"Great divvy place in the middle of cherry creek. Good bar food and always a great place to catch the games. Food is good. Service is great recommend coming to the bar. This place does get packed with people. Ambiance is great and homie. Always have specials for week days on beer or food and on the weekend have great discounts."
"Hits The Spot can do what their name says. Hit that hungry spot!!A no fuss spot for breakfast and so affordable! Everything that you see on this review was $20 minus the tip! The food is straight up basic breakfast and tasty! No complain here! The staff are seasoned and attentive! I like looked around and noticed photos of old Hollywood stars from lone ago. Also, this diner is frequented by regulars. Love it!My special pancake was fluffy. My eggs came as requested ; over medium. My sausage although nothing to boast about in size was what sausage should be! seasoned well!So if you're looking for a bfast spot while you're in the west side do not hesitate to stop by and try this folks!"
"Love this sports bar! Super friendly staff. Huge menu with a ton of great options. Perfect place to watch any game. They always have everything on. They have a ton of beers on tap and always have rotating beers. They have their regulars so that says a lot! Will definitely recommend and be back!"
"Vietnamese lettuce wrap is super delicious! For me, it is like Vietnamese bun because there are rice vermicelli noodle and tasty sour/salty sauce. I love that they are not worried about giving me lots of sliced green and red chili and crunchy peanut. The rotisserie chicken is juicy delicious. I feel like I can enjoy lettuce wrap by itself without meat, and add steamed rice to enjoy with chicken and delicious sauce."
"Been searching for a decent no frills breakfast spot since breakfast king closed and I finally found my happy place! Great service, great food and welcoming clean diner/greek influence restaurant! So yummy!"
"Wishbone is my go to whenever I am craving Fried Chicken. They fried chicken is so crispy and the meat inside is yet so juicy. They won't tell me their secret, but whatever it is...it's working! This is a popular spot for the locals...young and old. Great pricing, prompt service, and delicious consistent food! Everyone is so friendly and helpful and just has a great ambiance overall."
"I was here for a business trip and this place looked like a good spot to watch Thursday night football that was close to my airport hotel. This place caught my eye, there were TVs playing football and basketball surrounding the bar so I grabbed a seat. The place was busy, both at the bar and tables. One of the bartenders came over and asked for my drink order and brought me a menu after I asked for one. I ordered the enchiladas plate and a glass of red wine. I wasn't expecting much from the wine at a sports bar (just wasn't in the mood for beer). I was expecting a great enchilada based on the name, it was good but just ok nothing special. The enchiladas themselves were good, but all the sides were really just filler. The rice had no flavor, lettuce was just generic shredded iceberg, and the pico was definitely mass produced elsewhere and shipped in.Right after I ordered a group of guys that seemed a little buzzed posted up at the bar next to me. Before that I had a good amount of space, but when my food came one of them kept bumping into me. I can't really blame the restaurant for the clientele that come in to watch games but I didn't stay to watch the end of the game cause I was uncomfortable, they weren't taking my polite hints that I didn't want to talk to them and they smelled. I could've moved, but after sitting at the bar watching the bartenders make drinks I wasn't inclined to order anything else. Any mixed drink had some artificial color or sugary looking ingredients. Mostly I saw them pouring beer and shots, so that meant more people getting buzzed which was not what I was in the mood to be around. If you decide to come to this restaurant, I would stick to beer for drinks. They do have a decent selection on tap. The food was fine but nothing to write home about. Drink prices were pretty cheap, so if you're looking for a good place to watch the game and not spend a lot of money on beer, this would be the spot. If you're looking for good Mexican food and cocktails there are probably better options in the area."
