This place is a core childhood memory of mine and my parents use to take me there when we first moved here from Japan. I always would get the same thing, Oreos and cream. Every time I walked by this place it always has that pleasant vanilla, caramel like scent and I think they also make their waffle cones fresh. I haven't been here in a long time, probably haven't been in like 10 years and decided to stop by, I really enjoyed it and it was super good and service was great. Place is clean and old school cool. The ice cream was creamy and every bite was dreamy!

I find a way back here over and over again! This is my favorite ice cream spot in Denver! The flavors are always changing and I always forget about some until they make a reappearance on the menu. But it's nice to always have a wide selection. Butter brickle is my favorite flavor! They have puppy ice cream sandwiches too (which my dog loves). It tastes like homemade ice creamery ice cream which is what you want. It's a chill old school vibe and aesthetic to the shop. A lot of people take their ice cream and sit outside on the benches or tables when the weather is nice. Mentally prepare for a long line in the summer months. It goes pretty quick for the length of line. Major key, get a quart or pint to go once you have your favorite flavor. It's more cost effective than multiple trips.

If you're looking for a classic ice cream parlor experience, Bonnie Brae is the place! This iconic Denver spot not only has great homemade ice cream, but will give you a nostalgic feeling. Two of us split a double sundae which was plenty to share. We opted for classic vanilla scoops, but there were a variety of flavors I will be back to try! This is an order at the counter type of place, and the sundaes are not served in glass bowls. Nonetheless, you'll have a fun experience.

I got the salted Oreo which was delicious! Some might think it's too salty but I thought it was the right amount. Service was quick despite the line out the door. It gets pretty busy on a warm night so we didn't hang around.

My first time trying ice cream from here and I loved it! They had a long lineup out the door and down the street yet the staff were so friendly and helpful and still allowed for samples. There were ample flavors to choose from and I appreciated that waffle cones were included in prices. I went with lemon blueberry which was refreshing and butter brickle which had toffee like pieces and was super sweet. I would recommend either. I sampled the lemon custard as well which I found wasn't as flavorful and the blueberry cheesecake which had nice cheesecake pieces. Scoops were a fair sized and there was a good amount of seating outside. Parking lot next door is for liquor store only so street parking in the neighborhood is the way to go but there seemed to be enough spots within less than a 5 min walk.

Definitely on my top 10 list of best ice cream places I've been to!I love Bonnie Brae: it has that old school ice cream parlor feel but updated and fun flavors. I couldn't resist a brownie sundae, and they do a good one here. The brownie itself is solid, and they have a good fudge. For flavors, the cookie dough and funfetti cookie dough are winners in my book: the key is that they make their own cookie dough, which makes a huge difference. I also loved their Oreos & Cream: probably some of the best C&C ice cream I've had because they use HUGE chunks of Oreos. The only flavor that was not good at all was the Triple Chocolate Death (shocking! It just had a weird aftertaste).Service was friendly and fast, and be aware that they do have a long line-even on a Thursday night! But it moved quickly and is so worth it.

Even though I LOVE ice cream, I've never lived close to the legendary Bonnie Brae Ice Cream shop and therefore had never enjoyed their work previously.A hot weekday night prompted some adventure, and it checked every box, a great experience!Luckily, it was early evening, so the usual line had yet to form, and the service staff was full of warmth and assistance. They also had a good sense of humor, which led to an even more positive experience. They make their ice cream on-site, I selected a luscious cookies and cream option that was incredible. I Sat outside the store and had the whole experience, watching people continually go into the shop and come out smiling.Regrets for not visiting earlier, but this won't be the last time because driving 20 minutes takes calories, right?

We needed an ice cream stop before our next family adventure. It's been a long time since I've been here. The service was great. This is a very cute ice cream shop. All the ice creams varies every time in addition to the common ones they typically have. The ice cream here is absolutely delicious. Looking for delicious ice cream? This is the place. Great for a hot day, dates, family treats, and just looking for something sweet. Love this place and will be coming back again.
