Awesome place for a quick lunch, amazing mountain views on the patio, and fun to watch all the planes. Italian sandwich and burnt ends were both delicious & love their chips.

Buy lunch at Grocery Store and bring it here to picnic while watching planes land and take off Look, this is an office building sandwich stand. I had a horrible "Special of day" (drink was free) "Cajun Pork Poboy." Dried up deli slices of.....loin? inexpertly piled on a bun with enough flavorless mass of vegetables to keep the pork dried but make the bun soggy. Greasy French onion soup was a welcome accompaniment. It allowed me to be able to swallow the sandwich without choking. Extra star for location and friendly service.

During a long day of flying, this was a great spot for us to take a break and grab a bite to eat on their outdoor patio. The staff was very friendly, especially considering it's a counter you order from. They brought us our food, repeatedly checked on us, and took our trash when we finished. This was a surprise since we thought it was just a quick counter order/pickup type place.I ordered the Taxi Wade Turkey (hot) with coleslaw and I enjoyed it. The coleslaw was just average compared to others but it seemed homemade. My copilot ordered the Reuben with potato salad and coleslaw. He really enjoyed his sandwich as well. The portions were a great size for lunch and we left satisfied. They were very busy so it wasn't crazy fast but definitely wouldn't call it slow.Overall, great option for a bite when flying into BJC!

Great breakfast and lunch options.I really like the toasted breakfast sandwich. The bread tastes like French toast but is not. Inside is scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese and choice of sausage, bacon, pulled pork. So good.Typically at Bkue Sky Tuesday mornings.Their BBQ that is served later in the week is killer and a find.Friendly fairly priced and amazing views of planes a the Flatirons.

Great lunch spot at the Rocky Mountain Airport. Let's all adjust our expectations accordingly -- this is a counter within the airport terminal with seating inside and outside on a patio. You'll order at a walk up counter where chances are a very friendly woman will take your special and make you smile - find seating wherever you want (gotta pick a patio table on a nice day) and they'll bring you your food. When we first walked in my dad laughed, saying I brought him to a cafeteria.... Basically that's what it is. Not a "bistro" per se. Now that we're all on the same page about what kind of location it is, I'll tell you the food is actually good! I was so skeptical when I walked in, but it was good, priced accordingly and you really can't beat the views. Great spot if you're in the area but don't go out of your way to eat here, it is a cafeteria after all!

At big airports, you never know what you might get when it comes to food. Will you be confined to overpriced Chili's? Or come across a great local spot that just happens to have an airport location? (I'm lookin' at you Root Down!) However, when it comes to small airports, you can almost always count on there being a cute little cafe with quality eats. Such is the case of Blue Sky Bistro at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport. And no, you don't need a plane ticket to eat here!We walked up to the counter and I spotted a BBQ brisket sandwich as a special. SOLD. From there, we found a seat at one of the tables outside that offered a beautiful view of the front range and airplane runway. There weren't any planes taking off so it was rather quiet and one of those settings that reminds you why Colorado is simply the best. Our food came pretty quickly and I devoured by brisket sandwich! The meat was sandwiched between a soft hoagie roll that my fiancee couldn't stop talking about. On the side I got coleslaw which was pretty standard, and it also came with a refreshing slice of watermelon. All in all, an unexpected solid find in Broomfield. If you're looking for lunch in the area, definitely check this spot out!

Excellent option of you're waiting for passengers and don't have a lot of time. The breakfast burrito with green chili is the best. Loaded with egg, bacon, sausage AND ham. Super fast service with friendly, helpful people. Also a nice place to go plane spotting. Grab some food and sit outside.
