I regularly visit this place and really like it. The food here is the closest to actual Indian food in Fort Collins. The service might not be the best according to American standards but it's good and the ambience is fine as well. Overall, this is a good place to find Indian food in Fort Collins. Recommendations- Vijayawada Chicken Biryani, Paneer Tikka Biryani, Mysore Masala Dosa

Last night we were hungry but not feeling like going out...we hit on Bawarchi and ordered for pick up. We ordered butter chicken, garlic and butter naan, Marsala chicken lollipops, vegetable samosas, and goat korma...it was all ready, hot and delicious!! When we got home there was such a feeding frenzy that I didn't even get any pics, I will definitely take some next time!!!

We love eating here! The lamb sock is fabulous along with the goat dish. I had that was extremely flavorful. I asked for a side of grilled vegetables and that really made the meal complete.

By far the best Indian food in Fort Collins. The korma is my favorite food in Colorado so far. Priced well. Nice staff. Beautiful restaurant.

3.5 StarsDesperately trying to get my sister into Indian cuisine, we stopped by Bawarchi to get a dose of some of the goods. The service was great. Everyone was so nice and our waitress made sure that everything was good throughout our meal. Vegetable Samosa. It came out lukewarm and not hot making me think it wasn't made fresh. That also lended to them tasting more flat and meh. Flavors were lacking on the chicken tikka saag and the garlic naan, but the portions were nice and big. Plenty of saag for at least two meals. Murg Malai Kebab. A yummy tandoori chicken that was tender and cooked to perfection. It had a subtle flavor good enough for my picky sister and paired well with the ample amount of basmati rice. Overall, not the best Indian food I've had, but it does the trick. And check out their Indian grocery next door if you have time!

One of the earliest Indian restaurants I have tried and I like their Guntur chicken that is spicy and tasty goes well with naan and rice. More than Biriyani I think Schezwan noodles is one of the tastiest dish with good amount of veggie and protein as requested. They got 3 levels of spice and can be adjusted accordingly. I recommend their uttappam and for spiciness they add chiles which is to be remembered before ordering. And it was bit disappointing chutney was not available and limited to sambar. Overall the service is bit slow depending on the crowd but the ambience is great.

Speaking as someone who grew up in India and in southeast Michigan (with lots of Indian food), I definitely know my Indian food. I have to say, hands down, this is the BEST Indian restaurant in the US that I've been to! Even my mom and sister who have even more experience with Indian food absolutely loved this place; we all agree it tastes like food made in India. Some of the menu items on here I've never seen at most other Indian places either - some of the items are things my mom made at home or are from my hometown in India. The ambiance is so comfortable, they play some traditional Indian music (some Telugu music, if you're familiar). Everyone here is so friendly as well - the food comes out so quickly! At first glance, the prices look a little high, but given the big portion sizes and the amazing quality, it is absolutely worth it.Please try this place if you get the chance, you will be so happy you did!

I went for lunch and found the lunch special quite excellent. But one thing that disappointed me was that I like Spiced Tea with no milk and they were unable (or perhaps unwilling) to accommodate my request. If you are flexible as to what you drink with your meal I highly recommend this restaurant.
