Denver Pizza Company

The pizza was very good tasting the service was okay. I was not pleased with the way the beer is served but the group I was with including two 6-year-olds were happy. I am also not used to going into a place where you have to get a code to use the restroom.I will try them again but closer to home.

Even though the order we received was incorrect, the pizza WAS good. Not too greasy, fresh-tasting ingredients. I also liked that they had beer taps on the side. Here's why I won't be back:I was visiting Denver to DJ at a venue a block away from Denver Pizza Co, and I was with a few friends - one of which was visiting from Turkey and had never had pineapple pizza, so we took him to try. 1. The man who took our order was very rude, and acted like he couldn't be bothered with taking our order. Because of this probably, our order was incorrect. We ordered 1 slice of pepperoni and sausage and 2 slices of Hawaiian, and we received an entire pizza: half sausage, pepperoni, ham, and Hawaiian, half cheese. We didn't say anything because I had to play 20 minutes after we got the pizza. We went to line up to use the bathroom, and noticed the men's bathroom had an out of order sign in it, but the women's bathroom was still being used. When it was our turn, I went in to do my makeup for maybe 5 minutes while my Turkish friend waited outside so he could change his t-shirt in the bathroom after I was done (we had just come from the airport) and an Asian man with glasses opened the door while I was in the bathroom. I came out thinking how bizarre for my friend to open the bathroom door while I was in it, to find out it was this manager. Absolutely out of line imo to open the door to the women's bathroom when there's someone in it, but then started yelling at me saying I'm going to flood their restaurant and accused me of taking their out of order sign down? So weird! I explained I'm literally just fixing my makeup - not using the water or toilet in any way - and he starts yelling at my friend to leave after he asked if he could just change his t-shirt real quick because he "doesn't want to be here until 1:45 am"? (It was 10:10pm). My friend had never been in the US before and his face turned red and he grabbed his things and walked out, mentioning he didn't realize people in the US were like that and asked if it's because of he's foreign. Made me feel bad and actually is what motivated me to write a review. Idk if the two employees had an issue with each other or something and that's what caused them both to behave this way (wasn't just with us, I saw), but it's pizza. It's not that serious, and never is a reason to treat people like that.

The best pizza in Denver, in my humble opinion. Within walking distance from our apartment, this downtown location is carry out only. it's definitely our go to spot when craving pizza, offering several yummy specialty pizza's or create your own. Offering Daiya (Vegan) cheese which can be substituted on any pizza.Denver Pizza Company- always perfectly hot & tasty!

The food was fresh and had lost if flavor. The slices of the pizza were huge in the xl size. We also got two medium cheese pizzas because it was buy one get one! The chicken wings were so saucy and delicious. Can't wait to try their specialty pizzas

This pizza here was AMAZING! The gentleman who helped us was very nice, seemed a little shy but helped us pick the best pizza topping combinations for our pizza. It's a very casual, laid back place to have lunch or dinner.

Fun atmosphere great staff and wonderful pizzas! Will definitely be coming back if I'm in Denver!

This place should be 3.75 stars, so I'm rounding up. You can get pizza by the slice. There are TONS of options, so if you have picky eaters you can all just get slices. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. There's not much space to sit down, but the option is there. The pizza was pretty good, but nothing to write home about.

I'm a New Yorker and have many opinions on pizza. When I came in the Denver Pizza Co's new Broadway location, I was skeptical. The space to was great. It's wide open and has great looking white subway tiles. Oh and there's beer taps coming!!!! I ordered a large pepperoni & ricotta pizza well done. The crust was crunchy. The sever was pleasant. What's not to love about this place!??

I can't say enough about how delicious this pizza was. I'd never had it before, and so when it was provided during our work lunch a couple of weeks ago, I was in for a treat. Great ingredients, fabulous topping combinations, and the all-important excellent crust achievement. Plus, Denver Pizza Company is active in their community, supporting local non-profits like Curious Theatre Company. This is definitely a good place to use your dining dollars, not least of which because your tummy will be happy.

I cannot share enough about what a wonderful company Denver Pizza Company is. Not only the best pizza in Denver, but the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. This is a wonderful local business who believes in community. The East Colfax is my favorite!
