My friend brought me here to try Venezuelan food for the first time. I had a shredded beef empanada ($2 something), and she had a queso enchilada. We both ordered the shredded chicken and avocado arepa ($4 something). The empanadas were hot and crispy with good amount of filling. The arepa was really packed and dense. The chicken was like chicken salad (mayo base?) and there was a decent amount of avocado. The arepa wasn't too oily. However I try to eat healthy, so I didn't eat all the breading on the empanada and arepa. Good, but I wouldn't crave it.

This is the most underrated spot in Katy. Best, most authentic arepa and empanada you'll find. Order cazon empanada. Reina pepiada arepa is good if you like mayo.

I'm no Venezuelan and not an expert in the cuisine, but there food is delicious. From the Arepas to the Empanadas the flavors were harmonious. The garlic and green sauces complimented the food really well. We ordered the chicken&avocado arepa, the homemade cheese arepa, shredded beef black beans cheese plantains arepa and empanada. We ended our meal with cheese&guava sweet empanada, fresh guava and guanabana juices. Keep up the great work.

Located inside a convenience store at a gas station off of Mason road in Katy Texas, this was a surprise to say the least. Raced there on a Sunday afternoon deciding to satisfy my empanadas craving. First had these because my boss brought them to work so many times and they've always been so good. The est add was friendly, the place is kept clean. The food itself...I was SOOOO disappointed when I got my order. They were not "typical" empanadas they were flavored meats stuffed in a corndog like thick bland dough. They cost a pretty penny so you can imagine how sour I was. Guess I had to ask for the empanada shape? Idk but I won't go back, out of my way and was too disappointed.

Amazing, I rarely give out 5 stars but know this is the very best Venezuela place in Katy Texas hands down. In a gas station but don't let that deceive you. The very best in flavors and the employees are so very courteous and wonderful. Tried it years ago and again today. Still the same love in their food, generosity to customers and great prices. Excellent and would give ten stars if I could.

Best empanadas in town, and service with a smile. Casual and very tasty with Venezuelan specialties.

I love coming here for the tequeños and the mandocas! I don't know of any other Venezuelan places that sell mandocas. Their food is delicious!!

Food is always fresh. They get busy so call ahead to place your order. Mrs Estela is awesome, I always get great service.

La mejor sopa de res y la mejor ensalada de gallina!! Uusss 100% recomendados! Best beef soup and potato salad w chicken ever! I highly recommend, as well its tequeños and arepas.
