Crispy Chicken Sandwich - 8" Liscio's roll, Buffalo sauce added. Better than Wawas. Not hand breaded though.

Delco DeliHoney Hot Chicken SandwichHot Honey chicken, Pepper Jack Cheese, pickles and side of coleslaw. Price: $8.99Rating: 5/5When I first opened the box I was disappointed by the look of this sandwich however it was sneaky good. So many bursts of flavor and a nice punch.Ordered Cheesesteak HoagiePremium Ribeye steak with American and provolone cheese, fried onions, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Price: $11.99Rating: 3/5They didn't put provolone and the tomatoes were not ripe at all still green. Ordered Italian Sandwich - Salami, ham, honey maple turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles, sweet peppers. olive oil, oregano, salt & pepper. Price: $13.97Rating: 2/5The salami was missing on the hoagie and was replaced with something that tasted like bologna. The roll was good and large portions. The one meat on the hoagie ruined it. Cheese friesPrice: $5.30Rating: 3/5Very fresh however I don't care for crinkle cut fries.Overall rating 2.5 stars out of 5. Location use to be a Wawa and now a deli on steroids with ample parking. Service was excellent. The food was all freshly made, Delco Deli uses Liscio's roll and lunch meat is dietz and watson. Pricing I thought was high but possibly because I ordered on the slice app. I would try Delco Deli again as I believe I tried on a bad day compared to other reviews.#delcoeats #delco #delcofoodie #delcopa #visitdelco #visitdelcopa #pennsylvaniafoodie #pennsylvania #impossibletraveler #50before50 #50statesbyage50 #50countriesbyage50 #visitpennsylvania #pennsylvaniabeautiful #pennsylvania

I know it's weird to start a review like this, but I can't get over Delco Deli's bagged ice. I don't make my own ice, I think it tastes "like freezer." So, I buy a lot of bagged ice. I know what type of ice Wawa, CVS, Sunoco, and the grocery store have. Each retailer has a specific ice (shape, size, price, etc.).While grabbing food here, I figured I'd stock up on ice. Little did I know that I stumbled upon the most perfect bag of ice that exists. The cubes are all perfectly square, and there is not one melted chunk of ice in the bag. The entire bag of ice is beautiful little cubes, all detatched from each other. It's spectacular. There is zero "ice waste" in this bag. It's all going straight into a beverage cup! I will only be getting my ice from here from now on.Moving on from the ice: their food ain't bad! Their cheesesteak was VERY good, their Italian hoagie was decent but there could have been more onion on it, their wings are just OK, their broccoli soup was good and not as thick as you get at Wawa (made me feel a little less guilty about eating it). Plus, who doesn't love a non-chain place. The employees that work there are great, too. Very nice.

Delco Deli occupies a space in a small strip mall abandoned by Wawa several years ago.I stopped in here for a few lunches to see what the new place was all about and was pleasantly surprised. The new operators put some money into the inside brightening it up and tiling the entire deli area. The shelves are stocked with your typical C-store items, same with the cooler. Their food service ordering system is by Toast, although they will take an order themselves if you want. The staff was very friendly and helpful on all of my visits. They use Dietz & Watson deli meats and Liscio's rolls. Their menu is pretty simple and has the usual suspects - Cheesesteaks, hoagies, chicken sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, etc. One menu surprise was Chicken Shawarma. I haven't had it in years so that was my first try. They don't have a vertical "spit" yet, (think Rotisserie, but vertical) but they do season and cook the Chicken in house sans the skin. It comes in a wrap with a garlic sauce and you can add/subtract toppings. I enjoyed mine, it was similar to a gyro, but wrapped like a burrito. Their cheesesteak was above average. Ribeye cut up with American cheese on a Liscio's roll. I liked that they had different pepper options (Jalapeno, Hot Cherry or banana). Cheese to steak ratio was almost right, the amount of meat was just right and it wasn't a sloppy greasy mess. Their online price says $15.90 which is steep, but I don't remember paying that. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was about what you would get at a Wawa, but better. Not hand breaded, but simple. It comes on a 8" roll. Prices are a little high here, but I think the quality is much better than the former tenant. Everything is made to order and you don't have to wait with 15 other people for them to call out your number! Give these guys a chance for some better quality choices than the bigger chains.

This place is a local convenience store, surprisingly they sell hot food. I ordered a cheesesteak and fries. It was ok nothing to rave about but I will say the prices are comparable to the local pizza store rates. They are very friendly, very clean and professional. I would not go out of my way to visit however I did take notice that the neighborhood residents find it convenient and it appears they do get steady business

Different cheesesteak #1090 in the last five years. I've been thinking a lot about this cheesesteak. Nice new clean place. I almost bought a black and white cookie for $2.99. I am a narrow minded old white man but I am getting used to kiosk ordering. Apparently a new grill person. He was being coached by a co-worker and had me watching over the counter. Everything was good. But I think everything needed to work together better. The meat was a touch dry. They grilled the fried onions & mushrooms in one pile and the meat in its own pile. Why not together? $11.99 for the cheesesteak. I think they will get it together.

Delco Deli beats Wawa any day. Hand-cut meats and cheeses every time, a clean functional setup, and the customer service is excellent. Has quickly become my go-to lunch spot, or emergency ice cream stops. Smiled today seeing they included Delco Deli branded candies to my hoagie as a nice post meal treat. Just another example of going above and beyond for customers.

Delco Deli in Prospect Park is now open. Great sandwiches. We ordered a chicken parm and hot pastrami. Everything was sliced and made fresh to order. No cheap Wawa crapola. The young guys who now own it are great and you can tell by their service, are very proud of their new business. The place looks great too after the renovation. They serve Dietz and Watson meats which I prefer as well. Give them a try and support a local business, and not some goofy chain that serves assembly line convenience store sandwiches.

I am excited to finally try Delco deli. It looks like it just recently opened. It's clean. And has all the things you can expect a convenience store to sell. It is sort of like a wawa concept but it's only one location. I ordered the cheesesteak with cheddar cheese and when i say the bun was very soft! And the meat was filling as well. I will come back to give it another try on the different hot food and also cold cuts as well.

Heard about this place opening so had to stop by. Grabbed a quick corned beef sandwich on rye. Sandwich was stacked well but not overly so. Everything was fresh and had good flavor, didn't suffer from drowning in coleslaw or Russian drsssing. Ordering system with the touch screens was seamless, prices are reasonable and it's nice to see such an extensive menu. Place was clean and the staff very friendly. Will definitely stop by to try it again down the line.
