Deen’s Cheesesteak & Pizza

To start off i usually don't give bad reviews but also don't give misleading reviews..... went to try it out to try something new and oh boy what a mistake the pizza taste not bad but it's definitely not good, dough taste almost pre made or something..... somethings off.... Wings were okay kinda taste like little Ceasar wings, definately not bww or big city wings...... they were very average..... the onion rings were horrible, super greasy and way over cooked .... Unless this place gets people who actually wanna work there I don't see this place staying open much longer.... Now that I have had another bite I would say pizza sauce is definitely canned sauce not even the kinda tomotoe sauce from a glass jar.... Pretty dissatisfying should have gotten a hot n ready

We stopped in for lunch. The folks here are very friendly and just make you feel good. I had the burger and fries. The fries were good not great, but the burger was better. My girlfriend had the Philly without fries, but they gave her some anyway. I liked the burger, but the Philly was definitely better. Now thier website brags on their pizza so we'll have to try that next. But you won't be disappointed with the burger or the philly!

I really don't like to review places without trying them first, but this has been one of the most frustrating experiences ever. They posted on Instagram yesterday that their new Cypress location was opened and they were taking online orders. We tried calling the restaurant to ask a question and their phones were disconnected, but we got through on Instagram and they confirmed that they were open and just having phone issues. I placed an order today at 5:30 for 2 pizzas and scheduled to pick them up at 7:20. Before placing the order, I tried calling again to see if their phone line was up, and it was still not working. I then got a call later at 6:50 stating that they weren't serving pizza. My complaint is 1) why did you call me just 30 minutes before I was supposed to pickup my order when I had placed the order almost 1.5 hours before. 2) why are you advertising on Instagram that you're open and ready to serve people, yet you do not have the one main menu item you're known for available - pizza. The least they could've done was update their online ordering service to reflect that they are not currently serving pizzas (ie. Do not let people order them online). The employee called me to let me know she was cancelling my order, and she said "if you want to order anything within the next week, call and ask for me so I can make sure that we have it". I asked how I was supposed to call if their phones have been down for 2 days. The employee was not aware their phones were down and kept blaming everything on her boss. She kept saying "you know how these boys are, they're stupid". It's really sad that the own employees don't know what's going on and they have to be told by customers that their phones are down. Super frustrating because my whole family is fasting and we have nothing prepared for iftar. I was really looking forward to trying a new halal pizza place, not even 10 mins from my house, but I'm not sure I'll ever give them my business after this. Super unprofessional.

Service was friendly and prompt. All my food was piping hot! Cheese sticks were good. Cheesesteak was good. My bun was slightly soggy after to go travel back to work.

Great pizza, I look forward to trying their cheesesteak sandwich.I ordered the Chicken Tikka pizza and it was wonderful! I will definitely return.The crust was perfect for the pepperoni I ordered. Very conveniently located little pizzeria.

The food was decent. I loved the bread on the cheesesteak. My kids loved the Chicken Parm and salads. My only comment, as it isn't a complaint, is that the cheesesteak needed more flavor. In fairness to Deen's, I'm from the East Coast so I'm fairly picky. I think some additional spices while cooking and sauteeing the onions would have done the trick. Otherwise everthing was good. We will go back

We love their pizza! We get the kids a pepperoni and we get the Tikka Masala, both so good!

$18 for a marginal sandwich and drink. Should have guessed when there were only three other customers.

I saw them on Uber eats one so I gave them a try. Very lackluster at best. Food: it just wasn't that good. The food was overcooked and extremely hot. Steaming hot. The beef seemed to be low quality. I kind get plenty good cheese steaks at many other restaurants in houston. It could be better in person but getting it delivered didn't work out for me. Definitely a solid three stars. Give them a shot if you want to try it. Maybe you will like it better than me. It just didn't do it for me

I'm one of those folks who rarely feel compelled to write a review unless an experience is truly wonderful or utterly TERRIBLE. unfortunately this review is for the latter. I ordered the same food that's a part of the restaurant's name--cheesesteak & pizza--so I figured it would be good or at least low risk. Boy was I wrong. My American cheesesteak had burnt crunchy bits of steak and the bread also had char marks on it. The whole sandwich was dry and tasted like charcoal--disgusting. Unfortunately I also ordered this as a pickup order otherwise I would've sent it back and asked for a refund on the spot. I also ordered a simple cheese and pepperoni pizza that was over cooked and dry as an African desert. 1st and last visit for me. Needless to say If you're reading this still I would steer clear of this place if you're looking for decent pizza or cheesesteaks in the cypress area. No wonder the place looked deserted when I came in during lunch hour; other folks must've gotten the memo already!
