This is, hands down, the best Indian I have ever, ever had!Every time we come here the food is just amazing.Today we had the sweetest server ever. She had wonderful recommendations that were spot on.Everything we've ever had here has been top notch, and we've tried almost half the menu so far! Butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and the vindaloos are mouth watering staples, but go ahead and try something you've never had before, you won't be disappointed.The dosas and Hakka noodles are delish. And all the breads are fresh and yummy.The chef must have a magic want to make this food taste this way... there's no other explanation.We travel from Tinley Park here because it's more than worth the drive!

I ordered off of uber eats for pickup. Super affordable since it was about $100 for 6 adults and 4 kids. I went with the recommended spice levels but highly recommend mild. I do like spice but my mouth was on fire lolButter chicken - really creamy and sweetPalak paneer - abundant paneer piecesTandoori chicken - juicy and flavorfulDeccan biriani - tender pieces of battered chicken kind of like orange chicken piecesGoat curry - flavorful and tenderSamosas - not sure how they got these so spicy!

We were 4 people went for dinner on a saturday evening. We had read this restaurant recommendation on Facebook group. This restaurant is in Neperville area. When we arrived the restaurant had few people, not much crowded.We had ordered veg and non-veg dishes. They offer papad as complimentary. Veg : Appetizer - mushroom, main course - malai kofta Mushroom was the very good Malai kofta we had asked gor medium spicy, my firends for medium spicy it was too sweetNon- veg : Appetizer - Lollipop, main course - Telangana goat curry We usually love lolipop so were cery excited but it was a disappointment :-( I do noy recommend Telangana Goat curry - This was disappointment too. Had more expectationsOverall : Veg was good, not non-vegCocktail: I was excited with the cocktail names, but drink was average and presentation was not good.Service: They did not pick up the empty plates like papad plate , lollipop. The restaurant was not that busy as well when we were there. They kept on bringing main dishes but didnt care to pick up the empty appetizers dish. No space so we had to keep it next empty table and request them to get it from there.The table was constantly moving. One table leg had problem so we did spill drinks couple of times when it was full.And the worst Toilet. I hope the empoyees dont go there. They have gender neutral bathroom and I went after dinner and I regret. Never saw any restaurant bathroom so dirty. Very unpleasant experience. I visited Deccan spice on Tuesday early evening, it was quite only 3 tables were occupied. The restaurant has been there for a while, it needs some remodel/new paint to their walls.. the ambiance is old. There was a steady flow of pickup orders. We enjoyed a quiet meal. Our server was happy i noticed i liked that- he was humming to the tunes of background music. We ordered two dishes the first was Nilgiri vegetable korma with garlic naan which was delicious. The second item was masala dosa - big mistake ordering the Dosa it was soaking with oil... however the sambar and chutney accompanied were flavorful.i did mention on the counter i like the nilgiri vegetable korma while existing the restaurant..I will surely order again as a takeout for north Indian food only.

Flavors are top notch! I love their soya chaap, as well as their different curries. The Kashmiri naan is amazing. The service is good and fast, and they deliver through DoorDash too. Food tastes fresh!

We picked up food from Deccan Spice on Friday evening, ordering the Deccan Special Biryani and Chicken 65. During our meal, I discovered a dead fly in the biryani. This level of negligence is unacceptable and indicates serious issues with food hygiene. It's crucial to be cautious when ordering, and I recommend asking about the quality and cleanliness of the food to avoid similar situations.

On a quiet Monday evening, the boys and I were in search of an authentic Indian restaurant in Naperville that would actually be open and serving at such a late hour in the suburbs (8 pm). Being quite hungry and a group of five men, we decided to order a few appetizers, such as the amazing Chicken 65, along with a stir-fried dish featuring chili peppers. The curry had an incredibly flavorful and spicy taste, even though the spice level was kept mild due to my presence. The naan served was both delicious and garlicky, making it the perfect accompaniment to the various curries. The biryani, on the other hand, was fluffy and packed with flavor. We topped off our meal with a selection of desserts, each one decadent, sweet, and delicious.This is a great place to get authentic and delicious Indian food at reasonable prices (well, compared to the big city).

Ordered take out from the online menu. Food was ready when we arrived. All the orders were prepared as expected. Overall the food was good. One of the chicken orders was so dry we didn't finish it. Prices seemed to be inline with the area.

We wanted Indian food so we decided to give them a try. We had a party of 8 and they were able to seat us right away. Here are some pros: the food was good. The food came out in a timely manner. Here are the cons: this place is literally disgusting. Like feet stick to the ground, fingerprints on surfaces, black floors, and unsanitary bathrooms. I'm actually terrified to think about what the kitchen looks like if the main dining room is in this condition. Second con: service. SLOW and non existence of service at some times of the evening. Empty water glasses. Some of the food was really spicy which that could have been our fault. But it would help if on the menu it stated which items were spicy. Sadly we will not be back because of the unsanitary conditions of this place. Rating is really a 2.5

For weeks, I had been smelling the spices in the air. Every time I would go to trader joes, salivating and thinking I needed to give Deccan Spice a try. After a new friend told me of the Biryani special, I decided it was time. The Food was great. Not that I am an aficionado, it is the best Biryani I have had to date. Those whom were working were kind and friendly, and provided great service in all regards.
